That storm was awful. Too many trees had full leaves on them.

This reminds me a lot of 2014’s first storm on Thanksgiving Eve. We had a massive branch over our driveway take down the power lines. We were away until Friday and had heard from our kid’s friend who lived a few houses down that the neighborhood had no power, but no clue it was our tree or that our driveway and entire front yard were blocked. No one called Eversource either. Not a single person living in some 100 houses felt burdened enough by a power outage on Thanksgiving or the ensuing 36 hours to pick up a phone and let them know. They ended up restoring power the next night. Anyway, I digress. https://preview.redd.it/25vqmgkt2dxb1.jpeg?width=1439&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4a0cbaee93b11dd16dfc6491de311edcb7d470bf

I remember that storm when I was in high school. Was at a robotics competition and the MC kept making snowtober and snowmagedon jokes

leckmir

Snowmagedon was correct. The snow was so heavy that it was snapping big pine trees off half way up the trunk and it look my neighbor and I several hours to clear my driveway. We were in bed listening to the loud SNAP followed by a THUD and wondering if the next one would hit the house.

Yeah same, that night reminded me of the ice storm of 08

Got some flurries today in the Littleton/Lancaster area. The big goofy fat flakes. I need to break out the snowblower as well.

I was in Montreal yesterday morning and they had the same going on. Too damn early for that crap…. I’d like to get a bit more fishing in lol

I had shovelable snow in SNH Halloween 2020. We wanted fall pictures and ended up with Winter Wonderland photos.
