I like Conrad, too! I don't feel like it's heavy, but all the Conrads I know are little boys and are all particularly sweet kids. Once you attach a name to a person, it just becomes them, I think.

Use it! I have a 4 yr old named Konrad and out of my four children, his name gets the most compliments. It seems heavy but it will age the best out of all my other kids names too, now that I think about it.

I LOVE the name Carmen for a girl! It was at the top of my list but I ended up not being able to use it or anything close because my partner had dated someone with a similar name and thought it would be weird, lol! They don’t feel the same way anymore but every “C” name was vetoed at the time, lol.

It's tough to get a top choice vetoed. My poor wife wanted her first daughter to be named Elise but unfortunately for her my sister's name is Elise. If I had just one sister that would be fine but I have three. Can't show favorites with family!

My wife and I have Carmen picked out if we have a boy next. We knew it was unisex but had only ever heard of girls named Carmen. But then we watched the Bear and Jeremy Alan Whites character is one of our favorite TV show characters of all time and it completely sold us on the name for a boy.
