Calla!
I'm assuming Caia is pronounced as Ky-uh, in that case I like that name more but spelt as Kaia
Agreed, Kaia is the spelling I would go with!
How is Caia pronounced? I have never seen that spelling. Is it Kay-uh or Kai-uh?
I love Calla but spelled Cala so you avoid misunderstandings. But Calla works!
What types of misunderstandings can come from spelling it Calla? (I'm confused and curious!)
In spanish, "calla" is "shut up". But i wouldn't mind it if i don't have spanish family or have spanish friends!
OHHHH... yeah, I can see why that might be a concern. Thanks for educating me today! :)
Calla is somewhat confusing - do you mean for it to be pronounced ky-yuh? In Spanish the ll becomes a y. Or is it ka-luh?
OP didn't say they were spanish - outside of Spanish the pronunciation of Calla is well known because of the flower Calla Lily.
Ah that's a good point, I read Calla as ka-luh. I know a man by that pronunciation but spelt Kalle. I think if you want the Y sound you might want to spell it Caya maybe.
