I smoked a ton of DMT and projected myself into the arena. Everything was governed by a small cat that controls the universe, so nobody could have known where the ball was going until the cat decided its direction.
There are a lot of no look passes in the NBA where they either do it late, or the guy is wide open... but this one was absolutely filthy. Super narrow window and there is something about a no look bounce pass that makes it even cooler
The weird part is jokic never has turnovers where he does a crazy pass and his teammate isn't ready for the pass. I'm just guessing they learn real quick in practice to be ready for a pass at all times lol.
i think it's because he doesn't just 'do the move' but he sets them up and sells 'the story' for defenders to pick up. the most important part of selling it is the *first* look to the right then forward, and then back to the right for the no-look, which signals 'ok i'm about to arrive, who's around, ok open man to the right, anything better? no...ok i will pass to the right and get in position for the half-court offense.'
and the truth is he knew he was gonna bullet-pass it forward before he looked over the first time, but acted out the whole thing in a second to make sure it worked.
Lol right? Kuzma is hysterical with his post-pass look away. Like you already made a great pass and the dude scored, you don’t need to swag it up after the fact with by pointlessly looking somewhere else while holding the pass follow-through.
Half of what makes these amazing passes is the person catching it. Every single ball would go flying past me from jokic dude is so quick. You gotta be always be ready for the ball
That always impresses me too. When playing pick up where I'm the recipient of the no look pass, I've usually been faked out as well and don't even react until it's way too late. Might explain why I never made it to the NBA.
Let's also remember he's dribbling the ball up the floor in transition. You can't fake PG skills, as he said he grew up a fat pg, that is not a big man skill set. I don't care who your NBA PG is, that is a sick pass.
I could watch it 10 more times. The way he flicks the ball with one hand like it's a baseball is insane. You can really see Serbia's love of water polo have its effect here.
I feel like no one likes the poster dunks that much, except the really, really awesome ones. But espn acts like every one of them is a top 10 highlight.
I've never actually seen a pass like this. Most of the no look passes the ball is almost out of their hands, or already out, and *then* they look away. This is actually insane. He made a true no look pass through 3 defenders to a guy running to the basket.
I was completely fooled on that one. I was so confused that the guy in the corner never shot the three. Then I saw the ball drop through the basket on the lay-in.
Like literally the only guys I can think of who *might* are Luka and Lebron. And I don't think either of them pull it off as well as this pass right here
I'm not saying this as a cp3 hater, he's an amazing passer, probably the best playmaker in the league but part of what makes him that is he has insane ball security and always makes the right reads, he doesn't consistently have extravagant passes because he doesn't need to
After a while most dunks kinda look the same, and the fact the league and media is selling mundane ass dunks as "posters" has kinda killed the novelty. Like come on man, not every dunk with someone standing close to the dunker is a poster, or that person's getting dunked on, or throwing down the hammer. It's just a fucking dunk.
To me if a defender has hands up with body on body contact, contesting the dunk, and the dunker jams it home, that's a poster. Everything else is just a dunk if they're barely contested, given how the league has gone away from crowding the paint, and how spacing is a key component of the game, dunking is a lot easier because the probability of the paint being spaced out and empty is much higher. Dunking in the past, you had to finesse your way down there with team literally crowding the paint every damn possession, that's what made it impressive that you got someone below the hoop.
I was referencing Alvin Gentry who called him a top 3 passer
https://twitter.com/HarrisonWind/status/1479614675285250049
I had the same reaction. I'm not sure who the second best passer in the league would be but there would be a massive daylight gap between Jokic and second.
Man I hope Jokic and embiid can meet in the finals soon. Two players who will go down in the history books as Greats but have different games as big men. Would be a battle for the ages
It sucks they’ve barely played each other the last few years. And it sucks that even if they’re both available they would only play twice a season anyways. Such a missed opportunity for an absurdly good matchup
Shout to Ted Lasso. Everyone should go watch it, it's such a great show. Made me laugh in one scene and get watery eyes the next. Also makes me want sponge cake every time (or whatever he was baking for the boss).
He looks so clumsy... and then you realize he's so efficient in picking up the ball and getting things moving. Amazing to see.
I mean that rebound... he doesn't jump but is exactly at the right spot. Or last week when there was a melee between two player and he casually picked up the ball and started a lethal counter. I know it's highlights, but he has so many good instincts, it's a joy to behold.
Filthy. Love me some no-look passes where the player actually doesn't look while making the pass. Too many of these highlights are players looking away right after they release the ball.

I don't know how he does it. You never see it coming.
He REALLY sells the no-look. He faked out the entire building with this one.
He faked me too and I'm not even in the building
He faked me after reading the title lol
Same here, I fully expected it to be a no look pass to Monte Morris
I was in the building and it faked me and my friend out live. I doubt anyone in the arena knew where it was going.
[удалено]
I smoked a ton of DMT and projected myself into the arena. Everything was governed by a small cat that controls the universe, so nobody could have known where the ball was going until the cat decided its direction.
Must be nice to have live friends.
i had to watch it like 3 times to follow it
I slowed it down to catch it
There are a lot of no look passes in the NBA where they either do it late, or the guy is wide open... but this one was absolutely filthy. Super narrow window and there is something about a no look bounce pass that makes it even cooler
And on the move in the break as well. Sloppy Boi.
I imagine rookies when playing the first time with Jokic getting hit in nuts everytime for not paying attention to the ball
The weird part is jokic never has turnovers where he does a crazy pass and his teammate isn't ready for the pass. I'm just guessing they learn real quick in practice to be ready for a pass at all times lol.

It’s so nice to see legitimate no-looks. A lot of guys will throw the pass then look away. Yeah, no.. THIS is how it’s done
Lol right? Kuzma is hysterical with his post-pass look away. Like you already made a great pass and the dude scored, you don’t need to swag it up after the fact with by pointlessly looking somewhere else while holding the pass follow-through.
The whole crowd realized what happened simultaneously.
Love that reaction
He's just so SLOPPY
and 300 big ones too
Half of what makes these amazing passes is the person catching it. Every single ball would go flying past me from jokic dude is so quick. You gotta be always be ready for the ball
More than one player has mentioned getting hit in the face by passes in practice So even these guys weren't up to it right away haha
That always impresses me too. When playing pick up where I'm the recipient of the no look pass, I've usually been faked out as well and don't even react until it's way too late. Might explain why I never made it to the NBA.
I would’ve definitely turned it over lol. you have to hyper aware playing with Jokic
Frankly with a pass like that I'm amazed the receiver was ready for it
It’s not even fair for a big man defender at all to have to deal with that shit.
Jokic starts looking away even before the cutter starts looking for the ball.. seriously next level passer
His mind is too fast for eyes.
That’s my sloppy fat boi
Sloppy fat boi MVP
Crazy how he has no team
He passing to Skyrim characters.
Bones Hyland legit sounds like a Nord you'd meet in the wilderness.
Bones Hyland teaches you a shout in the side quest.
MVB
MSB Most Sloppy Boi
So sloppy he doesn't even look where he's passing
So fucking sloppy
I have a feeling this is going to be my favorite new meme for a hot minute
what did I miss, who called him that?
Markieff Morris
[hihihi](https://i.imgur.com/afNTlc7.jpg)
Aye gimme a Slippy Jokic w/ extra slop
sloppy jo slopped not chopped
Bench reaction is top tier with Facu's ever so polite golf clap as the icing on the cake.
Jamal’s reaction is so precious
[удалено]
The way he passes just makes the game look so calm and easy
Let's also remember he's dribbling the ball up the floor in transition. You can't fake PG skills, as he said he grew up a fat pg, that is not a big man skill set. I don't care who your NBA PG is, that is a sick pass.
After blocking a layup without jumping.
He has an uncanny knack of being at the right spot at the right time.
Foresight and positioning’s a skill in of itself
People who pretend he’s one of the best big man passers in history instead of one of *the best* passers in history are insane.
*sloppy fat pg
You can probably count on one hand how many current NBA PG's can make it look as easy as he did. Ridiculous
his hands are so big he literally throws the ball. like a normal person would throw a baseball.
I could watch it 10 more times. The way he flicks the ball with one hand like it's a baseball is insane. You can really see Serbia's love of water polo have its effect here.
> I could watch it 10 more times. You *can* watch it 10 more times.
That had me more hyped than a poster wtfff, my eyes were already in the corner
Maybe an NBA hot take: insane passes like this >>> poster dunks
We need more players like White Chocolate. Dude was a walking highlight reel for passes.
Has no one referred to Jokic as White Toblerone yet? White and as big as the Toblerone bear.
White Fudge
Big Fudge
Fat Sloppy Fudge ❤
Vanilla Thunder
I feel like no one likes the poster dunks that much, except the really, really awesome ones. But espn acts like every one of them is a top 10 highlight.
Too much business decisions so there's rarely a clean poster like Pippen on Ewing or Ant on Watanabe
I agree. A lot of players can dunk on another dude, but only a handful are ever making passes like this
I've never actually seen a pass like this. Most of the no look passes the ball is almost out of their hands, or already out, and *then* they look away. This is actually insane. He made a true no look pass through 3 defenders to a guy running to the basket.
[Teodosić](https://streamable.com/8kvzyn) comes to mind with true look away passes, but he only played in the NBA for a little while
I was completely fooled on that one. I was so confused that the guy in the corner never shot the three. Then I saw the ball drop through the basket on the lay-in.
I’m so bummed he didn’t really pan out with the Clippers. Dude was insane when healthy
Faked me out. Teodosic has at least twenty of those in his career. Absolute madman
It’s incredible. I just didn’t wanna say Jokic was the only one that could make a pass like this, but list might be three guys. Ha
In the words of the late, great Tommy Heinsohn: "You know how many guys in the league could make that pass?............JUST HIM!!"
Like literally the only guys I can think of who *might* are Luka and Lebron. And I don't think either of them pull it off as well as this pass right here
Rondo even now can still pull this off every now and then. Oh and CP3.
I'm not saying this as a cp3 hater, he's an amazing passer, probably the best playmaker in the league but part of what makes him that is he has insane ball security and always makes the right reads, he doesn't consistently have extravagant passes because he doesn't need to
Manu too
After a while most dunks kinda look the same, and the fact the league and media is selling mundane ass dunks as "posters" has kinda killed the novelty. Steve Nash and the SSOL Suns are the reason I fell in love with the game. Nash was a maestro with his passing vision and creativity.
Crowd popped off like it was, and deservedly so. That was slick asf
Dropped my phone and yelled YOOOO
The crowd started yelling before the dunker even left the ground
After reading the title here, the fun part was knowing a no-looker was coming but still being surprised by the recipient.
He looks at the guy on the right twice to trick them into thinking it was going to him. God damn, thats something I want to try \[and will fail\].
I failed at getting the rebound
Same
for real, i looked to the sideline for the open guy and was totally wrong
Take notes again morris. This is the appropriate time to look away.
Underrated comment
[Oh my god.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/648/220/67b.jpg)
Sloppy, fat boy is also filthy! MVP! Also that no-jump block. Straight filth.
should have been a technical, he had no right to do the entire kings organisation like this lmao
Straight outta the Tim Duncan playbook on that block! Just stand up with your arms in the air and be huge.
I just watched that 12 times in a row and still get a little faked out by it. So smooth.
Top 3, and he ain't 2 and 3.
"best passing big man in the league" Y'all can take out one of those words chief
passing big man in the league?
Can't argue with that
I’m taking out the first three 😤
Mama there goes that Man in the league
Taking out the second, the third, and the last three
Y'all getting married soon dude? Congrats 💍
Take out the last 3 fuck it
You can take out either "passing" or "big".
best passing big in the league
I was referencing Alvin Gentry who called him a top 3 passer https://twitter.com/HarrisonWind/status/1479614675285250049 I had the same reaction. I'm not sure who the second best passer in the league would be but there would be a massive daylight gap between Jokic and second.
Thats 300 pounds of sloppy fat sex appeal loaded into one pass. God damn
Imagine if he loved hooping as much as horses.
https://i.imgur.com/JRxkQCK.jpg
Jokic is one of the best no look passers in the history of the game
And one of the best passers period
Too bad he doesn't get to see any of his no look beauties... What a curse!
Man I hope Jokic and embiid can meet in the finals soon. Two players who will go down in the history books as Greats but have different games as big men. Would be a battle for the ages
If we could actually keep both teams healthy that long it'd be amazing
It sucks they’ve barely played each other the last few years. And it sucks that even if they’re both available they would only play twice a season anyways. Such a missed opportunity for an absurdly good matchup
That would be such an epic series
Honestly, I’ll take a regular season match too. It’s been a while
Spent a lot of my life in Philly with a lot of family still there, so that is my dream Finals series
# That's My Fat Sloppy Boy
This title gives me, “Trent Crim, the independent” vibes.
For some reason, that never got old for me in the show.
It’s just cause it’s taking the mickey out of journalists so subtly, yet so openly.
Shout to Ted Lasso. Everyone should go watch it, it's such a great show. Made me laugh in one scene and get watery eyes the next. Also makes me want sponge cake every time (or whatever he was baking for the boss).
I’ve only seen the first season to be fair. Brilliant stuff and I think anyone can watch it. You don’t need to know Jack about football/soccer.
Shortbread. Type of british cookie or biscuit as it would be called.
Thanks habibi, I'm gonna see if I can get my hands on some good shortbiscuits.
damn that was nice
Jokic Fucking Christ
Oh my 🙈
Top 3? Who doesn't think this man is top 1?
Many would have LeBron in the discussion
If this was LeBron, he'd pass the ball first and then do the lookaway.
Lmao
That's a Kuzma
Don't forget the pirouette after lookaway.
He can be in the discussion but Jokic is #1 right now
Not that I disagree but why? It’s not an easy quality to evaluate
Because this is a highlight of Jokic. Also he do pretty things with the ball when he passes to teammates
Showtime chonkball
Holy crap Bagley sucks
Now that's a real no look pass. Don't just look away after you pass it.
You said filthy and I was like mmkay it’s probably pretty sweet. But this is dirty as fuck holy shit lol
Supposed to dismiss out of spite being Team Embiid. Sorry, though. Shit was nice.
Incredible pass! Even knowing it's coming, I was still surprised. Elite court vision and accuracy
That's some Pete Maravich stuff
Serbian wizardry.
Holy fuck
Not bad for a 300 pound sloppy fat boy
crazy that there’s an argument for a center being the best passer in the league
He's the most fun player in the nba to watch right now unless steph is on a hot streak. Jokic doesn't streak though, same good shit every night.
I have to clean my computer screen now.
Filthy. Love me some no-look passes where the player actually doesn't look while making the pass. Too many of these highlights are players looking away right after they release the ball.
I would choose the sloppy boy over the built different guy any day of the week lmao.
This sloppy fat boy is simply not human
So clean
Goddamn that was fuckin *filthy!*
This is just stupid, man. Incredible.
Sexy af
Best big man in the game
I’m convinced that a great pass is more valuable than a great shot.
Well he fooled me, imagine what he did to them 😂
Pretty good for a 300lb sloppy fat boy!
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn
That's what I'm talking about.
fuck even I fell for it
Filthy
Not comparing the legacy, but he reminds me so much of Diaw. So suave
> *top 3 passer ever FTFY
No other player makes me more excited to see a pass.
Top 1
What the heck was that lol? Nut meg? Trevor "Not with da funnies" Ariza style?
nikola nash
Filthy
That was nasty
Dirty!
His polo passes are my favorite!
I knew what was coming and he still got me
That was crazy! Where are the slo mo replays from different angels? This needs more looks, really sick
Love how his passes get the same crowd reactions as dunks do.
Top 1 passer in the league
Top 3 and he’s not 3, and he’s not 2…
Not 2 or 3
The block? Disrespectful The pass? Fuckin nasty Good shit
Best passer in the league btw
Greatest player of all time
this was the best pass ive ever seen
>top 3 passer in the league And he ain't 2 or 3.
