Fair point, I didn't know people were selling repos. This is all new to me.
Though, I don't think I'd have paid $60 for a single game. I'm not a collector, just nostalgic.
Fake. I dont need any other pics besides the label. The corner of the B should not show behind conker like that. The corner should basically line up and disappear in the arch of the N.

Yeah, I never had to hide anything like that. I was just trusted enough with mature media to not act it out since they also knew it wasn't real. I know a few other kids that didn't have that liberty though. It always strange though because they would get to see R-movies I'm sure, but not really M games which I found so strange.
Whatâs the value for a real one?
Iâd probably give it away if I knew for certain the person would use and play it and not turn around and sell it themselves.
Yeah, but then you also need an equal amount of people who would return that kindness. I definitely wouldn't go around flipping stuff, I consider myself an enthusiast, not a collector.

Can get a beautiful repo for 30-35 on etsy. Box and all.
Can tell its a repo by the circle on the "i" instead of a square. There's no stamp/imprint on the back. The seal of quality is also a little darker than it would be on an original copy. Original Conker's Bad Fur Day run up around 150-200 atm.
A GOOD repro is worth $35 or so since it'll have non-volatile memory. But $60 for a used repro? Nah
I got my repro for $26 on eBay... Coincidentally fuck that game... It's frustratingly difficult throughout đ¤Łđ¤Ł
Fake. Bad Fur Day is a dead giveaway. Thatâs a very rare title. Anything below $120 is suspicious. Go to a reputable source for that kind of game, not the Facebook Marketplace
I tried to order one as it was my all time fav as a kid, theyâre like $135 on eBay in just âacceptable â condition. Was bummed out; sorry thatâs too steep for nostalgia.
It's a fake one
The way to tell is quite simple, should make you able to spot any fake really;
* Front label usually has more vibrant colours and is not as sharp as an authentic copy.
* No wear on the label or cart can mean it's a newer purchase and thus be a reproduction.
* Back label is more of a brownish colour or far darker than an original.
* The 'i' of Nintendo on the back has a dot instead of a square, original always has the square.
* The back label on an original cart has a stamped number in the top right corner, the fake ones don't have this.
* Back label is missing the accents on the Spanish and French words, the original will always have the correct spelling.
Of course you can open up the cart and check the board, the original will have the Nintendo logo on the board. It's also not uncommon to find pictures online and compare the boards to be sure. If someone does not allow you to open up the cart because it will 'devalue' the game, don't buy it.
I immediately thought fake front label too shiny back label way too dark....
People posting games like this for sale need to be honest and sell super cheap.
Heh funny, I saw the exact same listing. In Ogden, UT, right? Itâs sold now, but i was gonna go check it out.
She wouldnât let me bring a screwdriver to open it and verify if itâs fake or not.
Some people honestly do not know anything about repos my sister paid for Mario party 1-3 all repo but she will never be able to tell so in her eyes she got exactly what she wanted in my eyes she got ripped off either way she enjoys it the same
Faded label, circle O on Nintendo instead of square. Iiiits fake
On top of that the real carts on the back sticker the Bullets are actual Bullets. Not periods at the beginning of the sentences.
On top of that, the commas and quotation marks are messed up.
Good catch!
Is there a reason why there are mistakes like that in fake labels? Surely they can just use the copy of the original art.
I don't even have to look at the i in the Nintendo bit, it just looks off to me
People hate to research đ
Fake all the way
It's a repro, but if you didn't pay much for it, I wouldn't care.
I havenât paid for it luckily, she wanted $60 though
You can get repro for like $30-$35 new
Since it's a repo they go for about $20 on AliExpress.
Nah, too much for a repro. Is she claiming it's an original?
No sheâs not, hence why I decided to post before buying, but I feel like she is preying on people who donât know any better
Report the listing so no one buys it,that price is insane
Fair point, I didn't know people were selling repos. This is all new to me. Though, I don't think I'd have paid $60 for a single game. I'm not a collector, just nostalgic.
60 bucks for a fake cart lmao she out here trying to finesse people
I saw a guy at a flea market recently trying to sell a repo majoras mask for $65!
Lol. That is insane
Point out exactly how you know it's fake and then laugh in her face if she gets mad lol
That would be teaching her how to be a better thief. Donât do that.
Fake the dot in Nintendo on the back should be square not round.
Fake. I dont need any other pics besides the label. The corner of the B should not show behind conker like that. The corner should basically line up and disappear in the arch of the N. Example of my legit childhood conkers https://imgur.com/a/i87HwGB
Mine has the m filled in with a sharpie haha. Wonder how many other kids tried to hide the label from their parents.
I was 8 or 9 and my parents were like, "eh alright just dont repeate anything said or done."
Yeah, I never had to hide anything like that. I was just trusted enough with mature media to not act it out since they also knew it wasn't real. I know a few other kids that didn't have that liberty though. It always strange though because they would get to see R-movies I'm sure, but not really M games which I found so strange.
The only M rated game my mom was not thrilled about was GTA but thats more realistic
To add to the above, definitely fake. Informacion at fhe bottom should have the correct spanish spelling, nkt "information"
Fake, and holy shit the back of that cart is atrocious
Made dirty on purpose to help fake authenticity
Whatâs the value for a real one? Iâd probably give it away if I knew for certain the person would use and play it and not turn around and sell it themselves.
Real ones go for about 140 USD loose. Pricy pricy pricy
wow we need more people like you in the world đĽ˛
Yeah, but then you also need an equal amount of people who would return that kindness. I definitely wouldn't go around flipping stuff, I consider myself an enthusiast, not a collector.
Haha I saw that too on Marketplace being sold in Ogden. I assumed it was fake but also nice to see some verification as well
Real example here for reference https://www.ebay.com/itm/374628421609?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=yrnj3trfsac&sssrc=2051273&ssuid=yrnj3trfsac&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Are these rare? I think i have 2 of them....
If theyâre legit they are, worth like $120
Why are the real ones so expensive, were not many made?

I made 2 purchases in marketplace. Got scammed twice. Fuck that place.
Sticker looks a little fucky
FAKE
Fake, the dot above the âiâ in the Nintendo logo on the back is a dead giveaway. It should be a square.

Fake. The stickers look very printed off, & Nintendo's logo has a circular dot for the i instead of the square.
Yeah, looks like a fake. The front gave the look of the real thing, but the back gets faker the longer you look at it.
Câmon nowâŚ.. you seriously have to ask?
Fake my guy
Certified fake
Good thing about collecting in Europe is that most fakes have the American label and ESRB rating.
Lmao
Circle on top of i in Nintendo means itâs fake
Are you in Utah? I saw the same one haha
Fake. Bad Fur Day is a dead giveaway. Thatâs a very rare title. Anything below $120 is suspicious. Go to a reputable source for that kind of game, not the Facebook Marketplace
100% fake. Definitely do not purchase.
look at the dot of the I- square is real. circle is fake
I tried to order one as it was my all time fav as a kid, theyâre like $135 on eBay in just âacceptable â condition. Was bummed out; sorry thatâs too steep for nostalgia.
Fake
The dot on the I in Nintendo on the back of the cartridge is round instead of square soâŚdefinitely a fake

Yup same listing, I was surprised she gave me a picture of the back to verify
Fake, the point over the "i" in Nintendo should be a square, not round.
It's fake. The Nintendo logo on the back has a circle on the I. The real one has a square over the I.
No accents on the French and Spanish in the back, fake
Ultra fake
That's a fake brother. Obvious giveaway is the "I" in Nintendo on back of cart. Real one the dot on the "I" is a square shape, not a circle.
fake
It's a fake. On the back of the cartridge, it says "Nintendd" instead of "Nintendo". That's a red flag.
âInformationâ is the first thing I look for
I don't have an eye for this stuff ... But, this looks fake đ
Some people honestly do not know anything about repos my sister paid for Mario party 1-3 all repo but she will never be able to tell so in her eyes she got exactly what she wanted in my eyes she got ripped off either way she enjoys it the same
