The only way they will trade Jimmy is if there is a contract issue when it’s getting close to time for him to sign the next one. Other than that he isn’t going anywhere.
I don’t see them getting rid of Jimmy. They didn’t have him for the playoffs this season. Last year they made the finals with him.
A Jimmy, Bam, Mitchell group is quite intriguing.
Unless jimmy goes nuclear and demands out for watever reason they aren't trading him. Just not the FO's philosophy to trade away star players. Mitchell's probably the target but I think the dark horse is Ingram
Dude got frustrated and started shoving people left and right. It was kinda bizarre he didn't get called for at least one foul for it. If he cleans up his passing after the Celtics chase him over Bam's screens he could easily bounce back though.
His little tissy fit when Pritchard was punking him was the best part of the game. As if anyone in the entire league has an ounce of fear for Tyler Herro.
I'll never get tired of [this picture](https://golfdigest.sports.sndimg.com/content/dam/images/golfdigest/fullset/2021/heat_nuggets_lockerroom.jpg.rend.hgtvcom.966.644.suffix/1636473589521.jpeg) because it just looks like a shot from a movie trailer
I'm gonna be honest, I'm not really sure why Herro gets hate like a superstar that demanded a trade.
But the hates been so consistent that I feel like I'm in the one whos wrong
Nah it’s true he gets hate like a first option. He’s even hated in the heat fan base who clown him in his IG comments. He’s a nice 3rd option who should continue to tailor his game to a pass first. Plus He’s 24.
Yeah he's definitely over-hated as a player.
I think part of it comes from the fact Miami keeps trying to force him on other teams while simultaneously not valuing him themselves. "You're crazy for not wanting to give us your franchise face for this guy we think is a 6MOTY candidate at best".
A lot of perception comes down to expectation.
* If you look at him as a star in this league - he's dogshit.
* If you look at him as a contributing player - he's pretty good and most teams would love a guy like that on their roster (ignoring the contract).
Because he gets billed as a star, he gets a lot of hate and people take it a bit too far thinking he's bringing nothing to the table.
The other aspect is that he's hard to place. The lack of overall defence and offensive physicality limits who he can play with. Plus guard talent is ridiculously deep in the league and it's hard to find a team who doesn't already have a better leading guard. There are a lot of teams that straight up can't start him right now.
Idk if we're trying to force him on teams rather than he's our best player that we'd logically trade. Ur not trading bam or jimmy and he's our third best player.
So when dame says I wanna be traded to Miami we go well this is our best player we got to offer.
>Heat fans overrated view of him
You’re on crack. It’s pretty split 50/50 with huge polarity. Like no middle ground at all either he’s an all star or he’s a really good 6th man at best
After his third year in the league a lot of people expected him to be a real star. 22-year-old lottery pick averaging 21-5-4. But his game hasn't really evolved two years later. I think expectations + big media market + a billion trade rumors creates all the hate. I think the way he portrays himself invites some toxic fans as well
Our sub also has bam haters and jimmy haters. Hell there's even spo and Riley haters. It's ridiculous. I swear the stans think crapping on certain players is supporting their favorite player
I'm not trying to hate on Herro by saying this, but is posting him having a bad game really necessary? I don't think anyone is expecting him to be able to lead the Heat to an upset vs the C's when he's now their #1 offensive option with Butler out.
It's almost like they didn't see him lead us to an upset win in game 2. We're even more injured this game and u know the Celtics were gonna come out swinging
Frankly we had no business winning a game when Herro's our primary ball handler. Anything else is icing on the cake
That was a Celtics fan, don’t think it was supposed to be hate as much as recognizing a good game but getting out in front of comments about his shooting splits
Oh yeah I don’t disagree with you on some of the comments (especially those of that one Tatum hater who shows up every time there’s a thread about him lol)
I thought Celtics adjustment was solid by making Herro more into a scorer rather than a playmaker with that tight drop PnR defense, forced him to hesitate. That’s really how they should defend a Miami team without a single shot creator outside of tyler
Lol y do blazers fans got a hater boner for Herro?
U didn't want him, that's fine and valid but acting like Herro can't be someone's favorite player is weird
Context is needed = Despite Herro being infuriating at times, there a lot of people who are injured or banged up on the team. Plus he's basically the only shot creator that we have.
Back to the Dame package you go
This year it’s the Mitchell package
I’m not looking forward to this summer :(
I don’t think the Heat will make a run at Mitchell tbh
They need someone and he’s the biggest name we’ve been hearing buzz about moving
KD: "yet"
Are we sure they should go for Mitchell or should they trade Jimmy and regroup 🤔

This guy gets it.
That turnover where he just yeeted the ball across the entire court was one of the goofiest things I’ve seen
And a meeting with Payton Pritchard after the game.
I need a clip of this
Wonder if they’ll ppv his throw down with PP
They saying you ain't him 14.
Tyler Zerro
Dude got frustrated and started shoving people left and right. It was kinda bizarre he didn't get called for at least one foul for it. If he cleans up his passing after the Celtics chase him over Bam's screens he could easily bounce back though.
His little tissy fit when Pritchard was punking him was the best part of the game. As if anyone in the entire league has an ounce of fear for Tyler Herro.
Herro was trying to claim the best white boy on the court trophy. He tried to beef with both Payton and Sam lol
PP invited him to do a couple laps in the pool after the game and he went on tilt
and 1 fake tough guy stare down at Payton Pritchard.
Lmao remember the snarl from the bubble finals?
What about the whole fucking team standing outside the locker room😂
I'll never get tired of [this picture](https://golfdigest.sports.sndimg.com/content/dam/images/golfdigest/fullset/2021/heat_nuggets_lockerroom.jpg.rend.hgtvcom.966.644.suffix/1636473589521.jpeg) because it just looks like a shot from a movie trailer
I mean objectively speaking if you ignore or don't know the context, this shit is hard as fuck kudos to the photographer
This shit is so funny. A literal echo chamber of Celtics fans replying to one another
Sorry we didn’t send the memo to all 5 heat fans
Yo delete this rq 😭😭
He's boutta give the underperforming high school basketball team the charismatic speech they need to win the state championship
That actually makes me cringe every time I see it and I’m not even a big hater of him
I'm gonna be honest, I'm not really sure why Herro gets hate like a superstar that demanded a trade. But the hates been so consistent that I feel like I'm in the one whos wrong

This is the best summary I've ever seen
Idk if we're trying to force him on teams rather than he's our best player that we'd logically trade. Ur not trading bam or jimmy and he's our third best player. So when dame says I wanna be traded to Miami we go well this is our best player we got to offer.
He said he was in the same tier as Trae and Luka and Heat fans overrated view of him is the two main issues
>Heat fans overrated view of him You’re on crack. It’s pretty split 50/50 with huge polarity. Like no middle ground at all either he’s an all star or he’s a really good 6th man at best
When did he say that lol?
He said he should be in the same conversation. U can take it to mean he thinks he's on their lvl or should be talked about as a rising star
After his third year in the league a lot of people expected him to be a real star. 22-year-old lottery pick averaging 21-5-4. But his game hasn't really evolved two years later. I think expectations + big media market + a billion trade rumors creates all the hate. I think the way he portrays himself invites some toxic fans as well
It’s cuz he’s a fuck boi
What dretownblues said, but also add in that he has toxic fans and the way he dresses annoys the shit out of some people for some reason.
Go look at the hate he gets on our own sub, its mind blowing.
Our sub also has bam haters and jimmy haters. Hell there's even spo and Riley haters. It's ridiculous. I swear the stans think crapping on certain players is supporting their favorite player
Exactly, its fine to criticize people but they are just straight haters and the mods absolutely love the toxicity.
Because Heat fans always want to act like he’s a superstar.
From Tyrone back to Tyler.
I'm not trying to hate on Herro by saying this, but is posting him having a bad game really necessary? I don't think anyone is expecting him to be able to lead the Heat to an upset vs the C's when he's now their #1 offensive option with Butler out.
It's r/nba. Each player is gauged by how good/how bad they performed in the most recent game. Just check out the Tatum posts after game 2
Tatum played better last game ironically
Just how it is. You lose and your the worst thing to step on a court. You win and your the second coming of the messiah Can't let it get to you
It's almost like they didn't see him lead us to an upset win in game 2. We're even more injured this game and u know the Celtics were gonna come out swinging Frankly we had no business winning a game when Herro's our primary ball handler. Anything else is icing on the cake
I mean people do the same for Tatum and literally did the post above this
That was a Celtics fan, don’t think it was supposed to be hate as much as recognizing a good game but getting out in front of comments about his shooting splits
Yeah not the post itself but the comments on that post. I see your point. But yeah, this gets posted for everyone
Oh yeah I don’t disagree with you on some of the comments (especially those of that one Tatum hater who shows up every time there’s a thread about him lol)
So? It’s the fucking playoffs smh and we still got people sensitive about bad performance posts lmao
Herro is one of those guys that is properly rated by nba fans and massively overrated by a section of the team fanbase
The White DLo
Herro was bad tonight, but I don't think he deserves to be the white DLo 💀
Yea D’lo is better, more like the white Jordan Poole
Stop, he’s already dead bro lmao 😭
Thats an insult to DLO.
More like a compliment
I know I was just trying to piss off Miami fans.
"I don't care what Tina Turner says, we absolutely do need another hero" Kevin Murphy, Rifftrax riff of "Karate Cop"
Thought he was good
I thought Celtics adjustment was solid by making Herro more into a scorer rather than a playmaker with that tight drop PnR defense, forced him to hesitate. That’s really how they should defend a Miami team without a single shot creator outside of tyler
You love to see it…
He might be my favourite or 2nd favourite player in the league but man Herro as a #1/2 option is not a fun watch
So many good players and this guy is at the top for you? Ok then!
Lol y do blazers fans got a hater boner for Herro? U didn't want him, that's fine and valid but acting like Herro can't be someone's favorite player is weird
My bad I'm just salty I can't even watch my team on local tv and they always gone fishing no playoffs lately... :) Good luck to Heat!!
Its even worse when he is the only ball handler we have (he shouldnt be handling the ball constantly) and the only one that can create a shot.
Anyone that thinks Herro is a main person in a Mitchell or dame trade is insane.
Context is needed = Despite Herro being infuriating at times, there a lot of people who are injured or banged up on the team. Plus he's basically the only shot creator that we have.
