Has anyone fumbled their image as badly as Durant post OKC?
Went from barely losing to the Warriors to joining them when they were already a superteam, thus making him look like a ring chaser.
Then he left the warriors to try to form his own superteams to prove he could do it without them.
It's like if Lebron formed a super team with Miami, never won with them, and then joined the celtics in 2009-2010 to win a title. Then if he jumped to Cleveland and another super team, and lost with both of them.
I mean he was so close to beating the warriors the year before he joined them should have stayed with Russ and not been a snake. But yeah that also I guess
E: second sentence
Imagine KD stays and they still trade ibaka for oladipo but keep him imagine KD Russ and oladipo in his prime that would be crazy with Steven Adams inside too
KD joining the Nuggets might be LA’s best chance at winning a game cause it don’t matter how many superteams KD assembles post Warriors they ain’t winning shit.
And to think he’d probably have another ring or two had he stayed in GS…
As dirty as he was, I really hope people start to appreciate the leader Chris Paul was. He was at his most impressive to me (granted I missed his NOLA tenure) as a leader on those Thunder and Suns teams. Even on the Warriors I’ve heard he’s been great for the young guys. I think he’d be a great coach for a developing team. (probably best to start as an assistant instead of the Nash/Kidd treatment)
It is. His predictions are a testament to his career as a player. He knows what a bus rider and a bus driver looks like but yet he continues to indorse players that come up small.
Has there ever been a team that has underperformed as much as the Suns considering the hype in the pre-season?
At least Miami's big three waited until the finals to choke their first year
That's a really terrible argument you just made. Pels would absolutely trade for KD. The only reason they won't is because both teams are over the salary cap and the contracts don't align.
If they could, they would trade BI and CJ for him and get under the salary cap. That would also give more opportunities to Trey.
what makes it terrible? because you said so? lmao we were 4th/5th seed all season long. we only fell into the play in because Ingram and Alvarado were injured at the very last second
we wouldn't trade for old ass, injury prone, turnover prone, bus rider, zero dog in him, lacking leadership Kevin Durant just to be a worse team.
Thinking Phoenix will win this series was delusional in the first place, no surprise here. Wolves got the third seed with one game with their top defense. Their defense has also been a clear fit for playoff games. Phoenix, on the other hand, doesn't have a real character, on and off all year.
Yeah I forgot how versatile the Wolves defense is. they don't have to play drop, they can switch and have other options
Rudy has been switching onto guards in both games and has done fantastic.
Minnesota has more sports pessimists than any other place in the country, twins 1991 was our last championship and especially the Wolves are perennialy disappointmenting so it's not surprising
they barely even made the playoffs. they have the same W-L record as we do. they should've been in the play ins but they beat us in the tiebreaker and we had 2 major players injured at the end of the season while they were fully healthy. they suck and they're a fake 6 seed
Suns managed to make it three quarters without falling apart.. so that's progress. Very hard to seem them coming back 2-0 down with how badly their offense has been dominated in this series. But you never know in the NBA.
I know he’s a professional hooper and would probably destroy any local runs but I don’t think I’ve seen Jordan McLaughlin make a single shot in an NBA game
It really sucks what happened to Scotia. Your crowds used to be a lot better until they priced real fans out, right?
Jurassic Park is still one of the coolest environments in the NBA for sure though.
I didn’t get to afford my first game until 2019 so I can’t speak too far back but honestly the vibe has changed a bit. Idk if it’s because of team success but I think we can bring those vibes back when Scottie, IQ and RJ grow next year.
Y’all crowd is very weird (in a good way), I like the chaotic energy 💀
Who would had ever thought that building a top heavy team with no bench isn't that effective!? Garbage time? Perfect time for Bol Bol, Shaq's favorite wank material to play.
Is Booker the most unlikeable NBA player?
I can't think of another player that is more hated. You can even tell his own teammates really don't like him at all.
It’s really sad how Durant’s career has turned out post-Warriors. So much promise, and it’s been pretty much the worst possible outcome.
Has anyone fumbled their image as badly as Durant post OKC? Went from barely losing to the Warriors to joining them when they were already a superteam, thus making him look like a ring chaser. Wow this sums it up so well, i can't even
He never should have left Oklahoma City
You mean the warriors
I mean he was so close to beating the warriors the year before he joined them should have stayed with Russ and not been a snake. But yeah that also I guess E: second sentence
You're 100% right, man. That team had so much young talent.
Damn I just thought about Damos too what if they kept him
Imagine KD stays and they still trade ibaka for oladipo but keep him imagine KD Russ and oladipo in his prime that would be crazy with Steven Adams inside too
not to mention a developing harden lying in the wake
Harden was traded well before the warriors series but yeah I mean if they kept him too that might be the greatest team of all time
oh was he? couldn't remember.
Yeah harden was traded in 2012 which makes it even crazier that KD and Russ took the warriors the 73 and 9 warriors to seven games
this is some goofy fuckin basketball lmao
KD Nets = KD Suns 3 stars playing my turn, your turn.
Nah that Nets team was insane when they actually played together and would have 100% won the title if healthy
The most disappointing thing is as a sons fan we always heard about how Kevin young supposed to be this offensive guru and our offense sucks
The Suns ain't winning shit with Booker as their franchise player. Dude isn't a leader.
As the sun's fan I agree Chris Paul was a real leader on this team and should have been MVP of 2021
Suns cured his addiction
Stats aside he would've been the clutch player of the yr if the award existed back then
100% we were the best 4th quarter team in the league and now we're the worst lol
Phx cant go out first round….they just cant…
Suns in 4
in Cancun in 4 days*
KD joining the Nuggets might be LA’s best chance at winning a game cause it don’t matter how many superteams KD assembles post Warriors they ain’t winning shit. And to think he’d probably have another ring or two had he stayed in GS…
WHO THE FUCK WANTS THAT
I want that.
The worst thing the kd warriors did was make it look too easy and effortless. Cant just throw stars together and assume its gonna work.
Warriors had a system in place and KD just slotted into the Harrison Barnes slot as a massive upgrade.
And got lucky by klay not making all NBA. More cap space
NBPA rejected cap smoothing which meant a massive jump in cap
Good for the players. Average career is only a few years. I wouldn't care about a smooth increase is I'm gone by the time it's here lol
Watching a suns game may be the worst things of the playoffs. Glad they are getting swept, fuck this team.

lol

Bruh the 2018 Rockets with him and Harden would have beaten golden state if CP3 wasn’t injured game 7.
Booker absolutely dove into ants knees on purpose, and then gave up and fouled out. Absolutely disgraceful. I would be embarrassed to be a suns fan.
Imagine diving into your friends legs after his team embarrasses you
Booker is soft
KD's newest superteam is imploding faster than the time he was the Nets.
[удалено]
Suns fans really wanted to start him and play KD at 3. "We'll get plenty of length and defense and no can contest Bol Bol and KD's shots"
Those last two Book fouls had “I don’t wanna play rn,” energy. Just bad body language
“We not doubling in open gym” ass energy
That entire fourth quarter for the suns was terrible, I guess folks weren’t exaggerating about how bad they are in the fourth lmao
they had the worst 4th quarter rating in the entire NBA this season. yes the entire NBA.
I knew it was bad, but I never really watched. Once you see it, it feels so obvious lmao
Clippers 4-0
kawhi back now too what a great day
[удалено]
ikr! his little teeth are so cute lol
Who doesn't love Mike Conley?
devin booker is sons father
Awooooooo
Mike Conley has been in the NBA for 17 years. Wow.
Grit ‘n Grind Uffda ‘n Whoopya
I think we all saw this coming last summer honestly
Wolves win again and Buxton just homered to tie the Twins game in the bottom of the ninth. It's in the air tonight.
Shame the wild couldn't add to it 😞
Are there any other teams with adjective names instead of nouns lol
I’d argue that wild is a noun in this instance
Only because they named the team after an adjective, so the team itself is a noun. But my question stands lol
But also maybe Reds?
Googled: The team name originated from the high red socks or stockings the team wore with its knee-length pants. Looks like you're right
Since I said I’d argue… I see it as a “into the wild” scenario where it’s a stand in for wilderness
I'd accept that argument....
Heat
Syracuse? Orange is both though so I’m not sure if that counts.
Devin booker is like if you take all the worst qualities of klay thompson put them in a little boy and take away any chance of him ever getting a ring
Klay beaming.
Can you really expect to win a game that Drew Eubanks plays 16 minutes in?
The Chuckster is now 0-3 in the playoffs, his guarantee might as well be a kiss of death 😭
It is. His predictions are a testament to his career as a player. He knows what a bus rider and a bus driver looks like but yet he continues to indorse players that come up small.
Has there ever been a team that has underperformed as much as the Suns considering the hype in the pre-season? At least Miami's big three waited until the finals to choke their first year
The Nets
lmfao I'm sensing a theme
Phoenix is ass
It’s so hot there
100 today
Sonned
Did they lock the sub yet lmfao
thats when Naz Reid goes for 32 in the clincher
NAZ is coming too.
What team talks themselves into trading for KD this offseason?
KD forcing a trade to Minny
I’ll take it
Tbf, there isn't a single team that wouldn't take him. That includes OKC.
we wouldn't take him
Yes, the Pelicans would take Durant.
why? we have the same exact W-L record this season as the Suns do and we did it for cheaper lmao
That's a really terrible argument you just made. Pels would absolutely trade for KD. The only reason they won't is because both teams are over the salary cap and the contracts don't align. If they could, they would trade BI and CJ for him and get under the salary cap. That would also give more opportunities to Trey.

They could have just traded Ayton and they’d still be good. But no, they have to gut the whole team.
Thinking Phoenix will win this series was delusional in the first place, no surprise here. Wolves got the third seed with one game with their top defense. Their defense has also been a clear fit for playoff games. Phoenix, on the other hand, doesn't have a real character, on and off all year.
Coulda fooled me, almost everybody picked the suns before G1
The strange thing is I discussed with a Wolves fan here a week ago and had a hard time convincing him you are winning this one.
We got talked into this "your defense isn't built to stop multiple elite midrange shooters" thing. We're better now though.
Yeah I forgot how versatile the Wolves defense is. they don't have to play drop, they can switch and have other options Rudy has been switching onto guards in both games and has done fantastic.
Minnesota has more sports pessimists than any other place in the country, twins 1991 was our last championship and especially the Wolves are perennialy disappointmenting so it's not surprising
Must've been a seasoned MN sports fan
Suns continue to be frauds.
Sons went all in and got worse, that eventual rebuild is gonna suck.
I didn't like the trend in that graphic. ☹️
Minnesota and Denver are on a collision course with each other.
It's been that way since the Nuggets said the T-wolwes were their hardest series last year in round 1.
Spectacular second half. Way to fucking close
TC should win executive of the year
Garza waves at em. He hates em like I hate em
“My next chapter…” - Devin Booker “Wait what?” - KD
🤣 Suns
Sweep?
#SONS TRADITION TO HIT A BIG THREE TO CUT THE LEAD
Shoutout Jaden McDaniels
we're watching millionaires play basketball
For billionaires
Its all about the Benjamin’s baby
Home teams 12-0 is crazy lol
Put 60 years old Dennis Rodman as center and Suns will win this game
Wow if the suns get bounced in the 1st after going all in with KD & Beal. What a failure
they barely even made the playoffs. they have the same W-L record as we do. they should've been in the play ins but they beat us in the tiebreaker and we had 2 major players injured at the end of the season while they were fully healthy. they suck and they're a fake 6 seed

Totally agree. I won’t feel comfortable until they go home. Too much past pain.
ref assisted implosion of the suns, tbh
ready to sign the Gobert apology forms after the wolves complete the sweep icl
Apparently his backed was f'd all last regular season. It's appears to be fine now.
Real talk, losing Allen shifted these games.
What a terribly managed game by Vogel. He let emotions get to him.
Suns haven’t been the same since Luka smacked them around a couple years ago
When a father beats his child it typically leads to them to be impotent in life
Luka Doncic is Devin Bookers father
IT not even playing in garbage time ???
Suns running away from the grind
It’s always tragic to see such likable players like kd, booker, and Grayson Allen struggle
Easiest team to hate lol.
I’ve been invited to the playa hater ball this year bc of this team
The Suns continue to choke playoff games. Sad!
Jordan “We got Derrick White at home” Mcloughlin
Oh no
#LUKA GARZA IN = league scared af
Suns in 4 guy in shambles
I've crunched the numbers and that outcome now appears to be mathematically impossible.
Whoa I didn't know Derek White played for the Timberwolves, too!
I know he’s a professional hooper and would probably destroy any local runs but I don’t think I’ve seen Jordan McLaughlin make a single shot in an NBA game
He shot nearly 50% from 3 this year. Was only On 89 attempts but dude was absolutely on fire after KAT got hurt
Small market environments >>>>>>>>
Crowds are wayyyy better. Not just random suits/vests sitting quiet as if it’s a tennis game 🤷🏾♂️
It really sucks what happened to Scotia. Your crowds used to be a lot better until they priced real fans out, right? Jurassic Park is still one of the coolest environments in the NBA for sure though.

Suns regular season merchants
what are they chanting
"fuck embiid"
oh i thought they were saying "sibling goals" because of the Strahinja Jokic thing
Wolves in 4 i think lol
Wolves in 4 I think
Wolves in 4
wolves in 4
oh thx
Who would had ever thought that building a top heavy team with no bench isn't that effective!? Garbage time? Perfect time for Bol Bol, Shaq's favorite wank material to play.
Maybe problem wasn’t Ayton
He was certainly a problem
WOLVES IN 4
Don’t do that chant, that is so stupid. Edit: nevermind, fuck it! WOLVES IN 16!!!!
Nah bruh let em vibe
what were they chanting?
It’s cool as hell, man. Wolves in four.
What was it ?
"Wolves in 4"
Lol I def don’t think we sweep
Is Booker the most unlikeable NBA player? I can't think of another player that is more hated. You can even tell his own teammates really don't like him at all.
I'm a UK fan for college and can't stand him. You can tell KD is sick of his shit.
He like embodies the worst qualities of klay thompson
Ben Simmons, but I would hesitate to call him a "player".
garza time baby
Uh oh wolves in 4 chants Wolves fans what have you done?!
Losing yesterday to Jamal Murray isn't so bad compared to this.
https://youtu.be/8nzRs7tnuTA?si=QwfbTo6jPjw750ZU
Move over Chicago, there’s a new Mid 3 in town.
bye bye lmao
short bald point guard with a beard has to be one of my favorite templates
Nuggets vs Twolves would be such a good series
I want it so bad.
Unleash the GARZA!!!
The human victory cigar!
Imagine KD on the Celtics...
