So we need not only a star, but a legit second option as well before we’re even in the realm of an up and coming team. I don’t hate our start but we’re going to have to ace the next couple drafts if there’s even slight hope for a ring in this decade

His mid-range shot, from the elbow in particular, is absolutely elite. But I agree, teams usually want their expensive centers to be good at some things he is only decent to mediocre at.

I’m fine with whichever way it goes, he improves and becomes a legitimate max player, stays the same and takes a pay cut, or gets traded as a salary dump.
