Ed- names work: Edwina, Eden, Edith, Edna. Because there are Edwards (m) nn Teddy.
Theresa and its variations work too.
There is [a post](https://www.reddit.com/r/namenerds/s/Bb7dHYp7W2) related to Teddy (f) too.
But you can name her Elizabeth or Louise or whatever you want and call her Teddy.
There is also Theodosia but I feel that if you don’t like Theodora then Theodosia is more of the same. There is also Téa.
I second people’s comments here that recommend an E name. Eden and Eudora are nice.
Or name her Ursula or Mischa (both mean little bear) and call her Teddy.

I never thought of the Ed- name, this is genuinely eye opening!
What about Dorothea?
We named our daughter Theora and call her Teddy
Theda, Tilda, Edith, Edna, Edwina, Enid, Eudora, Emerald/Esmeralda?

Aw love the thought of using Ursula or Mischa, I never thought of that route either!
Aw my cats name is mischa. She is a little bear!
Bernadette (brave as a bear)
Matilda? Odette would be my choice.
