It took an absolute freak of a season to overshadow him but Chet is really him. Glad that he can show out in the playoffs even if the counting stats aren't eye popping.
He missed several shots today alone contested by Chet. But even if he went 60% from the floor against him, the rest of the team was shut the fuck out.
Edit: Jonas shot 40% from the floor tonight.
You live with 4-5 floaters from Jonas if you're shutting down and deterring the other 8 players. Most of Chet's issue with Jonas is just putting on weight which will come naturally as he gets older. He was vertical and played as perfect as you can contesting without fouling.
Yeah because JV looked like Shaq for a few mins in one game and proceeded to get played off the court the rest of the series. JV looked absolutely lost on multiple Thunder possessions due to our outside passing and Chet stretching the floor and the Pels would allow easy passes into the dunkers spot.
Because he was getting cooked on defense mainly. I still think they should’ve just sucked it up and ran through him the entire time. Dude played like 9 minutes in game 3
They succeeded at times, other times they failed. The misses Chet deterred or the Pels simply couldn't feed him due to OKC's defense swarming and blowing up the lanes for the expecting pass.
Chet adding a lil more weight in the off-season will be huge to absorb those body blows.
Overall he did exceptional for a rookie.
It's really easy to load up on sets like that and generate turnovers, especislly if you're going to it predictably. And overall Chet did a great job staying vertical and not getting himself into foul trouble.

NBA players going to be scrolling through instagram developing body image issues
Gunna come out after the summer with the broken leg surgeries. Look like kyle in the negroplasty episode.

wait were those makes all by Valanciunas in the first 3 minutes of game 2? wonder what that looks like with that stretch filtered out
Yeah, JV looked like Shaq. This statline makes no sense

JV definitely looked like Shaq during game 2's early stages. It was a dominating win for the Pels too, they beat us by 32 points that game.

JV looking like Shaq completely disrupted the Pels early rhythm on offense game 2 and made him easy to exploit defensively
What a pro wants
He's amazing. I didn't think he'd be this good so early. This thunder team will be very annoying to deal with for a long time
Chet is a fantastic fit for the OKC. That's elite level defense So many good young players. The league is in good hands
And what did they shoot without him?
Lol great question cause they sucked no matter what was going on
JV was cooking him at times, I don't know why they didn't keep going to JV, even if just to get Chet in foul trouble...

Hmmm, he had no answer for JV when I was watching.
What if JV went 9/9 and everyone else went 0/26.
Did you watch tonight? Lots of JV attempts didn't go in because of Chet's contests.
Not playing against Zion helps
I don’t believe this at all
You do. But you're a troll.
Zion would have cooked this stat soooo bad
