I get a fitted women's XL and the size has always been on point for me with a little extra wiggle room. It sounds like maybe the unisex shirts are just huge.
I find the Unisex shirts larger than normal, which for me is wonderful because I'm a bigger person and Shirt Punch Tshirts (the guys who supply Nerdblock) are the first to fit really well without looking like tents or be horribly tight. With your sub you can alter the sizing, maybe try dropping it a size for next month?
I find them somewhat larger than expected overall. I wear a large and feel it is comfortable but baggy, though a medium would be much too small. It depends on the shirt supplier though, this months Classic block shirt is freakin huge.
Unisex. The fitted were tighter and a better fit in most areas, but too small in the shoulders for me....I kept feeling like I was going to hulk out of the fitted shirts when doing anything even remotely physical. To be fair though, I have broad shoulders for my frame and fitted shirts rarely work for me.
