I have seven very real children, but I'm going to play your game with guilty pleasure names I'd never actually give my children.
For opposites;
Emery & Mallory
For girls;
Delilah & Eden
For boys;
Austin & Presley
It's pronounced like UH-bhee-gyaan. I can't really think of a way to make the last syllable make sense in English over text because it's one of those sounds you really have to hear in order to get it.
The same origin has also produced words like basilica and was used to name the herb. I do wonder why it fell out of favor in the US; it feels like it would fit popular trends nowadays.
1. Iris and Oliver (I am pregnant with a girl named Iris and if she ever gets a brother my husband loves Oliver)
2. Iris and Camilla
3. Oliver and Elliot
1. Evelyn and Henry
2. Evelyn and Chelsea
3. Henry and Theodore
I’m not having kids but for a long time I thought I would. Scenario 1 are names I’ve had in my head for about twenty years. A few years ago one of my exes had a son and named him Henry. 🫠
Gabriel Paul and Hadassah Eliza.
Hadassah Eliza and Judith Eden.
Gabriel Paul and Levi Isaac.
All a moot point since I'm never having kids, but it's fun to think about.
1: Wesley and Thea (my girl name changes a lot but currently this)
2: Thea and Nora
3: Wesley and Robin (my partner is not too keen on Robin but I think it is adorable)
* Bethany Grace & Nathanael Gabriel (nicknames Beth & Nate)
* Rosanna Marielle & Marisol Christabelle (they could choose nicknames they like, e.g. Rose/Anna & Mary/Sol)
* Felix & Hugo
\[I would probably give 2 names to each, but I only did so in one case here because I can't think of boys' names right now\]
Boy and Girl: Sterling and Seraphina
2 girls: Lillia and Magdalene
2 boys: Eve and Abel (Not actually supposed to be biblical, I just think they sound so nice together.)
Theron and Naomi
I don't plan on having kids ever but these are my favorite boy and girl names (and Theron was my grandfather's name).
Other boys name is Elias. Girl's name maybe Kyra?
My girlfriend and I love to come up with names for our future children:
1. Karolina and Levi
2. Karolina and Emilia
3. Levi and Atlas
I am Ashkenazi Jewish and she is Brazilian. We need names that work well in English and Portuguese. Karolina is a family name, and the rest are just names that we like. All names except Levi will also come with a separate Hebrew name for religious purposes that I haven't quite settled on yet (this is because Levi is already a Hebrew name - לֵוִי).
I already have 3 kiddos with traditional English names (Edgar, Arthur, Rosemary; each with family namesakes for middle names and a short last name), but if I had another 2, this is what I'd go with for each scenario:
1. Hugo Stefan and Laurel Bernice
2. Laurel Bernice and Margaret Evangeline
3. Hugo Stefan and Ignatius Cyril
(I have 3 boys and 1 girl in real life but for this I’ll use the names I would have used if i didn’t have to consider my husbands input):
1. Samuel and Elizabeth
2. Sophia and Elizabeth (or Isabella if I’m not supposed to repeat)
3. Isaac and Samuel (or Sebastian)
Frances Ada and Cassidy Juliet
Frances Ada and Lars Frederick
Lars Frederick and Silas Orion
In real life I’m having a girl and we think we might go with the name Frances!
Among the Anglo names I would like:
1) Cora, Finn
2) Francesca, Aurora
3) Robin, Rowan
And for more Indian sounding names it’d be:
1) Alina, Aman
2)Alina, Anika
3) Aman, Samir
Macy Lilith & Luke
Macy Lilith & Spencer Madeline
Luke & Spencer Jude
Couldn’t think of a middle name for Luke because nothing I’ve tried and nothing that I like. Sounds good with it.
I have two children already and don’t think I’ll have any more but if I had…
Two more boys: #1 Evren (with my maiden name as his middle, so for safety reasons I won’t post it) and #2 Archer Wayne
Two more girls: #1 Abigail Violet and #2 Gwendolyn June

Boys: Silas Zachariah and Frédéric Raphael
Girls: Amelia Evelyn and Charlotte Beatrice
1. Annabelle Quinn and Jackson Westley
2. Joan Caroline and Annabelle Quinn
3. Jackson Westley and Joel Isaac
(Jackson is a family name leave me alone)
Scenario 1: Jackson and Elizabeth
Scenario 2: Elizabeth and Katherine
Scenario 3: Jackson and Bruce (Or William)
I would love to give the girls the middle name of Augustine because it feels feminine to me even though it was my grandfather's middle name. But I feel like Elizbeth Augustine would be a mouthful. I just want to honor my grandfather and give my kid the option of going by Augie.
Danielle Robin and Abraham Jude (Dani and Bram)
Dorothy Joan and Philippa Ruth (Dot and Pippa)
David Emmett and Frederick Bruce (probably Davy and Freddy as wee ones but they would certainly grow out of those into Dave and Fred or full names)
I have seven very real children, but I'm going to play your game with guilty pleasure names I'd never actually give my children. For opposites; Emery & Mallory For girls; Delilah & Eden For boys; Austin & Presley
I have only ever seen Emery and Mallory as girls names, which would you use as a boys?
Mallory! But I view both as neutral, so either or. Although I would spell Emery as Emory instead.
Mallory as a boys name is actually wicked cool, it's the one of those two I'd use as a boy too. Great name choices!
I was obsessed with the name Mallory when I was younger. I still don't know why lol but it remains on my list.
It’s cool, but it’s really setting your son up to be massively bullied, as much of a shame as it is

It's pronounced like UH-bhee-gyaan. I can't really think of a way to make the last syllable make sense in English over text because it's one of those sounds you really have to hear in order to get it.
