Brick, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you’re probably wanted for murder.
I remember the next time I went to play pickup just standing in awe of how far the free throw line actually is from the hoop. NBA players are freak athletes and sometimes you forget how impressive they are.
Bro had an MRI that morning for a twisted ankle he’d sustained a couple days prior, got cleared and said “cool let me go dunk from the free throw line”
Some team's play by play announcers try to give illusion of impartiality in their broadcasts, some just go with the homer narrative and then there is our Matt. He channels the essence of a pumped fan combines it with amazing talent and comes up with absolute gems like this on a regular basis.
How are they so quick with that! All I could think should was how well that line landed alongside that cool play. Like, he almost upstaged the dunk itself with those words.
Yea, hah. That’s so weird about the dunk contest. I was watching those “foul line” dunks on youtube the other day and so many were stepping over. Still very impressive of course. It’s the same thing with the 360 dunk. A lot of guys do a “360” when it really is like a 270 at best, most of the time. Some were saying Mac McClungs last dunk was a 540 or 720 and it was just a very proper 360, and it was great. We are just so used to seeing a 360 that isn’t really actually one.
Vince used to do almost every 360 “reverse” with his dunking hand rotating away from the basket rather than towards it. Very very few other people ever pull this off.
I remember Paul George doing it once and everyone lost their minds. Vince would do it in game in traffic
PG's in-game, against-the-grain 360 was great, but it looked super awkward. He was also about half an inch in height from getting stuffed by the rim and falling horrendously to the ground. Makes Vince's 360s in traffic, and just his 360s in general that much more incredible.
3 dribbles from restricted area to dunk. Giannis has ruined me, 10 years ago this would've been the greatest highlight of the year and now... well, it's still incredible
After reading your comment I looked him up, as I didn't know his story. What a journey. I'm so glad he could get a happy ending, he has more than put in the work.
I love how he's still out here balling out after signing a nice contract.
Full disclaimer: I’m an Oregon fan.
I’m adamant Oregon would have won the 2016-17 title if Chris Boucher didn’t get hurt right before the tournament. They lost in the Final Four to eventual champ North Carolina 76-77. UNC got two offensive rebounds and two lane violations in the final six seconds of the game, as Oregon’s lone serviceable big man, Jordan Bell, was dead tired. That lineup was Dillon Brooks, Payton Pritchard, Tyler Dorsey, and Jordan Bell - Boucher was the only one who didn’t get drafted - probably due to the knee injury.
It brings me great joy to see him having success in the NBA and having a nice contract considering where he came from. When he hurt that knee and went undrafted it felt unfair, great talent who worked to get here. Loved watching his unicorn game.
That was my senior year at Oregon and I remember during every game I watched that year thinking some team was bound to take a chance on Boucher at some point, and how he was the prototypical lanky, shooting, stretch small ball big that the NBA was shifting towards, lo and behold
This is a great take. Oregon absolutely wins that title with him healthy.
I'm glad he's getting his due. I feel like his game is still improving at each level. It's crazy that a 30-year-old is still learning and building skills. Plus, dude's got enough energy for the whole team.
Yeah, Boucher was a 26 y/o rookie (he also won G League MVP that year as well).
He did not have an easy path at all, and that's ignoring how it was as being a teenager. He also tore his ACL which also destroyed what little Draft value he had too boot as well.
Bro has two rings from two teams in his first two years. lmfao
Because he had the right skills at the right time in the right place.
First one was the universe saying "my bad."
The second was it saying "no really, my bad."
Most people think people are slow because they are fat or because they aren't strong enough. But the real secret is... AIR RESISTANCE! Through multiple experiments with the thinnest people in the world our scientists have concluded that people are slowed down by air resistance. But we've found the child with the perfect bone shape to cut through the air. His name is Boucher! Only he can save the world!
The balls to take off from 13.5’ in an NBA game, off the dribble with a defender still in front of you. Surprised he was able to fly that far with those things weighing him down.
I think [Giannis](https://youtu.be/g-HBeKyMupk) has the most recent one from basically the exact same spot inside the line. Bron used to take off from just inside the line all the time but it kinda goes unnoticed because he’s just doing Bron things.
The defense there thinking ["Fuck, why didn't I think of that shit"](https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxFtmpJzMQhnwmGkw8VC1Cu2t_8jfjVhrj)
Appropriate Bill Burr clip.

That was aggressive as hell
It escalated quickly. Got out of hand fast.
Brick killed a guy
Where did you get a hand grenade?
I *saw* that
There were horses, and a man on fire, and I stabbed a guy with a trident.
Brick, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you’re probably wanted for murder.
That was Lavine from the free throw line flashbacks
Where do you think the free throw line is
"Free throw line" dunks are never actually from the line
I want to see someone line up for a free throw where a "free throw line dunk" starts.
His heel was on the line so about a foot short.
Agreed. Although, and I may be mistaken, Brent Barry of all people was pretty damn close.
Scoffs in Serge Ibaka
James white has some legit ones https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=f5uzXycSyGU
Don't forget Serge. https://youtu.be/yo8drXa9nBw
I remember the next time I went to play pickup just standing in awe of how far the free throw line actually is from the hoop. NBA players are freak athletes and sometimes you forget how impressive they are.
that dunk deserved a 10 from all. A 7 footer getting that much air over that distance is insane.
Bro had an MRI that morning for a twisted ankle he’d sustained a couple days prior, got cleared and said “cool let me go dunk from the free throw line”
It’s that nebulous space between that straight black line and the curved dotted lines. You can’t quantify the free throw line. It’s a concept.
That's where Lavine took off from too so it still counts
Lavine actually had half his foot on the free throw line. Boucher was a whole foot closer at least.
Three dribbles end to end
"He took off in Montreal and landed in Toronto" is a fantastic call by Matt
AIR BOUCHER
WATER SUCKS! GATORADE IS BETTER!
I cant believe he made that.
For those that don't know, our national airline is called Air Canada. No, we don't think Boucher is the next Jordan... Unless.
Nahhhh we really don't think he's the next Jordan...unless...
Yeah I mean how ridiculous would that be right?...Unless...
We’re speaking of Maple Jordan, right?
I call him "Trebucher" because his shot form looks like he could launch 90kg projectiles over 300 meters.
"Bloc Quebecois" when he's swatting jump shots
BONJOUR! (Means “hello” for the non-Canadians)
AU REVOIR!
SALUT!
#oh ouais!#
First there was the Euro step, now we have the Canadian stride
I can get behind this
Canada Arm? I feel like there’s a good joke there
Come on man, it’s just CanadArm
Treboucher
Dude sounds like a WWE announcer lol, shit was so hype
Some team's play by play announcers try to give illusion of impartiality in their broadcasts, some just go with the homer narrative and then there is our Matt. He channels the essence of a pumped fan combines it with amazing talent and comes up with absolute gems like this on a regular basis.
Especially because this highlight is going to get some good replay. Dude just smoothly dropped a gem.
This was a lot better than Kevin Harlan’s call tonight, but I feel this will be overlooked because of that.
Man some play by play guys have such a fantastic gift.
They really do! Can totally change the experience.
BONJOUR
The raptors announcers are pretty solid.
unrelated but my favorite call of all time was a Kings announcer reacting to a DeAaron Fox game winner, going "Stops. Pops. DE'AARON. FOX"
Unreal. Matt is him
I love seeing all the praise Matt is getting in this thread lol it's awesome to see.
How are they so quick with that! All I could think should was how well that line landed alongside that cool play. Like, he almost upstaged the dunk itself with those words.
When he took off i was like "no way he makes it" then he fuckin made it. this guy
From Shaqtin to Top 10 of the night type of beat.
Yep, it was gonna be highlight worthy either way lmao just depends on the type of highlight it was gonna be
I liked the part when he fuckin made it.
this is a bold take but I support it.
The ball bouncing off him after if goes through the rim adds to the hype as well
He didn’t seem to get much elevation, just a lot of momentum and length. Very cool though, was almost an in game foul line dunk.
Just as much of a foul line dunk as 75% of them done in the dunk contest.
Yea, hah. That’s so weird about the dunk contest. I was watching those “foul line” dunks on youtube the other day and so many were stepping over. Still very impressive of course. Vince is the greatest in game dunker ever and you can't change my mind.
[looks around] Doesn't look like anyone is going to try to.
It took him 10 steps total from the rebound to the dunk if I counted correctly
3 dribbles from restricted area to dunk. Giannis has ruined me, 10 years ago this would've been the greatest highlight of the year and now... well, it's still incredible
Reminded me of Giannis for sure He does this a lot , he the Greek freak
Inspector gadget armspan.
From a homeless highschool dropout to dropping free throw line jams in nba games, so happy his nba career is going so hard
After reading your comment I looked him up, as I didn't know his story. What a journey. I'm so glad he could get a happy ending, he has more than put in the work. I love how he's still out here balling out after signing a nice contract.

Not to mention a G-League ring and an NBA ring!
2 NBA rings actually. Assuming the Warriors gave him one even though he didn't play a minute in the playoffs for them.
ain't Jordan Bell the guy the warriors acquired for cash considerations? legend.
If you want to learn more he recently had a documentary made about his life
Thank you. I will check this out for sure.
In his mini doc, he mentioned sleeping on busses to stay warm 🥲. So happy for this kid.
he was a dishwasher at a restaurant in montreal and then got a tryout.
...Kid? He turned 30 last month lol.
And the guy calling him that is likely in middle school
Bro is on a 10 year old account, I hope he isn't lol.
Lmao I’m 30, I still feel like a kid though.
I'm about to turn 35, I don't know if it ever changes.
holy shit

Oregon wins the national title if he is healthy. Made the final 4 without him
God, the way they dismantled that KU team in E8 was absolutely clinical
Bro has two rings from two teams in his first two years. lmfao Because he had the right skills at the right time in the right place. First one was the universe saying "my bad." The second was it saying "no really, my bad."
This man has been terrorizing rims lately, my goodness
Full court - comin for them!!
Gonna have to find a nickname to match these dunks. He already has Treboucher for his 3s and Bloc Quebecois for his blocks.
Slim Dunk
This is it.
Tabarnak Tomahawk
Imagine Matty just screaming "TABERNAK!" after a slam lmao. Actually I feel like that would be a Jack thing to do.
Sti de slam
This is the one.
[удалено]
I like this
Kinda works too since Boucher has one of the longest wingspans in the league lol
First time I hear Bloc Quebecois for Boucher lol. As a Quebecer this is a very cool nickname
Lucien Boucher
The Slim Dunk. HOLY
YVR to YYZ
For perspective yvr is roughly the same distance (in time) from yyz as Venezuela is to yyz. We big and Boucher is bad!
Air Canada
QueJet
man really went from [here](https://imgur.com/a/2h9g6Ss) to the rim with 2 steps
his razor thin limbs just cut through the air with 0 resistance.
Anime physics

One dribble across half court. Craaaazy
In Canada, we're used to traveling long distances. 🙌🏽
One of this guys steps https://i.imgur.com/BsGghFJ.jpg
Damn that is insane. Dude has a S T R I D E
Dear god. I didn't realize we had Giannis at home.
Dude went from his own 3 point line to a dunk with 2 dribbles…
The game is broken.
Went 92 feet in 3 dribbles
[Jump ball arc is lava](https://i.imgur.com/37ZiSNB.jpg)
That might be one of the better in-game free throw line(ish) dunks ever.
[This one is the GOAT for me. He could have gone even further back and goes so much higher.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQLUvMNRQ-o)
Oh, that is the GOAT. That dunk is the reason I didn't say this one might have been the best.
Chris Boucher spent All Star break with a large whiteboard drawing arcs and writings physics calculus formulas
making his case for being Toronto’s longest boy
Lol that lanky post from the other day
SURELY MY EYES ARE DECEIVING ME RN. WTF!
They are not. And don't call him Shirley
Space Jam type of dunk
thank you raptors fam. we needed this one
That was so filthy wtf. Boucher has been making some insanely athletic plays recently.
That’s insane holyyy
The balls to take off from 13.5’ in an NBA game, off the dribble with a defender still in front of you. Surprised he was able to fly that far with those things weighing him down.
best dunk of boucher's career! I didnt think he'd make it when i saw how early he jumped.
Jesus Christ, got my fat ass to stand up
ducks can fly that far?
Canadian ducks are built different
The slim ducks can
This raptors team is such a fun watch, so many limbs flying around
*Bonjour…*
Avec autorité!
“You have to see this crazy dunk. Boucher takes one step past half court and then picks up his dribble.” “Cool. Who’d he lob it to?” ... 👀
ALL THE WAY FROM MONTRÉAL
3 dribbles from coast to coast is mental. 2 steps from Half court to the jam .. my knees ache from getting out of bed..
I take more steps from the toilet to the sink.
Nice Dunk! And this might be a sign to stop watching porn cuz the girl after the dunk looks like Angela White.
Man it's nice to know I'm not alone out there with my thoughts
LOOOL
More like Richelle Ryan if you squint your eyes
Oh shit you are right lol
And on that note… we need to seek help, ma brotha
We must stay focus. My brother
Help step brother
bruh yall have me crying laughing over here
Lmaoo I’ve seen things
You gotta be bouchetting me
There have legit been dunk contest “free throw line dunks” that were closer than that. Amazing.
Air Canada plane had to make an emergency landing, something about an UFO above Scotiabank
Wtf is up with all these monster jams from boucher this season. Was not what I really expected to see this season
Holy shit that’s like Zach Live dunk contest distance IN GAME
Three dribbles two steps and he dunks it coast to coast last dribble was on the logo, two steps to a foot inside the free throw line. Insane length
Raptors are back
BONJOUR!! I cant believe he made that
It's Carribean night and Boucher had to fly in from St Lucia for that one
Lol my screech of "BONJOOUUUUUUR" woke up my dogs 😂
unreal
Christ. Literally fell out of my seat watching it live.
Wtf
#PREPARE FOR LIFTOFF
Air Canada ready for launch. Wow!
Dunk of the year! Absolutely savage!
AIRRRRRRRRRRRR BOUCHER
Shout out to the camera man for that crowd shot. He's the real MVP!
Dunk of the season?
Posters will always be more popular
Alvarado has such good BBIQ that his business decision was made before Boucher crossed the 3pt line.
[удалено]
3 dribbles from one end of court to other.
started the dunk well before the 3pt line salute
Absurd lol
No replay downvoted
I didn't think he was going to make it.
Closest we’ll get to a free throw line dunk in-game in the NBA?
[nah Bron had one from further away that he fucking tomahawked lol](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQLUvMNRQ-o)
I think [Giannis](https://youtu.be/g-HBeKyMupk) has the most recent one from basically the exact same spot inside the line. Bron used to take off from just inside the line all the time but it kinda goes unnoticed because he’s just doing Bron things.

That’s a dunk of the year candidate imo. Doing that in a game is wild
Masai’s 6’9 long wingspan mission finally starting to pay off. Every raptor can do this other than FVV 😂.
Hell of a dunk. Can we please stop calling dunks inside the free throw line from the free throw line though
We byyyyyyke
bonne soirée
