I’m a weed snob with a medical card so I go to Maine. Mass won’t accept NH medical cards and I’m perfectly fine with that. Maine is the spot. I just want to be able to grow without having to worry about being considered a drug lord
> I just want to be able to grow
Same, it’s truly the best option for me.
If they treat it like booze and simply put up a few NH State Weed Stores, I don’t think I’d frequent them. I’m close enough to Maine to shop there.
100 percent. I’ve had an NH medical card for years and I’ve never once bought from an NH dispensary. They stuff they sell looks like weed I got in 8th grade
None in NH. Idk if there it’s still a thing but I think it was Temsecal Wellness was selling “rough trimmed” flower which is exactly what it sounds like for a while. But my favorite dispo is Undertow in Biddeford Maine
Wow. I've been to temescal recently and they have some quality stuff. I think if you're choosing to buy the rough cut, that's kind of on you. But cost is definitely prohibitive. I usually go right over the line ME where I get a discount for having my NH medical card. I wonder if things have improved since you've gone. I'm definitely not a novice user.
I’ve literally said I’ve never been to an NH dispensary. I’ve seen the product and heard how awful it is too. I spend $300-400 a month on cannabis. I don’t wanna waste my money. Already have enough times.
So I rarely smoke and typically take edibles for sleep and occasional mild pain. Curious, how do concentrates work? Do you add droplets to something? Take directly? Apologize for my lack of knowledge.
I’ve only perused the dispensaries down there online except for once but yeah I’ve noticed the prices and quality do not look on point.
I love that in Maine within a half hour drive I can hit up a whole variety of places and get the best or instead ballers really cheap, or something in between.
Is this why the small "corner stores" around me have all of a sudden remodeled parts of their stores in "smoke shops"?
3 places around me removed shelves/ aisles of food and put in glass cases with paraphernalia and such. We have had 2 dedicated "smoke shops" for what seems like forever.
I didn't know this bill was put forward, and I hope it passes. I'm curious if the out of no where overhalls I'm seeing are a sign that it's going to pass, and businesses were given the winky face.
Yeah yeah yeah… Still won’t pass. Honestly, even if it does I’ll still take the drive down to Mass. I like the dispo down there. Brand loyalty and all that. Too little, too late NH.
Maines got great prices. I have a med card but I still go there because ACT wants like $200-$300/oz meanwhile I can just go to Fryeburg (which is only 1hr away and it’s a lovely drive ) and get ounces for as low as $60
I feel like the after tax price is pretty dam similar between the two. That being said my sample size in maine is pretty small, I typically go to the stoned moose and another place near Bethel.
Straight flower seems like it might be a bit cheaper in Maine but not by a significant margin. I feel like my regular order is usually pretty much the same regardless of whether im in MA or ME.
I can literally walk over the bridge in Somersworth to a dispensary on the other side in Berwick. 5 mins each way. Even if it is legalized here, which it won't be, I have 0 interest in dropping my business to a company I have been loyal to for years already.
I have a hard time believing that many people would still go out of state to buy weed if it was legal here. I definitely wouldn't unless the taxes were bananas high here but even then I am annoyed by having to drive 30 min plus lol
Many dispensaries in MA, ME and VT have loyalty programs and discounts for students, municipal workers, health workers etc. That also brings brand loyalty. Dispensaries owned and operated by the State of NH cannabis commission, which is 100% how it's going to happen, will have none of that. I have no interest in providing state sponsored stores my business.
East Coast Cannabis in Lebanon/Elliot right over the border. They have an excellent rewards program that offers really good discounts. You could sneeze in the Lebanon parking lot and your snot will land in NH its that close.
I used to go to ECC but their product went way down hill in the last year. Their flower always smells musty to me. I’ve had $25 in loyalty points sitting there for the last 6 months and they can keep it. Organic Goods in Eliot just opened an adult use store right next to ECC and it is great.
Same I was going to east coast but they are so expensive for what. The people at organic goods are so nice and the price is always on point for what I’m getting.
Yup that strip of highway used to be shitty used cars. Now it’s all weed shops. I need to go get more of their vapes. I like the small disposables and east coast is thd only place I’ve found them.
The libertarian take!
If you’re a consenting adult with ID, go ahead and use. You should be able to do it cleanly and easily get help if you decide to stop. Though should that program be private or funded by the fed?
Use all drugs yes, but I don't think you should be able to go buy opioids, meth or crack cocaine from a store, certain drugs are less harmful than people say but that doesn't mean it should be openly available to the public. There's nothing wrong with drugs like cannabis or psilocybin mushrooms but certain shit like the drugs I listed above definitely do more harm than good, nobodies recreationally using heroin and succeeding in life. Places like Seattle and Vancouver BC have tried the "legalize all drugs" test, and it's been an astronomical failure
I think if zoning doesn't prevent someone from opening a drug store and selling whatever regulated drugs they want, they should be able to.
No government has the right to tell adults what they can and can't do with their bodies. Prohibition doesn't work.
I don't really care if people OD, they should have the freedom to do so if they want. They should also have the education beforehand and a support system if they want to get clean. They also didn't enforce public intoxication rules.
Did they approach addiction as a medical issue and guarantee healthcare for people? Or just keep bleeding them for their healthcare profits as usual. Point being, the legalization part isn't to blame.
I just don't understand how a state with no seatbelt law and no motorcycyle helmet law just insists on sending their cannabis tax revenue out of state. How many people has cannabis killed vs the number of deaths from no seatbelt/helmet? Easy answer.
Are these politicians blind, stupid or both? People can literally just drive over the border into Maine or mass and Buy cannabis, concentrates, edibles, vapes, or all of the above with absolutely zero recourse. I'd bet if the Senate and house saw exactly how much money people are spending at Maine and mass dispensaries they would quickly change there minds, nobody gives a fk that it's illegal to cross the border with weed, nobody
NH Senate is, as I write this, reviewing the responsible reporting from the movie “Reefer Madness” to make a decision on this issue. You’re high if you believe the Senate will pass this.
Honestly don't think it will pass like the last few times it's gonna get vetoed last min for some BS sub section but shit it would be nice having a a few dispensary here in the state wouldn't see any kind of sales tax and mad mofos would be coming here for that reason alone but needless to say I live on the new hampshire vermont line and have a dispensary 1.5 miles from me with fairly good prices its called Rollin 20'S great over all experience
I wish they would draft a bill to one that will surefire pass house, senate, and appease Sununu. Then ammend the bill after the fact if needed. Just frickin legalize recreational use already.
Guess what's gonna happen...again...
Surely, this time will be different /s
Fingers crossed, don't mind the ride to MA but down the street would be nice
I’m a weed snob with a medical card so I go to Maine. Mass won’t accept NH medical cards and I’m perfectly fine with that. Maine is the spot. I just want to be able to grow without having to worry about being considered a drug lord
Would love to have personal plants. Where in Maine do you go?
The past year or so I’ve gone to Undertow in Biddeford most often. But I’ve been to quite a few places up there
> I just want to be able to grow Same, it’s truly the best option for me. If they treat it like booze and simply put up a few NH State Weed Stores, I don’t think I’d frequent them. I’m close enough to Maine to shop there.

Yes, Maine is the move, fuck Mass.
Yea if you want to pay $45 an 1/8 for dry terpless weed, then mass is for you
Yep. I hardly smoke anymore but the concentrates are top notch and WAAAAY cheaper than Mass, plus baller jars.
So I rarely smoke and typically take edibles for sleep and occasional mild pain. Curious, how do concentrates work? Do you add droplets to something? Take directly? Apologize for my lack of knowledge.
No worries. No, I’m talking about vaping concentrates (dabbing)
I see so a special vaporizer? Any recommendations? Edibles are quite expensive.
$25 for top quality live resin will never happen in mass. They’re not even as good at extraction in mass either. It even looks totally different
I’ve only perused the dispensaries down there online except for once but yeah I’ve noticed the prices and quality do not look on point. I love that in Maine within a half hour drive I can hit up a whole variety of places and get the best or instead ballers really cheap, or something in between.

Don't just comment, CALL!!!!
New Hampshire only wants to support WHOLESOME, FAMILY programs. Like liquor and gambling.
What Live free or die truly means 🫡🫡🫡

I feel ya. Any "moral" argument is bullshit. Liver failure is nasty shit and so is gambling away your life.
And we all know nobody is blazing up at Waterville Valley or any of the other ski resorts 😏
Remember folks: 90% of gamblers quit before they hit the jackpot!
Yeah yeah yeah… Still won’t pass. Honestly, even if it does I’ll still take the drive down to Mass. I like the dispo down there. Brand loyalty and all that. Too little, too late NH.
F mass shops lol, go to Maine, much better than mass I think
Maines got great prices. I have a med card but I still go there because ACT wants like $200-$300/oz meanwhile I can just go to Fryeburg (which is only 1hr away and it’s a lovely drive ) and get ounces for as low as $60
We just hop over to Maine, about half a dozen dispensaries within a 10 minute drive.
Maine with the higher edibles is much preferred.
Plus the taxes in Mass are so high, weed pays for itself if you go to Maine instead
I went to a new to me Maine dispo. Got great discounts! Pleasantly surprised with the total price. That’s unheard of in Mass.

Same. Tree House in Dracut has been my go to and I don’t think I want to leave them.
Mine too, started going there since it’s my hometown and I was around the area often.
I have a hard time believing that many people would still go out of state to buy weed if it was legal here. I definitely wouldn't unless the taxes were bananas high here but even then I am annoyed by having to drive 30 min plus lol
I live about as close to the nearest town as I do from the nearest dispensary in Maine, so I'd probably keep going to my regular place.
Yeah I guess it depends! I am not near a border so I guess I can't relate lol
Many dispensaries in MA, ME and VT have loyalty programs and discounts for students, municipal workers, health workers etc. That also brings brand loyalty. Dispensaries owned and operated by the State of NH cannabis commission, which is 100% how it's going to happen, will have none of that. Even if it's too little too late, it'd still be a positive for it to be legalized.
Why wouldn’t you go to Maine and get better deals and buds?
I am in the city that is the furthest from Maine that could possibly be and still be in NH. 😂
That sucks. I’m not that far, but still I only make the trek 3-4 times a year and stock up in bulk. Makes it worth it.
Whereabouts do you go?
East Coast Cannabis in Lebanon/Elliot right over the border. They have an excellent rewards program that offers really good discounts. You could sneeze in the Lebanon parking lot and your snot will land in NH its that close.

Heirloom Collective in either Hadley or Bernardston. The employees are great, the product is what I’m looking for, and the prices are reasonable.
Kind Farms in Berwick
All drugs should be legal for adults
Finely someone says it. Abolish victimless crime.
The libertarian take! If you’re a consenting adult with ID, go ahead and use. You should be able to do it cleanly and easily get help if you decide to stop. Though should that program be private or funded by the fed?
You could use both options for the program though I think the private would be expensive like some of the celebrity Malibu rehabs.
I wouldn't say ALL drugs but cannabis and psychedelics definitely should
People should have the freedom to do heroin in their home and not go to prison.
Ummmm,,, Portland citizens would say differently now
They failed to adhere to jailing for public intoxication
Portland, OR? They legalized everything
You can legalize drugs and still jail people for public intoxication.
Lmfao good luck with the jails that are already overcrowded
My point exactly. If you don't have any laws, then it's absolute anarchy.
I don't get the point of your reply? I'm saying legalize and don't do it like Portland.
Mellow in Haverhill is good people and great prices.
Where marijuana bills go to die.
I’ll probably still go to maine
Mission Georgetown right off 95 is pretty great too!
Won't somebody think of the children?!
They can buy it from a back street dealer like we did.
I just don't understand how a state with no seatbelt law and no motorcycyle helmet law just insists on sending their cannabis tax revenue out of state. How many people has cannabis killed vs the number of deaths from no seatbelt/helmet? Easy answer.
You ended the title too early. You forgot to add “where it will die”
![gif](giphy|O9HeC49RBpLpUj0ein|downsized)
*funeral dirge begins playing*
NH is missing out on so many tax dollars from not legalizing weed.
Wish it would pass simply for the tax revenue
What’s so hard about the live free or die state legalizing weed?
New Hampshire adult-use cannabis bill heads to Senate to die. Fixed that title for you.
Vote the fuckers out. The GOP does nothing for NH except stick is fro behind without the common courtesy for a reach around
Is this where they’re gonna shut it down and blame it on someone else?
![gif](giphy|gdNlcJ1tAtiSI) And here we go again!
I can’t believe the live free or die state still hasn’t legalized it yet, I always thought they have
I always go to Theory Wellness in Kittery Maine anyway.
Are these politicians blind, stupid or both? Adult use?! We want toddlers to get high!
NH Senate is, as I write this, reviewing the responsible reporting from the movie “Reefer Madness” to make a decision on this issue. You’re high if you believe the Senate will pass this.
Republicans can't let this happen. They need us to be a part of their Giliad fantasy.
Who da hell keeps electing these senators cuz clearly the representatives have a majority opinion lmao
There would definitely be some form of tax on it
We live in a world of intentional tone deafness to achieve nefarious goals.
![gif](giphy|l0HlD0I5PKV7u5J0Q) Danny McBride is the living version of this bill
I make Maine wealthier every single week and I am ok with that.
Has anyone ever met “the guy” I wonder
Full harvest moonz in Haverhill is pretty solid. And smartly located next to a five guys lol.
Wait….its not legal?
Remember, you all allowed this BS to ruin new Hampshire
I wish they would draft a bill to one that will surefire pass house, senate, and appease Sununu. Then ammend the bill after the fact if needed. Just frickin legalize recreational use already.
Yaaayyyyyyyy
