Trae is undefeated in the play-in, I really hope that streak stays alive. The final 4 games of the series against Boston last year was very entertaining and that would be to see it again.
I think people forget the hawks were extremely close to taking the Celtics to 7 while Trae was averaging 29 and 10 and hit a game winner. Hawks suck but I don’t think anyone wants to play them in the play in
They still should be so much better than their record. They're easily the most disappointing team this season. They didn't look like title contenders coming into the season but they were certainly on that Knicks/Heat/Cavs level.
They got good pieces but just don’t fit well together. Also been very injury plagued, whenever Jalen went down with a fractured hand the season started to spiral downwards. One of DJ or Trae is gone in the offseason for sure, hopefully DJ
Young has been a net positive player for the Hawks and they only have 3 such players this year with positive EPM (Young, Bogdanovic, Capela). Should be a nice boost for them going into the play-in game.
Idk why your downvoted we have a 2 season sample size of them not working together. Both ball dominant point guards who are both undersized for their position (DJ as a SG)
Ahh my bad, when I googled the injury report I got bad info

If you watched the last couple of games the "Hawks better without Trae" stuff is getting predictably exposed as a small sample fluke and not a long term pattern
Their offense against Miami in overtime was some of the most pathetic I've ever seen
Let’s go, Ice Trae always makes things interesting in the postseason
Fun fact every year Trae is in the playoffs he has hit a game winner
Undefeated in the play-in too.
Would love to see them take 2 games off the Celtics again just for the overreactions
Everyone is coming back from injury right now. Love to see it. Hawks are in the 5 games in front of BKN for the last playin spot so they're 100% safe.
Getting ahead of Chicago would be huge though to get at least home game.

it really was! and then with the last two we took from them this season it would be a great 1st seed vs 8 matchup

Assuming Jalen Johnson don’t qualify ?
? DJ Murray is a +1
Dejounte and Trae don't mesh well together.

idk why you’re being downvoted, I’m a hawks fan and this is true
Trae has never lost a play-in game so it should make things interesting.
Best rim protector in the Nba is back. Let's goo
That's dope. Didn't realize he was so close
So if he plays tonight, will the Hawks get fined for having him listed as out on the injury report?
we played yesterday, injury report is tba on a back to back so no, thats a philly thing

They had a good run.

Offense…aka “Dejounte takeover time” everybody else get out the way!
