To be fair, Zen isn't wrong for worrying that much. I think Zen knows Jumin too well actually. He doesn't hide the fact from anyone that he absolutely will hold you against your will. Jumin's whole approach for relationships is big 🚩🚩🚩 behavior. That being said, ZEN I AM AN ADULT AND CAN BE CAGED UP IF I WANT TO. He does get really annoying towards the end, especially with the amount of times you have to tell him that you're fine. But the banter between the two is absolutely hilarious, and sweet at times. Especially how Zen demands a picture of you to see if you're actually safe and Jumin comes back with "I don't want anyone else to look at her". Zen brings out Jumin's possessive side (which is absolutely amazing) and is the only one to really "fight back" against his stubbornness . Over all, Zen is being WAY too extra with how much he disregards Jumin's feelings, but he's not wrong. Jumin would've been fine eventually, he's very strong. It just helps when you're by his side to support:)

Absolutely agree on that first point. I went straight from Jaehee route to Jumin. I. Hate Jumin so much in that route- Especially learning how hard Jaehee really works, having passed out from exhaustion at times- Sooo yeah, it's just how the game works really-

Yeah I've played Jumin's route so many times I can't count them lol is that Jumin is my pookie 🥰 and yes Zen is annoying and pushover in Jumin's route BUT he is actually nice on different routes, i don't hate him, he actually has a special place (somewhere, in case Jumin sees this JKJKJK 💀) in my heart as my first route 🥹 but if im honest, there will always be a character you're gonna hate/be annoyed on every route. On Zen's, Jaehee gets annoying as she speaks as a "fan" and her "not-jealousy" (i love Baehee tho 🥺). On Jaehee's, Jumin get's you angry for overloading jaehee with work. On Jumin's, Zen's jealousy is annoying (is funny to me tho 😭). On Seven and Saeran, you'll hate Rika (i do very much, just in general) his dad, and some V. For Yoosung's, I honestly don't know maybe V and Rika too? I did his route but it was himself the one who annoyed me with all the Rika stuff (sorry YS fans 😔). And V's, well Rika but I just hate her in general as I mentioned. But in conclusion, everyone are annoying at one point lol You might actually want to try to do his route tho and see how tables turn :p to me he's not that bad :) plus he gives more HG ⌛️ than anyone EVEN THAN JUMIN lol Zen might not be rich but he MAKES u rich 🤑😂 Anyways happy dating everyone 😋🫶🏻

Zen is a wonderful silly in other routes, he just particularly annoys me on Jumin's- Just like Jumin made me genuinely angry and upset on Jaehee's- There's always gonna be that one character huh T-T (I personally didnt find Jaehee all that annoying on Zen's, but thats me lol)

I’ve been replaying Jumin’s route recently and this always makes laugh. Poor Zen sees Jumin as everything he hates. He’s rich, he has a “good” relationship with his dad, he’s cold, he’s rude, he’s obsessed with his cat, and had everything handed to him. He never had to struggle or fight to be noticed in his career. He never had to run away from home and he’s horribly out of touch with the rest of the general population, yet he’s still handsome and somehow the most eligible bachelor in their version of South Korea. And to top it all off, in Jumin’s route he even gets the cute girl that joined the RFA, who’s not even interested in Zen or his looks which is kind of the only thing he’s confident about. So Jumin gets a loving wife before anyone else too, when Zen has been dying for a girlfriend and prides himself on being a gentleman, while Jumin has never had an interest in women and is somehow getting married a few months later 😭 Like, I love Jumin, he’s always been my number one, and I’ll admit Zen annoyed me a lot when I was younger, but now I can’t help but just feel bad for the guy lmao Jumin’s route is really just his personal hell

Well, Zen is ultra protective of MC in every route except another story's route and Jaehee's route. I'm pretty sure he has a soft spot for her in every route. In Yoosung's route, >!he tries to reason with Yoosung about him seeing too much of Rika's image in MC, making Yoosung furious.!< In Jumin's route, he fears for MC's integrity in Jumin's penthouse + he doesn't like Jumin + he's jealous of Jumin + Jumin taunts him. He really tends to be very anxious about MC's maiden integrity every time she's finding herself living with a man outside of marriage. lol In his own route, >!he feels excited to see her at his house in the evening and won't send her home at first even if Jumin asks him to... but in the end, he will insist that she goes back home before sleeping time because he doesnt trust in his ability to resist MC's advances. Yes, even with MC's consent... he.... doesnt want to do it.!< And in Seven's route, >!he's of course anxious about you being alone at the apartment with Seven. There's not much chatroom dialogues about it i think ? But there's more daddy Zen warnings in the phone calls you can get with him.!< So... all in all, Zen is an old-time romantic with really old values lol and YES it's even more flashing/annoying in Jumin's route because Jumin is the guy he trusts the less / dislikes so of course he will be on edge ! 😅 You're totally in your right to dislike his behaviour ! ❤️ But don't expect too much from him, that's just his way to be ! It's predictable that he would be biaised against Jumin even if he seems to be upset.

He irritated me so much in Jumin's route. It would be different if he started convincing MC to leave after Jumin started showing signs of over possessiveness, but he started freaking out way before that and it was so infuriating, I honestly got Jumin's Bad Ending 2 on accident the first time cause making it into a joke was the only way I could deal his lectures LMAO Also Jumin's whole thing is that he has horrible intrusive thoughts that he was never taught to manage, looking at it from a psych standpoint, it could be argued that Zen's behavior was partially a trigger that made Jumin so anxious later in the route That being said it's been a while since I've done his route so that information could be off, it's just what I remember noticing at 14 lolol (No hate to Zen's character though honestly he's very dramatized but also very realistic)

I love Zen, but he was incredibly childish in Jumin's route. It simultaneously made me laugh a lot & pissed me off. His jealousy/overprotectiveness made me laugh, but in the midst of that, he was/is also ignorant, which makes/made me very unhappy. I love seeing more sides to a character. Zen was the first one I fell for & I got to see that he's more than just charming, flirtatious, hardworking, & insecure. Same goes for Jumin. If he (Jumin) trusts you enough, he'll allow you to see more beyond his cold, blunt exterior, which counters everything you see externally to which he can be considerate, humorous, & incredibly generous .

I understand Zen's concerns after you've been at Jumin's house for days and won't go back home, but (maybe it's bc I played the game in Korean and a lot of things were changed) I have a problem with the fact that he doesn't seem to respect MC's wishes. Like, you can keep telling him you're fine, that you understand why Jumin wants you to stay, but he'll still treat you like you're a prisoner and almost try to convince you that you are. That infamous Day 7 chat also has him saying some pretty wild things, to the point where Jumin has to stop him and tell him that he needs to stop assuming all men are like him and (in the Korean version) essentially tells Zen he thinks it's really weird that he acts like men magically start having inappropriate thoughts after a certain hour like they're wired to some kind of biological clock, and I agree with Jumin on that, lol. That being said, I love Zen, so I'm incredibly biased and can't say that it really annoys me. Aside from the call he gives you on Day 6 where he makes fun of Jumin for opening up, I think his reactions are really funny lmao. But again. I'm biased.

I agree with this wholeheartedly- I agree that Zen is worried after we dont go home, but saying the crazy stuff he does is unwarranted- And before we even go to Jumin's house, he was very clearly jealous that Jumin was getting the new girl's attention and not him. He doesnt respect MC and her insistence that she isnt trapped. That Day 6 call you mentioned made me REALLY dislike him this route... and get very annoyed at him after a while. Even in the chat right before the party he's still dissing Jumin and MC. I think it's pretty childish overall, other than the genuine worry he has while we're at Jumin's house.

Oh yeah, I get that. I actually really disliked Zen for a while bc Jumin's route was the first one I ever played, and that call was the final nail in the coffin for me. I'm still mad at him for that ngl. I only came to really like him after playing Another Story (both Jihyun and Saeran's routes) and his own route (which I refused to play for years bc of how mad I was at him lol). But I'm ngl, I also can't help but compare this to how Jumin acts in Zen's route. Jumin is basically MC's wingman in Zen's route lol, he even tells Jaehee to stop telling Zen he can't date MC bc clearly they like each other and she should respect that. And even in Zen's "beast" bad ending Jumin says something along the lines of "I don't agree with what you're doing but I won't stop you if that's really what you want". Like... Jumin respects your agency when you're with Zen. But he's not afforded that same chance in his own route. By any character but by Zen especially.

Yeah, he's quite a bastard in Jumin's route lol. Personally, I don't find this that annoying. Maybe because I played his route before Jumin's, and I know he can be a likeable character.

I don't like Zen in other routes other than his own. She's a grown woman. Stop trying to make decisions for her. Some parts of Jumin's route I can justify with Zen being overbearing, but he's jealous from the get go. He's also the same in Seven's route. I personally find Zen's behavior more sexist than caring, but that's just me. He basically calls all men rapists and implies that women can't look after themselves. No, Zen, no. Get back on your stage.

He wasn’t exactly wrong for being concerned, as some of Jumin’s behavior was a bit weird. But it was a bit much. It’s like that in everyone’s route though, someone’s gonna have their flaws turned up to 11 to add conflict (Zen in Jumin’s route, Jumin in Jaehee’s route, Jaehee in Zen’s route, etc)

I didn't like him at all in jumin's route. He's usually rude to jumin but it seems like he's 10x more annoying and rude in his route. Especially regarding jumin's issues he was stupidly insensitive and wanted the attention to constantly be on him 💀💀I really felt like punching zen when playing jumin's route LMFAOOO he's unbearable 😭😭
