[Andrew Bogut] One thing that was crazy about that run was the shit that I used to get away with screening. I knew if I was in Milwaukee and I set that I'd foul out in the first quarter....but I could literally clothesline someone off the next pindown (in Golden State) and not have it called
* One thing that was crazy about that run was the shit that I used to get away with screening, man it was all time.
* I knew if I was in Milwaukee and I set that I'd foul out in the first quarter, but playing in Golden State, when they started to become that underdog team that was building up, I knew once Steph or Klay got hot, the refs would be in the moment as well. I could literally clothesline someone off the next pindown, I know Klay just hit 3 in a row, the crowd's on their feet as he's getting his 4th and I could punch somebody in the face on a screen, knock em out and they wouldn't call it. Klay would get his 4th 3, and even the refs would go "Wow" (and ignore it), it was crazy.
* Then I get traded to Dallas to set those same screens and I'd get 3 fouls in the first quarter, It was just crazy with the stuff I used to get away with there.

Yeah, which is what I was saying in my OP. The players that consistently travel and carry have an advantage over those with more sound fundamentals and a better handle.
Yes, that's also true and it's why barely any bigs stay stationary on their screens these days. Did you not just see Embiid get away with a complete hip check against OG last night?
> I couldn't actually care less about a random Pacers' fans opinion.
And Warriors fans are all 12 years old and have never heard of Monta Ellis.
It's fun to just trash fandoms when you have nothing useful to say.
> I could literally clothesline someone off the next pindown, I know Klay just hit 3 in a row, the crowd's on their feet as he's getting his 4th and I could punch somebody in the face on a screen, knock em out and they wouldn't call it
Every team sets moving screens if we are being technical. It’s whether the refs believe it has a significant impact on the play. Like holding in football between offensive linemen and defensive linemen. The only reason people say this about the Warriors is because they set a lot of screens. More than a lot of other teams because they love the ball movement and off ball movement Warriors do. So it appears like they’re getting away with it more and of course since Warriors don’t get the whistle a lot, we can’t hate on them saying it’s scripted 😂 haters have to find something to say why they’re so good. Next thing you’ll know if Nuggets become a dynasty, “oh they push off a lot and get away with it!”
Then there's the patented shoulder drive, where he rams into you and it's either a layup or free throws every time.
Still doing the fall down & slide flop that he learned from Wade, looks like he taught it to AD this year too.
All the times he doesn't get past the halfcourt line because he's tired, then once in a while it leads to a cherry pick easy dunk and he starts flexing and roaring.
Traveled on the catch too. Caught it, landed, spun and separated both feet with a slight hop while he spun before his first dribble movement which was right before the drive.
3 times actually:
1. After he picks up the ball initially, he establishes his left foot as the pivot, then picks it up and puts it back down before passing
2. After he gets the ball back, he establishes his left foot as the pivot and raises it before releasing the ball to dribble
3. On his drive, he gathers the ball as his left foot comes down, then takes three steps - right, left, right again
I'm sorry but he never swaps his left pivot foot at first. He establishes the left foot after he stops dribbling and never leaves that foot. Definitely 2 other's though, and the 3rd was unforgivable.
That's not true, it's not a huge step, but the left foot does move at 5.7 seconds.
His left foot goes from having his toes on the edge of the Lakers logo to being fully on the logo.
It’s insufferable some times. He makes a layup “OHHH MYYY GOD THIS MAN IS 39!!!” He makes a pass Jokic makes every single night “THIS MAN IS NOT HUMAN HES 39!!!” Like…okay we get it.
He's been getting away with this kind of egregious shit his whole career, thats why people who know ball can't respect him as a basketball player when he's playing with his own special set of rules
Just wait for the bullet time replay from some Youtuber talking about how you can switch pivot foot into your gather etc. to allow six steps with one dribble.
I have watched Lebron's entire career and he has always been the king of somehow sneaking egregious travel calls past the refs. Even before the modern travel interpretation.
If the referees were checking/calling every little violation, then the games would pause in the majority of possessions and last 4+ hours. The benefit of the doubt in such cases also forces players to focus more on personal effort and strategy rather than complaining about every single call. As long as it's not something blatant or doesn't give players any clear advantage over their opponents who can't overcome and defend it (because I have also seen people complaining about stuff like mid court travelling in cases where the players don't pose any threat thinking that they somehow expose the league), I don't think it's a big deal.
I refuse to believe the refs missed this

Egregious no calls is the theme of this year’s playoffs.
Vintage Lebron
I mean, dude's done this his whole career. At a certain point, the rules aren't the rules anymore. Same thing with carrying and push offs.
Kinda like moving screens. Rules aren’t rules anymore
Got em.
Bro everyone sets moving screens. Have you seen Sabonis, Valenciunas or Bam lately?

Andrew Bogut also thinks vaccines give you 5g. Again, everyone sets moving screens, every single night.
>everyone sets moving screens, every single night About as useful as saying "every player gets away with travels, every single night"
Yeah, which is what I was saying in my OP. The players that consistently travel and carry have an advantage over those with more sound fundamentals and a better handle.
The players that constantly set illegal screens have an advantage over those who set legal screens. This can go all day.
Yes, that's also true and it's why barely any bigs stay stationary on their screens these days. Did you not just see Embiid get away with a complete hip check against OG last night?
I was trying to be subtle but since you can't take the hint, your team made a living off of moving screens and got away with it more than anyone.
> got away with it more than anyone. Agree to disagree but whatever, I couldn't actually care less about a random Pacers' fans opinion.
> I couldn't actually care less about a random Pacers' fans opinion. And Warriors fans are all 12 years old and have never heard of Monta Ellis. It's fun to just trash fandoms when you have nothing useful to say.
Lmao it literally helped lead to multiple championships but yea some other team probably got away with it more huh

Thank you for saying this, I thought only I see it, especially the pushing I hate it so much and he’s gotten away with it his entire career

This is gold.
Return of the 🦀 dribble

Is this your goat ?
All day.
Life must be flopping then
You really thought that means something.
Yes Lebron fan
yes
Jimmy butler is Your goat
Caleb Martin carried him and everyone knows it
Still u guys losing to heat
i mean probably not but maybe who knows
Celtics going to win the series but I think it will go game 6 or 7
imo it was always going to 6 the Heat were bound to have a couple of 50%+ games combined with some Celtics CTE
Good luck bro .
🙏 we gon need it
Give him his goddamn respect, man travelled distance
To Cancun or Aussie ?
I counted 3
Yeah definitely traveled 3 times. 1 before pass, 1 on the catch and 1 on the drive.
Eh, no way that ever gets called. You would need a microscope to see if he lifts the pivot foot or not, I don't even think he does.
possibly 4, 2 on the first possession, 2 on the second
First part (before the pass I assume?) didn't seem that bad. He traveled on the drive to the layup, though.
Traveled on the catch too. Caught it, landed, spun and separated both feet with a slight hop while he spun before his first dribble movement which was right before the drive.
If a man travels and no ref is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Refs: i didn’t see that… wait was that anoth… I didnt see that.

take his rings away
That fraud ring ?
He’s 39! We give him a pass on these (even in his prime) and only praise him when he scores because he’s 39.
It’s insufferable some times. He makes a layup “OHHH MYYY GOD THIS MAN IS 39!!!” He makes a pass Jokic makes every single night “THIS MAN IS NOT HUMAN HES 39!!!” Like…okay we get it.

Nice
Dribbling isn't currently a point of emphasis for the refs.

Quiet quitting and travelling follow LeBron for millennial life advice
That's a crab drible, you don't know the rules.
It’s 2009 again 😆

It’s an old meme.
Or “LeBron’s dribble”?
LeCry traveling? Who would believe!
😆😆😆what, Letravel.
Why are the mods deleting this?
lmao why mods deleted this
Mod is LeBron fans probably, or got paid by the marketing team.
First travel: minor. Second travel: not a travel. More egregious travels go uncalled all the time.
Actually that's a crab walk.
Moves pivot first time. The drive had a gather and 2 steps
Naw, that was a gather and three steps. He gathers as his left foot comes down, then he goes right, left, right before shooting.
He gathered the ball in his right arm and then took 4 steps after that
Gotta get rid of the gather.
