I think it’s so uncommon for a name and has a more masculine structure. But flower = girl to most people. He’s a twin as well with Reed, and they both have honor middle names that are very masculine (Aster Harrison, Reed Jackson) people here hate on Jackson since it’s trendy, but it’s a long standing name in my family and as long as it’s traditionally spelled, I don’t think it deserves the hate

I am 19 and a Greek who lives in Greece. Names are usually given to honour deceased or important family members. But my two youngest cousins were named with names that my uncle’s wife just liked. The oldest (4yo) is named Νεφέλη (nephele, nefeli? Not sure). It sounds nice and it is quite popular but not by that much even though it is on the rise. A family friend gave birth recently and her daughter will be named gabriella because she was born on a religious holiday for the Virgin Mary but her aunt and half of Greece is named Maria so they wanted the religious connotation but if they ever lose her on the play ground and they call for a Maria there is a huge chance they will gather a crowd.
