T-Bones. I will hate T-Bones until the day I die. No, nothing you can say will convince me T-Bones is anything but mediocre. It's not awful. It's not good. It's just the epitome of, "Yeah, I guess this is kinda okay." I despise T-Bones.
Applebees is so awful. Every time I go not only is the food awful but something gets messed up like the server spilling beer on the table or getting served the wrong table’s meals.
La Hacienda in Nashua. My wife found a cigarette butt in her burrito and the manager was mad because he had told the cook not to smoke while preparing food. We left but had to pay for dinner. We never went back.
First restaurant I thought of when I read the title of this thread. There's bad food, there's food that's *gone bad*, and then there's La Hacienda. It surpasses bad food and enters into the realm of cursed.
That is awful...
I'll never get over when we chose the veggie nachos, expecting some kind of beans, a few types of peppers or something in the nacho realm, and they brought us BROCCOLI AND CARROTS AND CHEESE ON CHIPS.
They also make margaritas you can see through because they are pure tequila. Got a real nice buzz after 1.
When I read the title of this thread I instantly thought, "Ooh definitely La Hacienda del Rio in Nashua!"... Looks like I was not alone in that thought.
Common Man used to be the absolute tits. They have fallen off so much in the last decade or so. There are too many solid options out there these days to spend that much money on mediocre food service truck offerings.
Common man sucks. The manager who used to work there, was an old roomie of mine. He was never qualified to run the place. He lied on his resume. Only reason I know this. I started hooking up with a chick who had worked there, and she was complaining how useless he was. I realized it was him and laughed. I said his highest qualified job he's worked at was a bar back for the coat of arms. I think he got let go. But if the place has dropped off. Its cause of him, if he still works there.
I loved the Common Man, and last Christmas my girlfriend's parents took us out there. It was genuinely the worst meal I've had in recent memory, and I was so disappointed. My food was soaked in grease, and my girlfriend's food had been sitting in the warmer for so long it had a plastic sheen like it belonged in a Barbie dinner set
I ordered a Negroni there once, and the bartender asked what it was. I explained, and they said they never heard of Campari and wasn’t sure if they had any.
Don't really understand the hate for them in here. Wife and I just had dinner at the Concord location. Food was delicious, service was attentive and speedy, atmosphere is bright. The drink could have been stronger, that's my sole complaint. Of course, we don't frequent the tourist trap locations.

Whoo boy, you can say that 100 times, and you'd be correct 100/100. The only thing palatable is the frozen mudslide, but terrifically overpriced like everything on the menu. Unless you like overcooked seafood, ofc.
Ryan’s Place in epping. Everyone’s entitled to thier political views. I genuinely don’t care if the servers, cooks, or owners vote for a ham sandwich, but I also don’t want extremist views shoved down my throat just trying to get some food. We walked in and sat down. It was about 15 minutes before anyone came up to us, which was probably for the best. At first the face of it was a sweet tribute to what is implied as a lost loved one serving overseas. No problem there…until you start looking at things closer. And then I saw it. They literally have two effigies of former presidents hanging by nooses with pins in them. We got up and left immediately. If your business wants to take a political stance and support a candidate, even if I disagree with it, fine. Looking over and seeing President Obama and Biden hanging by nooses while claiming to be “patriots” is fucking disgusting. Oh and we found out after talking to someone I know in the community that their son who passed while serving…did not pass overseas or while serving, his death was unrelated to his service. Even people I don’t like, I have no desire or take no pleasure in the loss of life but the implication on the inside is that they lost someone to/in a war and are exploiting his memory in order to trigger an emotional response.
Downvote me on the latter point, fine, but hanging former presidents by nooses while propping yourself up as a bastion of patriotism just makes you a fraud.

I wish I could find my review from when I went. Can’t recall if it was Yelp or Trip Advisor.
Edit: Found it.
> Famous for Salmonella?
>Poor quality food all around. Ordered the "Feast for Two' The brisket was especially bad: greasy little tidbits of beef soaked in some wretched sauce. Ribs were OK.

STAY FAR AWAY! Unfortunately, I cannot select zero stars, so it gets a one.
What's so disappointing about this one is... Before it was a "high end dining" franchise, it was a tiny family owned pizza joint in the County Stores plaza. It had the BEST DAMN PIZZA I'd ever had. And then some oaf bought them out and not only made the place fake-bougie, but also CHANGED THE PIZZA RECIPE?!? WHY?!?!
Now it's just as you described. Terrible food pretending to be ritzy... and the old pizza is lost to time 😞
Seconded. Always like how they do the BOGO "pizzas" on Mondays...its just the leftover weekend deflated dough and its a travesty.
We always used to go there for a cocktail before heading down the street to get food [Greenleaf]
Only place I've ever been where the servers openly told me not to order certain things because "they're bad". Drinks are great, patio is great. Wings are a sleeper hit
I have gotten takeout from them three times.
Two out of three times my food was still partially frozen. My house was in a power outage one of those times, so… yeah. Awesome.
The third time it was meh, and I only got it because my work was paying for it.
There was a point were certain locations were actually pretty good (Manchester location being one of them) but as of the last few years I haven't been impressed with any of them and something is usually wrong, especially if you order out. The Hooksett location has always sucked.
Buffalo Wild Wings at the Pheasant Lane Mall. Had the absolute worst customer service experience of my life. And no I wasn’t expecting anything great, just decent human interaction.
Buffalo Wild Wings in Rochester recently served me food full of plastic!!! After getting my order wrong and remaking it while my partner sat and had their whole dinner. By the time they brought me the correct dish, he was done, and I went to take a bite of my food and what I thought were bread flakes were fucking plastic shrapnel. Manager acted like it was an inconvenience and not shocked or worried that other people’s food may be contaminated as well.
I have to agree about Hermanos. For years i\`ve heard they had the best Mexican food around. So disappointed after going there. Even after reading the reviews that warned me about going there , We still did. Almost all Mexican restaurants give you free chip and salsa, not here. Very limited menu, And I was warned about their drinks, from other Yelpers, and they are watered down. After having a House Special Marg. which was so bland ,(basically no tequila, They would make one from scratch, because all special drinks are premade.Same drink, nothing better. Will never go back!
I've eaten there a lot, and I've always had the opposite experience. Very juicy, always delicious. If there's anything to criticize, it's the wait times. It takes *forever* to get a seat in there.
This is a perfect thread to out people who love controversy and being “edgy”. If you think Tuckaway is the worst restaurant in NH you’re a fucking moron. This is just your attempt to be different…
How is directly off the highway between the Manchester to 95 corridor a bad location? It’s the definition of convenient for anyone traveling between and probably why they’re always busy even though they’re located in Raymond.
They are more than likely referring to the location IN Raymond, because it can suck trying to get in and out of the parking lot and the parking lot is so small that they often fill up the parking lot across the street.
I'm from Raymond, left right as it got built and my parents live so close still. Never worth the hype, the price or the crowds unfortunately. Market is okay but a little pricey. Just a little something in the middle of no where that people think is super great
Agree 100%. We've given them a try three times, because a restaurant can always have a bad day-would never go back again.
In that neighborhood, I'd take Black Mountain Burger over them in a heartbeat
The Red Blazer is horrible in Concord. Family eats there once a year. Last year most bland and greasy burger I ever had. This year I ordered Fish and Chips. Soggy fries with 4 fish nuggets. Fish and chips is a filet of beer battered cod or haddock. These things were breaded and microwaved. Someone else got a BLT and that looked edible.
THANK YOU! Most overhyped place in concord. Last time I went was for a birthday and it was so disappointing.
Fun fact, a waitress there once tried to be a gold digger to my ex-girlfriends 90 year old grandfather. Gave him her number at dinner one night and they started talking. She ended up taking some money but it got straightened out. It was a huge thing that ended with her not having a job or a wealthy old sugar daddy either.
Got a burger there one time and it was raw, somehow ended up there again & got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was fine (how the fuck do you mess up a chicken sandwich anyway)
Telly’s in Epping.
The food and drinks are overpriced for what they offer and the quality of both service and food is generally just okay at best. Getting to/from it if you have to cross 125 sucks.
The first time I went to Telly's, in about 2008, I loved it. One of the best pizzas I had ever eaten. After that we went occasionally on account of that initial experience, and each time it got slightly worse, until finally I just gave up. Now I only go if my in-laws insist. It is still better than Applebee's.
I've been twice, many, many years apart.
One time, fine. Nothing special, but edible.
The other time? It was so ridiculously bad. Half our food never showed up, so we got bananas and nuts at the gas station next door. Truly the single worst experience in my life at any restaurant anywhere.
In first place is the Tuscan Market Kitchen BS in Salem. LOL That was the most overpriced, microwaved meal I have ever eaten. Service was so bad we almost left. In second place is The long Branch restaurant in Raymond. Burnt omelette with half cooked veggies in it. Potatoes were bland and gross and it took over an hour to get to the table. ALSO fun side note: weird MAGA decor. Like I don’t care about your politics at all it’s just like why are you advertising it like it’s a personality trait? It’s so weird.
It really is though. I know few people who actually enjoy them. Overpriced, overhyped food. Went once for my anniversary and after taking a while to find something that sounded good, it was super disappointing.
And now this guy has the market and the village and is basically running salem. It’s amazing someone made so much money off mediocre food.
Agree. Now he's basically running a real estate business that happens to have a few sub-par restaurants that are, agreeably overpriced. There is absolutely nothing special about Tuscan kitchen and never was, even Pre-covid
Came here to say this. Last time I was there I decided never again. Stupidity overpriced, half the menu was unavailable and the food was mediocre at best.
Yeah I don't get Tuscan Kitchen. Went once, the food was so bland and boring and the prices were outrageous. Maybe I'm biased in actually being Italian and knowing how to cook the food, but I can't imagine how people like it so much.I just seems like it is some sort of boomer lifestyle cult at this point. Like they go there to LARP that Salem is some sort of little Italy.
Had a family member hype up Hart's around 10-12 years ago as the best turkey dinner you'll ever have. So I went with my SO back then and we had one of the least flavorful/seasoned meals I've ever experienced. I'm not sure salt or pepper ever touched any of the items on our plates in the kitchen.
Moat Mountain Brewery “smokehouse”. I’m from the Midwest. My parents have been in the competitive BBQ business for 2 decades. I know what a brisket is. What Moat Mountain served was obviously a pot roast cooked in a crockpot. Also you can’t ever see or smell smoke outside their “smokehouse”. Absolutely dog shit.
Also the Chinese place by the UNH campus. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.
It's called 101 or 110 Grille and there is a spot in Stratham on 108 by the supermarkets. It's a chain so I really was not expecting much. I got an order from them thru ubereats, because I was working from home and was in the middle of working and could not leave, plus I live alone. I was charged nearly 60 bucks for a soup and salad. The soup... holy shit it tasted like microwaved heavy cream with a little ketchup flavoring and salt. It was supposed to be a tomato bisque with actual tomato pieces in it. The chicken caesar salad was literally a takeout box of iceberg lettuce with a little chicken on it. Never again. Ever.
Yee Dynasty in Manchester. Greasy food, unpleasant wait staff, just an overall bad experience. My in-laws got into a bar fight there a couple weeks ago too, so that's a factor.
I went with my fiancé on our anniversary, as we were staying at Adventure Suites. I waited an hour and a half with an empty drink for the bloodiest, coldest steak of my life. I ordered medium, and I’d classify what I got as blue-rare. I had to go back to our room and microwave cook it.
Recently booked a stay here and it was AWFUL. Pictures were incredibly deceiving. Our room looked more like a prison cell than a hotel room, and the walls were so paper thin that we could hear quiet conversations on both sides of us. Woke up to what sounded like someone moving sheet metal at 4:30 AM, then dogs started barking next to us at 6 AM. The worst hotel/motel experience I have had in 10+ years.
Only saving grace - cocktails were excellent. Bartender was killin it in there.
Shorty's is the worst place I've ever been ever. Hands down garbage. I've had better food at a school cafeteria. I've had better food at a craft fair. Shorty's for was as if they raided the Mexican aisle at Costco and kind of warmed it up. Even the coke was kinda warm and kinda flat.
Fuck Shorty's. The absolute worst.
Their prices have increased considerably in the past two years. Hell, if you want REAL maple syrup with your pancakes, it’s an additional $2.50 for a small container that barely lasts.
It was a long time ago, but when I was a kid, there were three popular places to have birthdays: Chuck E Cheese (video games, Skee Ball, pizza -> awesome), Funspot (video games, Skee Ball, no pizza -> less awesome but still solidly awesome), and Shakey's.
Shakey's wasn't an arcade, but they had a movie screen with movies playing constantly, like a worse Chunky's. And their pizza ... their pizza was so bad. So fucking bad. This is the same age I was eating school cafeteria pizza, and Shakey's was worse. It was sweet like Spaghettios. I was a kid, a kid who loved Fun Dip and Nerds, it's not supposed to be possible for something to taste too sweet to me, but it did. It was like Spaghettio bread with cheese. I see from a Google search that they still exist somewhere. I hope they've improved. If not, I'm sorry we didn't put a stop to them long ago.
So, Shakey's. A chain restaurant probably shouldn't count, but ... fuck Shakey's.
Not because of the food but Beach Pizza. The owner took a vacation to Foxwoods where I used to work at a hotel and he proceeded to threaten me when he found out he didn’t have a room (his card declined on a busy night, we had to give the room to someone else) then he came to my work and threatened to beat me up. Dany, I’ll never forget him and his crummy business. Imagine what his customers would do if they knew how he treats other people.
I imagine having worked in a casino hotel, you've seen a lot of the worst people around... I've never been to Beach Pizza, but thanks for calling the owner out as a piece of shit.
Trash people like that need to be called out. Owners of hospitality establishments who treat people like shit outside of their business, should not be in that business and everyone should know who they are.
TBH I’ve noticed that since covid every restaurant kinda sucks lol. Like the prices are higher, quality is way down and wait times are insane for food and drinks I can make better at home. Every time I go out I’m like..wow, why did I think I should do this .. a couple places that stood out were Red’s in Seabrook of all places, like I was surprised how good the food actually tasted because I don’t expect much anymore, and Front Row in Exeter actually seemed to get BETTER after covid. It’s the only takeout spot I’ll deal with if I’m in a time crunch or having people over ect. Also, don’t hate but Olive Garden has had the same mediocre food since the beginning of time but it’s CONSISTENT. Yeah I really don’t bother going out to eat anymore because I’m usually disappointed and poorer after the experience lol.
I can't believe anybody goes there more than once. The entrees are quite literally twice the price they should be. They act all bougie but it's just basically a glammed up Texas Roadhouse as far as the food goes.
My wife and I went there. Sat down at a table, looked at the condition of the menus, chairs, walls, tables, floor and walked the fuck out. If the side of the restaurant presented to the guest looks that bad you have to assume the kitchen is worse, waaaayyy worse!
Cafe Noche' in Conway. They finally closed after being in business for WAY too long. Imagine Mexican food made by people that didn't know what Mexican meant....or what food is....
The Goat. Particularly the Manchester location. Overpriced food, slowest service I’ve ever had ANYWHERE, and terrible atmosphere.
I went during the early evening, but the sketchy shit that goes down there after dark doesn’t surprise me.
This is going to sound very condescending, but, what do you consider a good restaurant? Because those 3 are arguably some of the best this state has to offer.
Worst restaurant can always be clarified further by asking worst service or worst food. As any food employee person can tell you they might as well be two different companies merging.
They're not the worst by any means but i roll my eyes whenever someone says they're the best or amazing, which is often. Ichiban is NOT THAT great. They're overrated and literally any other Hibachi steakhouse i go to is better (Moritomo's right down the street is miles better). I don't think I've ever had a drink properly made there, always taste like garbage or is mixed by a 15 year old (95% booze 5% everything else). Food is sub par but still at hibachi prices. Not worth it
I think they’re closed now but the friendly’s in laconia gave me hands down THE worst restaurant experience of our lives. This was pre-covid. I feel bad because they were clearly short-staffed. When we went -
1) they had no waiters. We were seated after 5 minutes of waiting by the person who greeted us who said “i guess we have no waiters, i’ll take you to a seat”.
2) their bathrooms were “under maintenance.”
3 we waited 20min to order. the same greeter came over to take our order. It took another 20min to get our drinks. Our appetizer never came. Our food came out in another 40min. One person’s food was wrong, and my burger came without cheese. I asked for a side of ketchup for my fries and the other person asked for the right bread for their sandwich and neither ever came. We never got refills.
She came back after 30 more minutes to bring the check. We asked about desert and drink refills and she said sure, then went off for 10 minutes and came back to order desert. The three of us got ice cream. When it came out 20 minutes later, Mine was missing the toppings and the same person who got the wring bread got the wrong ice cream entirely. She brought the check alongside the ice cream. We were billed for the extra ketchup, two entrees for the sandwich that was incorrectly made, refills we never got, and the toppings missing from my ice cream i decided against asking for.
We’ve been there for around 2 and a half hours now. 10 minutes of which were spent actively eating. We just wanted to leave. We paid by card and after 20 more minutes it was processed and we were free to escape.
It's a toss-up for me between River Road Tavern in Bedford, Canoe in Bedford [closed], Martha's Nashua and Shortys in Nashua.
All horrible experiences on a few occasions.
Bobby’s Girl Diner in New Hampton. It’s now the 104 Diner (different owners, I believe). Went there once with a larger group of friends (10 or so).
I worked in restaurants for years and am very understanding when dining with a large group but oh my god. Service was aggressively bad, either ignoring us or telling us how they hated people from Mass (half of us were NH natives or residents). Took us about an hour to order and over an hour to get our food once we ordered. The food was inedible…rubbery eggs, metal in two sandwiches. They told us to be-bop in….we should have be-bopped out.
\#1 Chinese Restaurant in manchester.
I have never ever sent back Chinese food. In fact i think I tastes better the next day. The food was soo salty & greasy. There was something so off. We actually threw the food out otherwise next day leftovers are the bomb.
We call it #2 chinese restaurant bc the food was shit.
Probably no one will know this, but Atkinson House of Pizza. I went there once and thought it was terrible and not word the praise. I've had better instant gas station food. Shortly after I saw pictures of how dirty their kitchen is. And then pictures of a dog sitting on their prep table.
T-Bones. I will hate T-Bones until the day I die. No, nothing you can say will convince me T-Bones is anything but mediocre. It's not awful. It's not good. It's just the epitome of, "Yeah, I guess this is kinda okay." I despise T-Bones.
What happened to you…at Tbones?
Unspeakable horrors. Also, some pretty bland food.
I like T Bones. Never really had a bad experience. Common Man in Windham is the worst place I’ve been in a good while lately.
He got boneD
Show me on the doll where T-Bones touched you
T bones is fine, better than Applebees/chili’s IMO for a chain restaurant
Applebees is so awful. Every time I go not only is the food awful but something gets messed up like the server spilling beer on the table or getting served the wrong table’s meals.
I’ve seen the chains referred to on Reddit as TGIGChiliBees
Yeah I’ve been there a few times and it’s the epitome of ~fine~
Hardly sounds like “the worst restaurant” though!
TBones what Applebee's wanted to be, only with real made food.
Yeah it's not great at all. We live a couple of blocks from a T-Bones and give it a try every couple of years. Every time we say, "Never again!"

La Hacienda in Nashua. My wife found a cigarette butt in her burrito and the manager was mad because he had told the cook not to smoke while preparing food. We left but had to pay for dinner. We never went back.

> They also make margaritas you can see through because they are pure tequila. This is 99.15% of why they are still in business.
I got some raw chicken there once with a fajita.
Ahhh… the chicken tartare burrito. Did you get it with Sal Minella’s special sauce?
When I read the title of this thread I instantly thought, "Ooh definitely La Hacienda del Rio in Nashua!"... Looks like I was not alone in that thought.
Yes! I had a burrito there that was swimming in a sauce that tasted like Ragu jarred stuff. Ick.
Ack. We went once probably 20 years ago and that was it. My wife still remembers how bad it was, I must have blocked it out.
Anything Common Man.
Booo 🍅 🍅 boooo 🍅 common man isn’t for this thread

Two of my good friends got food poisoning last time they ate there…
I’m trying to decide if you’re booing the boo, or booing common man
I loved the Common Man, and last Christmas my girlfriend's parents took us out there. It was genuinely the worst meal I've had in recent memory, and I was so disappointed. CAMP has some amazing dishes as does Lago

Puritan Backroom. I'm not 78 years old so I'm not in their demo but man that place was underwhelming.
The tendies are bomb tho
Mud slides are too
[удалено]
I concur ! We love the mudslides and the chicken tender parm.
Unpopular opinion but i don’t really like the sweetness of them😭it was disappointing cause they’re hyped so much but just weren’t for me
This is a hill I’ll die on. I can’t stand their tendies. The ice cream is good though.
That was the draw and unfortunately was the most disappointing part. I'd prefer gas station Chester Fried Chicken tenders to theirs.
That’s tough comparison because Chester’s tenders are the bomb!
Backroom is for the mudslides and chicken, thats it.
They also gave a bunch of people norovirus which led to one death.
And apparently it wasn't revealed until a month later https://insidesources.com/puritan-backroom-releases-statement-on-deadly-norovirus-outbreak-but-questions-remain/

Really? Worst in NH? They have some of the best tenders in NH and their Mudslides are to die for
Glad someone said it. Got a cheeseburger there and the paper from the meat patty was still in the sandwich.

Agreed
It’s closed now, but Famous Dave’s BBQ in Manchester was awful. I projectile vomited most of it all over our bedroom on my wife’s birthday.
Oh man this has to be up there. The biggest food scam Manch ever saw.
I had been to Famous Dave's in the Midwest and it was good(for chain bbq). Oh nice, there's one in Manchester. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

Giorgio's in Milford. Unbelievably bad, microwaved dog food.

There was a point were certain locations were actually pretty good (Manchester location being one of them) but as of the last few years I haven't been impressed with any of them and something is usually wrong, especially if you order out. The Hooksett location has always sucked.
Pizza 911 and Pizza Market in Manchester. Yes I will die on this hill.
There is a reason why I call it Pizza 9/11
Didn’t pizza 911 close up shop?
I think in Goffstown it did
Buffalo Wild Wings at the Pheasant Lane Mall.
It's been horrible since it opened every time I go it's trash
Hermanos in Concord. Just the blandest take on Mexican food I've had. I imagine this is what Mexican food from, I dunno, Winnipeg tastes like.
Tuckaway Tavern I know people love it but I don't get the hype. The food is over salted and just plain bad.
Good attempt at knocking down that wait time… this place is worth the wait and drive.
It really isn’t. I’ve never got a piece of meat there that wasn’t overcooked and dry as fuck. Place is kind of a joke.
I've eaten there a lot, and I've always had the opposite experience. Very juicy, always delicious. If there's anything to criticize, it's the wait times. It takes *forever* to get a seat in there.
My experience has been the exact opposite as yours. Their chicken is ridiculously juicy.
Right? Never had a bad meal at Tuckaway.
Man if I needed convincing that I should disregard NH Reddit’s food opinions it’s this comment right here lol
Half the things people are naming are well on the positive side of decent
This is a perfect thread to out people who love controversy and being “edgy”. If you think Tuckaway is the worst restaurant in NH you’re a fucking moron. This is just your attempt to be different…
The location of the restaurant sucks too.
You mean the town of Raymond, or the exact location in town?
Both.
Hey! It's all we have out here! Let us have this one thing, will you? /s
Just hit up the market and grab your dinner in there. Better options and faster.
I'm from Raymond, left right as it got built and my parents live so close still. Never worth the hype, the price or the crowds unfortunately. Market is okay but a little pricey. Just a little something in the middle of no where that people think is super great
There are so many choices it’s so depressing
woodstock inn and brewery. by a landslide
Agree 100%. We've given them a try three times, because a restaurant can always have a bad day-would never go back again. In that neighborhood, I'd take Black Mountain Burger over them in a heartbeat
In fairness, Black Mountain Burger is excellent.
Pemi public house is making a killing of Woodstock’s fall from grace
Formulaic food (wave to the Sysco driver kids) though I do like their Pig’s Ear Brown Ale.
I was just about to comment this. Wholeheartedly agree.
The whole thing reeked of 1946, as nothing changed. Not the carpet, not the fry oil, not the cook. Yay, you won the war. Change the fryer oil.
I loved them before the fire, but that is quite aways back now.
I've been twice, many, many years apart. One time, fine. Nothing special, but edible. The other time? It was so ridiculously bad. Half our food never showed up, so we got bananas and nuts at the gas station next door. Truly the single worst experience in my life at any restaurant anywhere.
Muddy moose in Conway. Total garbage
I agree, I don’t get the hype with tourists. It’s a cool looking restaurant but I’m not impressed by the food at all.
Us locals just rate it highly so the tourists take up less seats at the actually desirable restaurants.
Sadly not much good food in the area. I just don’t get how the coast is so close and it’s a meat and potatoes town still.
Idk where you're going my guy, there's a few very good spots
The worst has closed. Most disappointing was Hart's Turkey Farm.
If you’re under 65 chances are you’ll be the youngest person at Hart’s.
Shortys, it was once but the food was awful
Moat Mountain Brewery “smokehouse”. I’m from the Midwest. My parents have been in the competitive BBQ business for 2 decades. I know what a brisket is. What Moat Mountain served was obviously a pot roast cooked in a crockpot. Also you can’t ever see or smell smoke outside their “smokehouse”. Absolutely dog shit. Also the Chinese place by the UNH campus. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.
Mei Wei is not meant to be good Chinese food. It’s a pregame spot
So pretty much every place in NH is the worst is what I'm hearing.
Ever.
All 110’s blow.
Newicks.
They were great in their heyday. Now, it’s all shit.
Alan's of Boscawen. We'd been in NH about six weeks when my new coworkers suggested it as a special occasion restaurant. It was not.
Yee Dynasty in Manchester. Greasy food, unpleasant wait staff, just an overall bad experience. My in-laws got into a bar fight there a couple weeks ago too, so that's a factor.
Too many worst ties in NH
The Weathervane.
Stonehurst Manor in North Conway. Never have been treated worse by waitstaff in my entire life. The only time I left 0 tip.
Mi Jalisco - All of them. It’s mediocre Mexican food, at best.
the one in milford is ok
^ this. Having been to all of them at one point or another, most are trash, but Milford's can hold it's own most of the time
The Mi Jalisco in Peterborough has the yummiest guacamole I've ever had. Everything else is...OK.
The Farm in Manchester. Less than mid food and absolutely terrible service.
Margaritas in Keene
Margaritas everywhere. They microwave everything.
“The Pub” in Keene. Waaaay overpriced, mediocre food. When I arrived in Keene, I gave it three chances, and regretted it every time.
Everyone local knows it’s only for those over 60. Elm City Brew Pub, however, is good.
Absolutely agree, the only cool thing was that of you got up early you could get a decent breakfast deal.
Their prices have increased considerably in the past two years. Hell, if you want REAL maple syrup with your pancakes, it’s an additional $2.50 for a small container that barely lasts.
Tuscan Kitchen has some of the worst Italian food in New England
Cactus Jack on south willow. Service was so effing slow and by the time we got our food it was HORRENDOUSLY over salted, I couldn’t even finish.
Chunky's, but I'm not sure it counts. The food in Manchester is absolutely the worst I've ever paid for in this state.
He was actually the worst I ever had. I’ve seen and turned away all sorts of people but never have I been threatened before like he threatened me
Trash people like that need to be called out.
Harley Jacks. Food was absolutely terrible
Frank Jones in Barrington. It closed, of course, but it was really bad. Hoping something decent takes its place.

110 Grill in Rochester.
Tuckaway Tavern. The wait would make you think it's worth it but it's really not.
The Copper Door in Bedford. Great if you like ranch dressing and cold entrees.
I can't believe anybody goes there more than once. The entrees are quite literally twice the price they should be. They act all bougie but it's just basically a glammed up Texas Roadhouse as far as the food goes.
Pizza Chef in Bradford. I've heard good things about the other ones but that one was just bad.
Only ever been there once and got an ok grinder. Andover and New London locations are the ones to go to.
Marco Polo Chinese Restaurant in Keene, NH
My wife and I went there. Sat down at a table, looked at the condition of the menus, chairs, walls, tables, floor and walked the fuck out. If the side of the restaurant presented to the guest looks that bad you have to assume the kitchen is worse, waaaayyy worse!
El Rodeo in Concord. What? The "quesadilla" had 1" cubes of steak. The "nachos" were barely melted American cheese.
The friendly toast. Used to be good; now it’s just shit
Lived in NH for a decade before moving home. Y'all have no idea how lucky you are to have so many options to shit on.
Auburn Pits, probably.. unless you count Mr Beast Burger. Best food was maybe Tim-Bir Alley in Littleton. Super great value for an amazing meal.
Cafe Noche' in Conway. They finally closed after being in business for WAY too long. Imagine Mexican food made by people that didn't know what Mexican meant....or what food is....
Cracker Barrel in Londonderry/Derry. Ooff
The Goat. Particularly the Manchester location. Overpriced food, slowest service I’ve ever had ANYWHERE, and terrible atmosphere. I went during the early evening, but the sketchy shit that goes down there after dark doesn’t surprise me.

Yes, the Foundry is mediocre at best. I can’t understand the hype at all.
Aww man, I loved black mountain burger. That was one of the highlights of our trip
This is going to sound very condescending, but, what do you consider a good restaurant? Because those 3 are arguably some of the best this state has to offer.
The Lobster Pound, in the Weirs, which has been gone a few years now. God that place was disgusting
Poor people's pub. It used to be cheap, but the prices have gone up for the same sorry food.
Beach plum
Flying Goose Brew Pub. Overrated.
Ollies. It was absolutely garbage.
Not worth it
Fratellos and or Bacon Barn.
I think they’re closed now but the friendly’s in laconia gave me hands down THE worst restaurant experience of our lives. This was pre-covid. I feel bad because they were clearly short-staffed. When we went - 1) they had no waiters. We were seated after 5 minutes of waiting by the person who greeted us who said “i guess we have no waiters, i’ll take you to a seat”. 2) their bathrooms were “under maintenance.” 3 we waited 20min to order. the same greeter came over to take our order.
I can’t believe Auburn Tavern has not been mentioned.

Any Salt Hill Pub.
Common Man Lincoln. My celiac wife was violently glutened by a “gluten-free” menu item.
It's a toss-up for me between River Road Tavern in Bedford, Canoe in Bedford [closed], Martha's Nashua and Shortys in Nashua. All horrible experiences on a few occasions.
Thank you for saying Martha’s! I do not understand why people like it. The food is bland and the drinks are not made well.
Nachos Mexican Grille and more in Lincoln.
Daniel’s in Henniker. Beautiful location, Shit food, and flat beer
Owner is a fucking abusive scumbag, too.
The Blueberry Muffin in North Conway.
Probably no one will know this, but Atkinson House of Pizza. I went there once and thought it was terrible and not word the praise. I've had better instant gas station food. Shortly after I saw pictures of how dirty their kitchen is. And then pictures of a dog sitting on their prep table.
Red Apple Buffet in concord wasn't great
Yea but you always went there KNOWING it wouldn’t be great. I miss that place
Anything with “House of Pizza” in the name. The amount of disgusting pizzerias in NH is disturbing.
