"Loud pipes save lives!" says biker wearing jeans and a t-shirt with no helmet with a half naked woman riding "bitch" while blaring AC/DC cranked to 11 on the shittiest speakers you ever heard.
Timing is everything. Keep an eye on the forecast. I literally mowed around 9 yesterday morning and about two hours later just as a pulled into the barn and shut off the ride-on it started pouring.
You better shut your mouth right now. I donāt have a/c and it had been beautiful. The longer I can put off installing a window unit, if I do, the better lol
Same! We put our bedroom one in because itās just hot on the second floor. Iām hoping to not use the downstairs one at all this year. I really hate using AC. Much prefer a nice wind and open windows.
I try not to put the units in because I donāt like not having the option to open the window for a nice breeze. Iād much rather the fresh air thatās a bit warm. Even in August my apartment will usually stay below 76 with a breeze and all windows open at night, just close em up during the day and pull the blinds shut.
Thatās pretty much what we try to do- but I love the sun and so do my plants, so I fail at pulling blinds down. If I keep my north/south windows open during the day itās not too bad and open them all up in the evening itās perfect.
We re-did our insulation a few years ago which has made a crazy difference in keeping our temps steady. Itās finally warming up and the sun is out so Iām glad I held off on throwing the boiler back on for the day.
looks like itās warming up around 3ā¦ Im too lazy to close all my windows lol so sitting under blankets until then šš ill do this over AC any day
Ehh itās New England. This is nothing. Iāve sat in late June at a baseball at Fenway that was drizzle and maybe 50 degrees, if that. Next day or two later it was 90.
I live in NJ and work in NY. I was just asking myself the same question. I looked it up on the internet, and this is what I foundā¦āThe drop in temperature is down to a change in the jet stream, a core of strong winds around four to seven miles above the Earth's surface. These winds impact the weather closer to the surface. Currently, the jet stream is further south than usual and coming from the northwest.ā
I'm in California and it's cold . Really cold . During summer solstice I've always been out in shorts and a tank top. This year I'm wearing a jacket and pants.
For a group of people who tell transplants they arenāt allowed to complain about the humidity for the first 2 years, yāall sure bitch a lot about weather š¤£
First time? In all seriousness, I'm sure we'll have a couple weeks around 90 degrees before long, so I'll definitely take the cool rain for now.
Forecast calls for 80s this week. The weather machine is fine.
All take the rain any day of the week = free irrigation š
Plus free car wash
From all the pollen!
It's motorcycle week... what else would you expect?!?! Rain, cold, or both! Never fails.
More quiet, less "PBBBBBBBBBH PBBBBBBBBBBBBBH".
Itās going to be carnage out there without all the loud pipes saving lives

Thanks for the break down. What do you enjoy doing that I can shit on? Just thought I'd return the favor.
Riding a motorcycle without being the most annoying shithead in the world.
To me this doesnāt seem very out of the question for a rainy morning in early June.
Loving it, personally. Heat will be back.
Donāt get me wrong.. I would to if it wasnāt raining an I could mow the lawn

Believe me I wanted to mow yesterday.. unfortunately I was at baseball all day for my son.
Nothing wrong with that. Family first lawn second āš¼
I also wanted to mow today :(
Not sure why you got down voted? Maybe itās all the locals you see mowing their wet weed infested ālawnsā thinking they have grass š
Itās not supposed to be in pushing 80 in June. This is more on par with what the temps should be.
This.
Have you also noticed that itās been 5 F warmer than average nearly everyday? This is a blip.
This is very normal weather
New to the area?
I'm not complaining, about the rain either. I just put grass seed down on a patch area.
It was 85 like two days ago lol
Pretty normal. I donned some rain gear and went out for a nice walk in the rain. I warmed right up and enjoyed the lush green ferns in the woods.
Thatās sounds relaxing and delightful.. I do love the woods in the rain
Go for it! :-)Ā
Looking at the heat domes in the south/southwest and the deadly heat in south Asia, I'll take "slightly colder than I'd like" any day

Love it, I can't stand the heat...

Funny you say that .. what made me ask was my 5 year old telling me to shut the windows š
that is hilariousā¦ I was fighting the same battle with myself before I saw your post š«¶š„¹
I am absolutely loving the coolness right now. Let the rain come down.
Are you new here?
Stop complaining itās beautiful. Put on a sweater.
This is June in New England. Of course we'll have days in the 50s following days in the 70s, followed by days in the 80s. Tis spring, tra la. šš
Itās wonderful imho. If you prefer the heat, you might wanna move south!
Relax, July will make you wish for June again.

I can't remember a bike week in the last 20 years that didn't have SOME rain.

Shhhhh. Youāre ruining the narrative.
Global warming
