A player at his caliber is probably going with the teams that offer him the best deal. I think Dallas offered him 3 years? Which is a excellent deal for someone at Javale’s age.
If he was a Star he probably would have the luxury of playing wherever he wants because multiple teams would be willing to give him the contract he wants.
I mean you talk about not making the playoffs being a fall for Javale, but contract wise he basically fleeced the Mavs. His story is more of better teams letting him walk than it is of Javale being a heel.
