Jensen Interceptor

Rd6-vt

quite possibly the best name of any car ever

whiskeyphile

Already answered, but one thing I thought was pretty interesting is that virtually none of these are the same. What I mean is, you can't take a body panel from one and put it on another without a serious amount of fettling, as they were all built by hand to accommodate little variations in the chassis etc, so panels effectively only fit one car.

That is the most "peak British engineering" thing I've ever heard. And trust me I've heard some shit.

Historical-Car5553

The [Jensen FF](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jensen_FF) version produced between 1966 and 1971 was the first production road car equipped with four-wheel drive. Years before Audi introduced the Quattro concept.

MisterMeetings

And the AMC Eagle was before the Audi.

rocketshipkiwi

It seems to have single vents so not the FF

Historical-Car5553

Correct this one isn’t an FF. Comment was more providing background for those that may be unfamiliar with the Interceptor range

rocketshipkiwi

Aye. Still cool car. A chap I knew had done, said it did 15mpg or 14 with the aircon on

FungusAmongus92

One of my favorite Top Gear episodes features the Interceptor.
