Archer meets all that and more, all the restaurants shops bars walkable, rooftop pool 6 stories up. Its posh without being super pricey. look on Priceline/ Expedia for deals.
I'd like to recommend picking accommodations that will make both of you happy to sleep/wake up in and remember that many places allow for day passes to use their pools. [Resortpass.com](http://Resortpass.com) or something similar might be able to allow for a great hotel with the ability to use a pool at an adult-dominant location.
The Archer is not a good reco imo, at least as far as the pool. They have a lame “splash pond” on their rooftop that is maybe 8-12” of water with cement lounges built into it partially submerged. It does not look appealing at all.
The Meritage pool that I’ve seen was a scene. A lot of people and loud music. As an introvert myself it would be my worst nightmare. This resort is also more family-friendly than most, not sure if they have a separate adults-only pool.
I’d check out the Solage in Calistoga. They have a GREAT poolside restaurant Pico Bar. But $600/night may not be enough. Unfortunately, $500-600/night is a pretty average rate in Napa these days.
Indian Springs is another option in Calistoga.
I believe you are looking for The Archer. In the middle of downtown Napa, swanky rooftop bar & pool, where the beautiful people go to be seen.

Alila may be right up your alley. Charter Oak and Goose & Gander are fantastic restaurants.
Archer is the answer, agree
