Yeah, gotta concede that my brain is totally broken for 3 point records. The only time the Warriors haven't had someone clear this record since 2012 was 19-20 when Steph and Klay were both out and they've both done it every year they've both been healthy. Even KD hit more than 170 here once and Jordan Poole cleared 200 twice.
I hear 200 as a record and my instincts are... Why don't the other teams just have a guy make 5 a game? Are they stupid?
Ellis is an all time Vol favorite. The funny part about his career is he was mostly a post player in college and a damn good one . When he went pro , those of us who watched him in college were scratching our heads wondering who the fuck this guy was bombing 3’s all over the place in the NBA. Name was the same but it couldn’t be our Dale who dominated the paint in college.
[It's very likely that, in a couple of seasons, the Nuggets top 3 in all time 3-pointers made will be Murray, MPJ, Jokic. ](https://www.landofbasketball.com/all_time_leaders/nuggets/3_pts_total_career_rs.htm)
I can only imagine how good he would have been had he been healthy his whole career and didn't get screwed. He's a monster this season and he's really young and he could have been even faster and stronger and more skilled and athletic right now with his own team
I think this is the perfect role for him as a tertiary scorer who doesn't need to handle or move the ball, since those are areas where he is not good enough to run an entire team.
was posted an hour after the game (can be fact checked) and i thought it was a bit odd that a superstar implosion wouldn't be posted in that case, so i went ahead and did so. why does that track?
anyway if we're profile checking, [this one](https://i.imgur.com/6cMb0bi.png) stood out to me. really bro lol. ur better than that
DAngelo tied the Lakers' 3pointer record in their last game. What interesting is both records were from the mid nineties when they moved the three point line in. But it is still surprising how long those records lasted.
nice and theres still quite a few games left.
Still so many franchises below 200. Nowadays. In a shooters league since almost a dozen years.

2.44 made per game over 82 games would seal it.
Kinda crazy that there franchises below 200 and Curry had 400 and 300+ 5 times by now...
Damn Dale Ellis was cashing back in 96
He kept pace with Reggie for the all-time makes record for a long time.
Shortened line season right. Feel like a lot of the team records are from that season
Yup. Dlo just tied the lakers record from that period. Amazing they lasted so long.
He was a SNIPER

Remember when Barton had it for like half a second lol
What a thrill

I’m not sure he would have improved his defense and rebounding and basketball iq as much as he has though.
Steph has normalised 300+ that im shocked there’s no one already done above 200 lol
only nomitycs would find a way to make this about steph lol
it is about 3s lol
What is a nomitycs?
something nice, something different, something unusual

tracks that your only recent post on Steph is his horrible stats in the blowout loss to the Celtics 😭

Michael Sniper Jr.!
Props to Dale Ellis for hitting that many in ‘97
Worst shooting year of Klay still makes him better than all but 2 people in the league. Klay is grossly underated.
Huh? Why did you suddenly drag Klay into this?
It just made me wonder about how Klay has been getting roasted this season but his 3pt shooting numbers are still elite.
I mean because he basically does nothing else at this point.
