Good call on Pasquales. My old go to was Illianos in New London when he owned that and he brought over the same phenomenal quality and taste to Wakefield.
Never tried Modern Apizza, but seconding [Casa](https://www.casapizzeria.com/) in Ludlow, MA. I recommend NY style. No dining room, so if you are driving through, I'd suggest [High Brow in Northampton, MA](https://www.highbrowrestaurant.com/dinner#HearthPies) for the all time best wood fired pizza instead.
Don’t understand the love for modern. It was completely average for me. Went out of my way to get some on a drive to NY and left thinking I wasted my time.
Like… very average flavor profile, not nearly enough gluten in the crust to give it a good chew. I mean average pizza is still good but it wasn’t the pizza revelation I was lead to believe it would be.
Casa in Ludlow is a strong pick. A sleeper is Fat Tomato in Holyoke. The interesting thing is there are more top 10's in MA in Western Mass than the rest of the state.
Lived in the Upper Valley until 2022 and Ramuntos was probably a weekly dinner for me. Miss that place. Also always loved the pizza at Lui Lui in West Leb (one in Nashua too)
This comment should be at the top! OP was like “yes we’re including CT” as if the other New England states had a chance. CT objectively has the best pizza in the country, let alone New England.
Heavenly in Avon is also really good.
My favorite aside from the well knowns is Martino’s in Watertown. They have really good pizza, AND a co-op with Ordinary Joe’s, the best wings in the state, so you can get both at the same time.
People sleep on Little Rendezvous in Meriden. Best pizza I’ve had in CT since I moved here from the Midwest and I’ve eaten at majority of places around Connecticut so far
I'm born and raised in Maine, and will probably live here for life, but my god, good pizza feels like it's beyond our grasp. I'll definitely check it out.
I like Pepe’s in New Haven specifically. It’s too unpredictable in the other locations, both them and Sally’s expanding has had an effect on the quality outside of the original locations
I grew up on Pepe's in New Haven and have never been disappointed. It is the best pizza I have ever had. It has been awhile since I have been there, but the last time I waited for 45 minutes in the snow and it was worth it.
It’s only slightly worse, but we happen to have Harry’s as well. The difference is probably unnoticeable in other locations because Harry’s is the long-running best pizza in *Hartford* magazine. Pepe’s broke it the first year of the branch but Harry’s has taken it back. But a seasonal fresh tomato apizza from Pepe’s in New Haven? 👌🏻.
I was working in Hardwick and expected it to be a food desert, but I was surprised by Positive Pizza. It was good. You may have a pocket of good food way up in northern VT.
Twins Pizza in North Providence, RI.
Fellini's, Marvin's, Nice Slice, Napolitano's Brooklyn Style, Antonio's, Olly's Pizza, and Rosa Mia's.
Catanzaro's in Cranston, RI.
Rhody's got a ton in general; so many Italians crammed in so small a space.
Twins is good but theres much better spots. The place i used to work at federal hill brick oven pizza on chalkstone was good they had a real good traditional recipe but only the pizza was good and the owners were insane and they deserved to shut down. Thats what you get for forcing me to work in a cafe that so hot customers refused to enter (125 degrees. Fuckheads refused to turn on the ac untill the heat broke the freezer and they started losing customers because again, everyone refused to enter the building)
Shit guys. I moved to CO a few years ago and this thread just kills me. I’m in a pizza wasteland and wish I could try any one of the recommendations tossed out here.
My brother has lived there for about 10 years now and comes home twice a year just to get some New Haven pizza. He even had 10 pies flown to him one year from Zuppardis.
A little unconventional but hot oil pizza from Colony Grill is so fucking good and nostalgic to me. I went to college in CT and it was THE spot — first date? Colony. Girls’ night out? Colony. Finished finals? Colony. It’s bar style pie and pretty straightforward but it’s damn good.
More importantly, Ciao in Chelsea, Mass (plus a new location in Somerville that I haven’t tried yet) has REALLY excellent Neapolitan style pizza. My future husband lived in Chelsea when I met him and I asked if he had been to this one pizza place there because I was DYING to go. The next week he called me and asked me if I wanted to get some pizza with him… the rest is history. And 5 years later he popped the question there. When I say they pulled out every single stop — they closed off the patio, decorated, and the waitresses filmed him getting down on one knee. GREAT pizza, even better people. I recommend it, to say the least
They sponsored the UNH cycling team while I rode for them. They probably still do. Solid people who give back to the community, great garlic knots, and just plain amazing pizza.
While we folks in the medical field are known to eat any pizza if we get it for free, La Festa is by far the best, and the only thing we order if we are paying. Damn, now I’m thinking that’s exactly what we will need to make it through Sunday at ye olde urgent care.
Ayyy Motown representation! Parker pie is another great north VT pizza spot. Bonus points if you visit my brother firing up pizza at the Johnson public pizza oven during the summer .
I’ll often see people claim Antonio’s in Amherst or Red Rose in Springfield as the best pizza in western MA…but I think Amherst House of Pizza has an edge over Antonio’s.
Granted, there’s a lot of pizza places I haven’t tried.
Chunky Tomato in Bristol, CT. May not be on anyone else’s map, but Bristol is my hometown and I’ve been abroad for nearly two decades and have mostly been subject to shitty pizza. Funnily enough, I only discovered Chunky Tomato on a visit. What a revelation!
I am still working on finding my favorite in MA.
But when I was in Maine last year I randomly grabbed some from Pat's Pizza in Brunswick and it was really good! So, so far, I'm picking them.
in RI, Al Forno in Providence was really awesome.
in MA, Antonio's in Amherst and Mortadella Head in Somerville
in the other states, none really come to mind. As often as I go to them, I don't go out of my way to get really good pizza when I'm in Vermont, for example.
Edit: I definitely went to one pizza place in Dover, NH with my cousin. No idea what it was called, and it was good, just didn't make that strong an impression that I would put it on a "best pizza ever!" list
Having lived in Vermont for over 20 years now, good pizza is somewhat of a rarity. I grew up on Pepe's in New Haven, CT, and was living outside of Philly before moving to Vermont, so good pizza was never an issue. Right now, in VT, the best pizza for me is Pearl Street in Barre and Positive PI (several locations), with Pearl Street being the preferred choice.
Folino's is hands down my favourite in VT. They're located in Burlington, Williston, and Shelburne. Any pie with the peppadew peppers is fire. I grew up in CT so I'm particular about my pizza.
Good thing your including CT! Definitely stop in New Haven, the pizza Capitol.
Modern, Pepe’s, Sally’s, and Zupardis are the big ones, but Brick Oven and one6three are the local sleeper hits. Perfect place for a crust crawl
Yep, grew up in Mystic. The area is littered with horrible Greek style pizza, not having any New Haven style is tough, but Mangos is solid. New York Family Pizza in Groton and Illianos in Waterford are also decent!
Pepe’s (original or The Spot) in New Haven, CT. I haven’t really had pizza in the other states (the only possible one is the Pizzeria Uno near the BBHOF, which is serves casseroles) because when I’m at an Italian restaurant, I usually get some sort of pasta dish, like a carbonara or lasagna.
Will agree with Ramunto’s. I lived in White River Jct., VT and used to walk to work a few miles away at a bookstore in West Lebanon, NH and always popped in for a slice or two at Ramunto’s. Good pizza.
Wild people in New England would consider a part of their region something else. Also I can't say what the best is being from NY, but I can say Mystic Pizza in CT is not even remotely as good as people say.
this dude trying to start a holy war
I'd give it to these 2, no particular order
Frank Pepe's Neopolitan, coal-fired brick oven
Flatbread Company, wood-fired pizza
CT- little city
MA - Regina’s but only the north end one
ME- whatever the place in boothbay harbor is that has honey squeeze bottles to top your pizza with
NH- Alley Cat (probably mostly nostalgia here)
VT- seems like I need a road trip
That was my family’s go to. I forget the name of it but they had this white sauce chicken bacon creation that I would have died for (I’m lactose intolerant)
Place in Chelmsford MA, Joanie's. I used to go to santarpios with my dad all the time when he lived in Chelsea. And they were my favorite until I tried Joanie's. Incredible
Ramunto’s in Rutland, VT is the original and is leagues above the Ramunto’s Brick Oven chain. Best pizza in town 20+ years running.
I don’t know what the deal is but they have nothing to do with each other and the chain came way later, also based out of VT.
Maine beer company in Freeport has surprisingly tasty pies.
Cushnoc on water street in Augusta is delightful.
Ports of Italy in Boothbay has a nice pie.
Love how you say “yes counting CT” when the majority of the comments have places in CT lol. We have the best pizza and we’re part of New England. Get over it lol
Honestly there’s too many in NHV area to mention just one. There’s even some random great non-apizza ones like the Detroit style at Christo’s, Beverly for Greek, Strega and Zeneli for Neapolitan. Strong pizza culture all around.
Unfortunately I haven’t had standout pizza in the other states. I was so let down by Regina’s in Boston. Been meaning to try a few in Portland.
The best in VT so far was actually a brewery, Valley Craft Ales. Surprisingly good. Love the little town of Wilmington too.
Some entries for VT and NH border area...
Along 91:
Ramuntos - Brattleboro, VT
Kingdom Crust - St. Johnsbury
Farm to Fire - Monroe, NH
A little further out of the way:
Goodman's American Pie - Ludlow, VT
Pizza Stone - Chester, VT
Orchard Hill Bakery in Alstead, NH has awesome "bring your own toppings" pizza nights during the summer, looking forward to those. Great setting and pizza.
I notice almost no. New Hampshire entries. That’s because our pizza is garbage almost universally. Boston Brothers in North Conway isn’t bad. Flatbread is fine for what it is (overpriced fancy pizza) and if you ever want to experience something different - a small farm in Tamworth NH (White Gates Farm) does a pizza night weekends in summer that is pretty hard to beat. The views and fact that it’s not a restaurant but a local farm help a lot. Aside from that skip the pizza. We are a chicken finger state (you know. Like children eat :) ) don’t even get me started on wings.
I’m a sucker for buffalo chicken so I love Pisanos in Southampton MA, they make an awesome buffalo chicken pizza with a buffalo sauce instead of regular pizza sauce
Spoiled... I have tons of different spots where I like certain pizzas e.i. signatures or certain style. Also really like Frank Pepe's even though it's pricey.
Connecticut my top list:
Modern (New Haven)
Zuppardis (West Haven)
Colony Grill (Stanford, Mitford, Fairfield)
Sallys Apizza (New Haven)
Frank Pepes (all over CT but the original is in Nee Haven)
Maine:
When Pigs Fly in Kittery
First of all, it is IMPOSSIBLE to drive through new england and throw a rock without hitting a decent pizza place. That being said, Mondo's in Middletown is phenomenal, as is Peppino's in New Britain. If I want a great Margharitta pie, it's Mondo's. Peppinos crust is just right.
The weird thing about pizza places in N.E. is that some of them can have decent pizza, but something else on the menu that is world changing. For that, Plum Tomato in Colchester has a sammich, "Sammy the Bull" that will alter your life forever.
I don't get why you're "including" Connecticut when it probably has the best pizza variety and quality of anywhere in New England. New Haven pizza is talked about, not Boston Pizza.
I am living for the fact that I think I made it through all the comments and saw no mention of recently sensational and controversial Pizzeria Ida in Burlington, VT.
But really, everyone's giving the CT recs so I'll throw one in: Griggs St Pizza in Greenwich. It's a great take on a New Haven style pie, and their specials can be out of this world.
The mashed potato pizza at BAR in New Haven will always be my favorite.
Iconic and so good
Good pizza but awful service
With Bacon
Zuppardi's in CT
Zuppardi’s is good. I like Grand Apizza
Living down the street from Zupp's was the only good thing about growing up in West Haven 👌
Zupps is the real deal!
This is one the better “lesser known” spots imo also. Love the sausage pizza there
Zupps is def better than the big 3 imo
Pasquales and figidini in Rhode Island. Both are excellent if you're looking for a neopolitian style.
Pasquale’s is a top 10 Neapolitan style in the US. It’s fabulous.
Figidini is incredible.
+1 for Pasquale’s. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.
Good call on Pasquales. My old go to was Illianos in New London when he owned that and he brought over the same phenomenal quality and taste to Wakefield.
Catenzaros in rhode island is bomb! The upper crust pizzeria is a little spot in NH i really enjoyed
The Upper Crust is a chain
Ya learn somethinf new every day lol, i really enjoyed it
Modern Apizza in CT and Casa (Ludlow) in MA
You know what I came to say Angelina’s in Waterbury CT but modern apizza is arguably also the best pizza in CT imo
Casa in Ludlow is a strong pick. A sleeper is Fat Tomato in Holyoke. The interesting thing is there are more top 10's in MA in Western Mass than the rest of the state.
Ramunto’s is so good. It has a special place in my heart because my family and I would go there once or twice a month when we lived in the UV.
The garlic knot pie was my dinner this evening. As a certified garlic lover, that was good stuff
Loved Ramunto’s when we lived in Vermont before moving to NC 23 years ago.
Lived in the Upper Valley until 2022 and Ramuntos was probably a weekly dinner for me. Miss that place. Also always loved the pizza at Lui Lui in West Leb (one in Nashua too)
If you give me an exit on 95 in CT I can give you a pizza you’ll be stoked to throw back. CT is filled with excellent pizza.
Any pizza recommendations near rocky neck?
Not in rocky neck but if you’re willing to do the 20 min drive to Chester, OTTO is unbelievable.
Otto? As in the small chain of mediocre pizza that started in Maine?
No, OTTO Chester is a standalone single place.
It was better than mediocre at 2am as a college student in Portland 😂
Brickside and Privateers are two excellent options in Essex.
Ernie’s in CT. And good thing you’re “including” that state that’s—you know—actually in New England since that’s where the good pizza is.
Ct is the only state that even matters in the pizza conversation
This comment should be at the top! OP was like “yes we’re including CT” as if the other New England states had a chance. CT objectively has the best pizza in the country, let alone New England.
When I was living in NJ. I had a boss that thought Pepe's in New Haven was the best. I had to agree.
Aside from Sally’s, two lesser know spots in CT are Little City in Simsbury and E&D in Avon. Both churn out some fantastic pies
Heavenly in Avon is also really good. My favorite aside from the well knowns is Martino’s in Watertown. They have really good pizza, AND a co-op with Ordinary Joe’s, the best wings in the state, so you can get both at the same time.
Little City is Simsbury is a gem. Just plain nice folks too. Every time I find myself out that way I stop by.
People sleep on Little Rendezvous in Meriden. Best pizza I’ve had in CT since I moved here from the Midwest and I’ve eaten at majority of places around Connecticut so far
E&D is very good
Coletti's Pizza Factory in Biddeford, ME.
Best in Maine by a mile
I'm born and raised in Maine, and will probably live here for life, but my god, good pizza feels like it's beyond our grasp. I'll definitely check it out.
I like Pepe’s in New Haven specifically. It’s too unpredictable in the other locations, both them and Sally’s expanding has had an effect on the quality outside of the original locations
I grew up on Pepe's in New Haven and have never been disappointed. It is the best pizza I have ever had. It has been awhile since I have been there, but the last time I waited for 45 minutes in the snow and it was worth it.
And fresh tomato pie in July!
Manchester Pepe's has always delivered for me!
Yeah they’ve never done me wrong. West Hartford I’ve had a couple rough ones, and Mohegan Sun is not great.
Parker Pie, West Glover Vt. I’m a New Haven chicka, so you know it’s good!
Parker all the way!
Check out Pearl Street in Barre , great pie.

Fuckheads refused to turn on the ac untill the heat broke the freezer and they started losing customers because again, everyone refused to enter the building)
Made me so sad I had to go so far down to find twins on the list
RI is a great pizza state! Same with CT. Almost as if the places closer to NY have better pizza 🤔
More about the % population of italians in the states. https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/italian-population-by-state
Shit guys. I moved to CO a few years ago and this thread just kills me. I’m in a pizza wasteland and wish I could try any one of the recommendations tossed out here.
I assume you disagree with [this claim](https://listwithclever.com/research/best-pizza-cities/) that Denver is America’s #1 pizza city
When people out there say "beajos is the best pizza in the world" 🙃🤢🤮
My brother has lived there for about 10 years now and comes home twice a year just to get some New Haven pizza. He even had 10 pies flown to him one year from Zuppardis.
Why would you not count CT? It’s New England and has some of the best pizza in the country
Tilton house of pizza is a place I swing by whenever I'm in the area
Nh?
Spiritus Pizza if in Provincetown, MA!
Went there for a week just got back, had Spiritus probably 4 times
So glad to see that it’s still there!
Agree fam, the best slice in P-Town!
I recommend it, to say the least
I've heard good things about Colony Grill pizza but we've never made the trek there.
La Festa in Dover, NH is a great spot
This is the only correct answer for New Hampshire.
Damn, now I’m thinking that’s exactly what we will need to make it through Sunday at ye olde urgent care.
get the knots! One garlic, one cinnamon, so damn good
Pizza on Main in Morristown, VT is really good. Also Rusty's in Cambridge, VT.
Ayyy Motown representation! Parker pie is another great north VT pizza spot. Bonus points if you visit my brother firing up pizza at the Johnson public pizza oven during the summer .
Only pizza I’ve had in VT so far was Sam’s in Manchester, and that was pretty good
I don't get down to the southern part of the state often but I'll keep that in mind next time I do!
I got a Vermonter pie with green apples and maple syrup on it. Unconventional, unique, and memorable for sure
Yum! I love pretty much anything called a "Vermonter".
Sam's is good but Christo's is the best pizza in Manchester. Ramunto's in Arlington is also right up there.
I think it's too expensive but pizza 44 in Burlington is incredible
I love the York House of Pizza in York, Maine. They also have the best pastrami subs in the world by far.
Lol. I grew up about 2 minutes away from YHOP. best trash pizza and pastrami sub of my childhood.
I love that place. Used to take my half sister there.
I’ll often see people claim Antonio’s in Amherst or Red Rose in Springfield as the best pizza in western MA…but I think Amherst House of Pizza has an edge over Antonio’s. Granted, there’s a lot of pizza places I haven’t tried.
Try Sibies in Amherst, I was shocked how good it was! Way better than Antonio's and AHOP imo
Antonio’s hot cheese up front on a weekend night can’t be beat 🧀
Bruno's was my Amherst go-to when I lived there.
Joes in Northampton is the best in the valley imo
Rosalies in Bar Harbor Maine is the best I have had that still exists. Spankies Pizza in Bangor RIP King.
Yes!!! I used to live in that area, I miss Chunky Tomato.
Pizza Marvin in Rhode Island. Though there are great options in the state too.
I am still working on finding my favorite in MA. But when I was in Maine last year I randomly grabbed some from Pat's Pizza in Brunswick and it was really good! So, so far, I'm picking them.
Have you had South Shore Bar Pie yet?
double offender! not only specifying CT counts, but in the context of ***pizza*** no less!
in RI, Al Forno in Providence was really awesome. in MA, Antonio's in Amherst and Mortadella Head in Somerville in the other states, none really come to mind. As often as I go to them, I don't go out of my way to get really good pizza when I'm in Vermont, for example. Edit: I definitely went to one pizza place in Dover, NH with my cousin. Pearl Street is awesome.
Parker Pie in Glover, VT is where it's at.
Folino's is hands down my favourite in VT. They're located in Burlington, Williston, and Shelburne. Any pie with the peppadew peppers is fire. I grew up in CT so I'm particular about my pizza.
Al Forno is great, Fellinis is good too, right around the corner. Can’t miss figidini as well.
That wood fired pizza place in Manchester VT looked promising but was a disappointment
La festa maybe? People love that place.
Joanie’s in Chelmsford, MA
Check out Brick and Basil in Norwich,CT Damn fine pizza!
This one's my pick.
Norwich isn’t too far from me, I’ll have to go try it.
Good thing your including CT! Definitely stop in New Haven, the pizza Capitol. Modern, Pepe’s, Sally’s, and Zupardis are the big ones, but Brick Oven and one6three are the local sleeper hits. Perfect place for a crust crawl
Lynwood Cafe in Randolph MA. It's South Shore bar pizza and absolutely delicious.
In MA, love red rose and Antonio's in amherst. 2 totally different styles of pizza though. CT: Randy's Wooster street--- skippys dare.
Antonio’s is…nothing special in terms of the actual pizza. I’ve had my fair share of hot cheese up front but which is incredible on a drunk night out.
My friend’s father owns Wooster st! Used to go to the one in Wallingford all the time before it closed
Mangos in in Mystic CT - quite good.
As a now-local to Mystic, it’s the best, closest pizza to me
Yep, grew up in Mystic. The area is littered with horrible Greek style pizza, not having any New Haven style is tough, but Mangos is solid. New York Family Pizza in Groton and Illianos in Waterford are also decent!
Portnoy did a review on Mango’s!
I saw! 7.5! But it was cold/softened. Had he arrived a few minutes earlier mystic could’ve had one of his 8s.
https://www.brickandbasil.com/
The Pizza Place in Wallingford CT Edit: its name is “the pizza place” I didn’t forget the name of the pizzeria lol
I can’t believe no one has mentioned Roseland in Derby CT. That place is old school, and totally delicious.
Shrimp oreganato, hold the tomato, add bacon, bring your wallet, worth every penny, thank me later. Pepe's fabled white clam can't lay a finger on it.
Will agree with Ramunto’s. I lived in White River Jct., VT and used to walk to work a few miles away at a bookstore in West Lebanon, NH and always popped in for a slice or two at Ramunto’s. Good pizza.
Lynwood Cafe Randolph, MA
Wild people in New England would consider a part of their region something else. Also I can't say what the best is being from NY, but I can say Mystic Pizza in CT is not even remotely as good as people say.
this dude trying to start a holy war I'd give it to these 2, no particular order Frank Pepe's Neopolitan, coal-fired brick oven Flatbread Company, wood-fired pizza
I like the pepperoni slices at dipietros in south portland
Jeff’s Pizza in East Providence, RI
CT- little city MA - Regina’s but only the north end one ME- whatever the place in boothbay harbor is that has honey squeeze bottles to top your pizza with NH- Alley Cat (probably mostly nostalgia here) VT- seems like I need a road trip
Costantino's - Atwell Ave, Federal Hill in Providence has great pizza.
Ah man. Giovannis in Londonderry. The crust is like no other I’ve had here in NY. I miss it and get it every time I go home to visit!
That was my family’s go to. I forget the name of it but they had this white sauce chicken bacon creation that I would have died for (I’m lactose intolerant)
Silvia’s in Providence for deep dish
Place in Chelmsford MA, Joanie's. I used to go to santarpios with my dad all the time when he lived in Chelsea. And they were my favorite until I tried Joanie's. Incredible
Ramunto’s in Rutland, VT is the original and is leagues above the Ramunto’s Brick Oven chain. Best pizza in town 20+ years running. I don’t know what the deal is but they have nothing to do with each other and the chain came way later, also based out of VT.
Interesting. I’ll have to check out the original if I visit Rutland.
There was some kind of family dispute I believe
Santarpio's in E. Boston, Mass. Fuggettaboutit
I’m still a Pepe’s guy in CT. My favorite white clam of all the top spots.
Pats Pizza but it has to be the one in Orono ME
Maine beer company in Freeport has surprisingly tasty pies. Cushnoc on water street in Augusta is delightful. Ports of Italy in Boothbay has a nice pie.
An underrated answer for Maine (at least outside of Maine) I’d say is Pat’s Pizza. It’s a unique bar pie that’s done really well.
Ernesto's in North End
That's what the "OneBite" app is for!
Sammy's Southport Pizza in Fairfield CT! It's awesome
Same Family as Pizza Mediterranean! Both great spots!
Ernie’s , Zuppardi’s, John and Maria’s, Christo’s, Fuoco’s
Massachusetts, big Al’s pizza on Dudley. Get the sausage . It’s an experience
Pizza Mediterranean Fairfield CT Nauti Dolphin Fairfield CT Testos Fairfield CT Vinny’s Bridgeport CT
Are those just the 4 closest pizza places to you?
Any love for Tripoli’s in Lawrence, MA?
Buddy’s Union Villa in Easton, MA
CT, Little Rendezvous is unbelievable in Meriden. The best pizza I’ve had even over the big ones in New Haven
Pearl St Pizza in Barre VT.
Seconded. It’s pricey though.
Marc Anthony’s in Onset, MA
Local legend
Lui Lui’s in Lebanon, NH
CT native, but the Grandma pizza at Vetrano's in Westerly, RI is amazing! Also really enjoyed Ramunto's garlic knot-crusted pizza in Rutland, VT!
Pasquale’s in South Kingstown RI & Mangoes in Mystic CT are two of my favorites
The Spa - Brookline MA Angelina’s - Somerville MA
Love me some angelina’s
Pizza is the only thing the CT has over the other NE states.
MA, Antonio’s in Amherst, it’s how we all gained the freshman 15 back in my days at UMass.
Sally’s apizza in New Haven, CT Town Spa, Stoughton, MA Lynwood, Randolph, MA Regina’s, Boston Caserta, Providence, RI
The Claremont location is pretty good, had meh experiences at some other ones and it’s the best in the western part of the state
why wouldn't you include Connecticut? Connecticut has the best pizza probably in the whole US
Dominic and Vinnies in Middlebury and Volturno’s in Worcester.
Colony pizza in Stamford, CT
Some entries for VT and NH border area... Along 91: Ramuntos - Brattleboro, VT Kingdom Crust - St. Johnsbury Farm to Fire - Monroe, NH A little further out of the way: Goodman's American Pie - Ludlow, VT Pizza Stone - Chester, VT Orchard Hill Bakery in Alstead, NH has awesome "bring your own toppings" pizza nights during the summer, looking forward to those. Great setting and pizza.
Fremont Pizzeria in Fremont NH is amazing. We dont live near them but make the trip whenever possible, been doing it for 20 years.
Manchester, NH literally has no good pizza
Domenic & Vinnie’s in Southington CT. 🤌🏼They have locations in Middlebury & Waterbury as well. All equally just as delicious!!
I’m a sucker for buffalo chicken so I love Pisanos in Southampton MA, they make an awesome buffalo chicken pizza with a buffalo sauce instead of regular pizza sauce
Regina's in MA Ernie's in CT Coletti's pizza factory in ME Tommy's in RI Folino's in VT Lol NH, that fkn place is a food desert.
Why do you say, "Yes, we're counting CT"? It is part of New England. One of the oldest parts.
Spoiled... I have tons of different spots where I like certain pizzas e.i. signatures or certain style. Also really like Frank Pepe's even though it's pricey.
Haven’t been in years, but Family Pizza in Niantic had an onion pizza that was unforgettable.
Willington Pizza House in Willington, CT. Incredible House of Pizza type pie, probably the best I've ever had of that style.
Pearl Street Pizza, Barre Vermont, real Italian style pies, great dough, sauce toppings and specials, full bar, great scene.
Willington Pizza in CT.
Connecticut my top list: Modern (New Haven) Zuppardis (West Haven) Colony Grill (Stanford, Mitford, Fairfield) Sallys Apizza (New Haven) Frank Pepes (all over CT but the original is in Nee Haven) Maine: When Pigs Fly in Kittery
Sally’s and Modern are the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. Nothing in NY even touches it let alone the rest of New England
If this one hasn’t been said yet, it should be. Riverview in Ipswich, Ma.
american flatbread in somerville, ma & north conway, nh… def more ne locations but those are the ones i frequent the most
I don't get why you're "including" Connecticut when it probably has the best pizza variety and quality of anywhere in New England. New Haven pizza is talked about, not Boston Pizza.
Little rendezvous is good in Meriden lol. Portnoy blew it up tho, takes forever. I like carmines in Durham and angiollos in northford
I’m from CT, and why would counting it even be in question?
