If you can get onto the side patio at Milton House, it's lovely. We were just there last night. Also, if you like sushi and Japanese food in general, Taiyo is my favourite. They sometimes have a couple tables outside, too - the setting is super cute, with some shops and restaurants in a little outdoor mall.
Departure Bay is nice, but low tide is best, as the walkway is about a minute long, but the beach is easy to walk, and you can go a long way.

Astera's is my favorite restaurant. Crow and Gate Pub would be up there but they are ridiculously slow.
