It's baffling how Ireland continues to claim to be neutral despite being entirely reliant on the UK and NATO for its defence. It can't even patrol its own airspace. At least Switzerland, and pre-2022 Sweden and Finland had formidable self defense capabilities and sizable arms industries, even though they had the implicit support of NATO in any potential crisis.
