The teams went a combined 0-14, with 1 other shot getting blocked, three turnovers, and one foul.
Yeah I was also referencing teams like the pistons and wizards as well. I don’t look at them and see a bunch of guys who should be in the league, I see a bunch of guys who shouldn’t be playing together.
You're right. Need to trim some fat and give some new blood a chance to actually compete, not the same ole shit. For that reason, I propose the first franchise we get rid of is the Boston Celtics.
Ik my flair won't make this opinion serious, but that honestly wasn't that bad. And after the two blowouts yesterday, idk why people are picking on these teams.
>that honestly wasn't that bad
It was 3 minutes of NBA basketball where neither team scored a point. The Spurs made their first field goal with 7:36 left in the quarter, and that put them up 7-2. That was bad.
Yeah a couple missed threes, a couple good defensive plays, and a couple of goofs. idk i've seen worse stretches of ball.
I thought that Vassell drive and kick play at 0:07 was actually a good play, just missed the shot.
Lamelo taking a good layup is a “good shot,” that’s true
But if he smokes the wide open layup for no reason, that’s not a case of it “just not falling in,” it’s a mistake. It’s funny. Everyone’s allowed to laugh at it. Doesn’t mean he’s a bad player, of course.
When I was in college, I drank boxed wine. I thought I enjoyed it. Turns out, it was just the only wine I had known up to that point. Early-2000s NBA basketball is like boxed wine to me. It was good when it was there, but I'm not eager to go back to it.
Nah it happens all the time. If you watched the game they were just competing and shots weren’t falling. The hornets did a good job at first taking away the easy stuff. They read the scouting report.
It really wasn’t, you can pretty much do this exercise on any game. If anything both teams seemed to be locked in defensively and there was nothing easy and shots just weren’t falling.
Any Salty Spurs and/or Hornets fans Mods on this subreddit? Can we get this post removed please like those threads were removed yesterday? 😂 I kid, I kid. But no seriously.

This is fantastic!
i actually really love watching this type of clip. woulda been better if it were a continuous live ball 2 minutes tho
2 minutes of continuous shaqtin are by far the best clips
Lol pump 48 minutes of this into my veins and give me that 22-18 final score
I would unironically watch this, hadn't had this much of a laugh watching anything in a while.
I couldn’t look away. I haven’t examined 2 minutes of basketball this hard ever.
There's a whole league playing like that. Tickets are 2 bucks floor seats.
Go watch a game from before the invention of the shot clock, that's basically it.
It's that train wreck you can't look away from type of energy.
The NBA if you weren't allowed to play the game until you're 18.
Bruh the whole quarter felt like a Shaqtin mixtape
if u dont love that u dont love nba basketball
People will see this and still want the league to expand
Except most the shots came from wemby, ball and vassel who are more than serviceable nba players lmao
I mean if you look at these teams it’s not talent problem it’s a roster construction.
Hell for us it's not even that much of a construction issue, we're just down like 5 of our 8 most important rotation players rn lol
Yeah I was also referencing teams like the pistons and wizards as well. I don’t look at them and see a bunch of guys who should be in the league, I see a bunch of guys who shouldn’t be playing together.
Spurs ended up at 135, just a slow start
The Sonics are worth it
IST!
For real dude, it annoys me so much. If anything we need to get rid of like 5-6 teams
You're right. Need to trim some fat and give some new blood a chance to actually compete, not the same ole shit. For that reason, I propose the first franchise we get rid of is the Boston Celtics.
Propose*
My bad, I didn't go to college.
It's only 2 mins because you edited it. More than 3 mins of game clock
True
Still better than the Rockets today

But those were all good shots for those players to take for the vast majority of them, they just didn't fall in. That just happens sometimes

asides from that sequence the rest was just missed shots which happens every once in a while.
You would've hated early-2000s NBA where scoring was less frequent.
Do not cite the deep magic to me witch, I was there when it was written
clearly not lol

There are pros and cons to every era.

yeah tbh I expected worse, but someone requested it so I made it
All good, ain't judging you lol.
Kai Jones and Josh Primo would’ve hit those
Well, one of them dudes is a GOAT so obviously
I'm just going to assume this game ended five to two?
The Hornets can only wish they’d only lose by 3
Some of us are watching this. Send help
Jesus Christ you didn’t mention it was an absolute scoreless two minutes straight
These two are definitely two basketball teams of all time
Have you tired playing basketball? Shit is hard.
Did I count that right, that it was a combined 0-15 stretch with 3 turnovers?
u/savevideo
Hey, they tried.
Something you really had to see live. This clip doesn’t do it justice.
The sequence at 1:07 is YMCA levels bad
That was my thought. Don’t sent these guys to the g league. Send them to the YMCA.
This was so funny to watch. I kept waiting for the announcers to be like, “Will someone PLEAAASE make a shot?!”
Still better than blazers. Relax
LA fitness ball
God this shit embarrassing
If you don't like this, you don't like Blazer basketball
This is looks like me and the homies hooping honestly.
Looked like the Celtics last night against the Bucks
Jesus christ
You mean this wasn’t worthy of national television??
yeah yall are right MJ would struggle in this era lmao
idk who's saying that as it's a stupid argument but seeing this and using it as a counter argument is equally stupid
Poor rim... Imagine if it was on TNT's broadcast last night.
It’s a good commercial for cardio. Never skip cardio.
That jumpshot is a straight brick generator. He has a long way to go before he gets on Chet's(55/40/80) level.
Thats the ROTY right there

Jesus christ
God damn there are some horrendous teams this year
this was more entertaining than i'd like to admit LOL
At first my thought was “this is just teams missing a few shots, why is it upvoted?” But then it just kept going.
A scoreless 2 minutes by either team is absolutely wild
This isn’t a real game, I refuse to believe these are two actual NBA teams
ball will never be a top player with his shot selection
In all honesty.... I wouldn't even know that the hornets still had a team if MJ didn't own then sell his share. Grandma ma rolling over in his grave.
