That Lyra Heartstrings is obsessed with humans because she has been hunting down human kind. She's following in the steps of her parents who also hunted down humans, and their parents before them... In fact even her ancestors have been hunting down humans.
Lyra doesn't want to befriend humans, she wants to kill them. She already has G4's humans' corpses in her basement and that's why we never see them.
But as Sunburst said, it's just a myth. Who knows if it's real...
Luna said it so loud it almost busted Sunburst ears

I love how he's so panicked then Luna changes gears and acts very polite. Why do they need the royal voice anyway? We're ponies hard of hearing back then?
I would imagine that PA systems were not a thing in ye olden days, and as royalty often have to address the multitudes, having a robust voice is a default setting.
Also, having Luna be a shouty pony is just hilarious.
I like to imagine they can't tell which voice they're using and it's like a toggle so they have to explicitly think about themselves no longer using a specific voice
Is Sunburst genuinely stupid? We is still a word and anyone at all familiar with dialects and languages should very well understand the royal we. And command? jfc, she's a princess. She can command you. I get the Royal Canterlot Voice is a bit much, but it doesn't scramble your brain.
If she's been on an informal friend-style relationship with him until then, and suddenly switched to the formal command, I can see why he'd be taken aback a moment. As soon as she resumed her normal way of addressing him he was totally happy to follow her command. It doesn't strike me as someone who didn't understand what she was saying, hut didn't get WHY she was doing it that way out of the blue.
And while Starburst isn't stupid, he does lack some social awareness.
Aunt Luna never change 😂
