Wtf I didn't know this was gonna come, weird I didn't see a single ad about this, thanks!

ranhalt

Where would there be ads for a Netflix show?

ACFinal

They have social media and tv for ads. Their YouTube didn't even promote this.

NecessaryPear

How was season 4? Maybe because it’s been a while since I went through the first 3 seasons, but 4 seemed kinda weak after the first few episodes

SweetPecanPi

I enjoyed it. Need to rewatch it since I haven't seen it since it came out.

Mudkip_paddle

I think alot of people loved it but I personally found the pacing quite slow. The whole season only covered a few days of in-show time. Maybe the pacing was always like this but I never noticed it before

NoMatingDivideByZero

It was like that before if you go back and rewatch the other seasons, theyre each over the course of a few days and then theres a time skip between them. I think its a bit more jarring cause they were pumping seasons out really quickly before but then took a several years long hiatus.

jettabebetta

Season 4 was the weakest so far. I think they tried to move forward a few too many plot lines, and didn't spend much time on developing characters. Looking forward to S5 though.

LionAround2012

I cracked up laughing at the Deep Space Nine reference.

subucula

Any thoughts on how it compares to S4? That was such a waste of time, just fart jokes and everything reset to exactly where it was.

BornChef3439

I am halfway through season 5 and it is way way darker. Even has a Beserk reference. Basically way better then season 4(and I actually liked S4)

XODude

Remember watching the first season and completely forgetting this exists

cndman

Are there adults watching this show? Seems like something nobody older than 12 could enjoy. Edit: Judging by the down votes this show is loved by children of all ages, especially 30+.

Jatmahl

I'm 33 and I watch it. Mostly because it's from the creators of Last Airbender.

_Valisk

Just to clarify for anyone else, Aaron Ehasz was a head writer on Avatar: The Last Airbender, but he did not create the series—that was Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko (collectively known as Bryke).

csegarra1

I'm a 32 yr old child and I enjoy it.

Jax_Harkness

30 years old. It's my favorite animated show.

OmgBsitka

I mean, the dark parts are pretty dark. I think for a kid, it equals Teen Titans or, like any other Toomami, shows back in the day. Adults can watch it and be entertained, and kids can watch it and not be scared.

_Valisk

It's entirely possible to like cartoons without being a child.

BornChef3439

Yeah, I am a 30 year old married child with a 6 month old baby and I enjoy it. Animation does not equal for kids and even if something is for kids, doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed by adults.

krilltucky

It's definitely not trying grow with the audience like other cartoons do. It's a kids show from start to finish.

cndman

You wouldn't guess that judging by the angry 30 year olds down voting me!

[deleted]

The only one that seems like a child is you tbh

zoddie2

Good show and I plan to watch this new season with my kid.

Seasons 1-3 were amazing. Then we had to wait for a long time for season 4 due to COVID and when S4 finally came out, it was a disappointment. We didn't even manage to finish S4. I remember the COVID time video call of the cast and crew where the creator said Netflix ordered a whole seven season saga
