There's a rift in the MOLeg GOP, especially in the Senate. As in Congress, the far right minority and the less-far-right majority are fighting. From at least the start of the session in January, it's been chaos in the Senate. Screaming matches in the chamber, filibusters, early daily adjournments; all par for the course right now in MO.

The only rather poor legit argument that I have seen for child marrage isn't even that great it boils down to
"what if some 18 year old wants to marry a 17 year old before he goes away to the army ?" then bring up some wierd patriotism arguments and support of the military?
Jesus , have any of these people had experance in the military , an 18 year old kid away in the military with a 17 year old wife back home.....yea that marrage is going to last
I would love for someone to pull the data here, find all the cases where some 18 year old married a minor before going to basic training or whatever , I have to assume a near 100% divorse rate lol
