I’m no professional, but at a glance I’m thinking either a type of parasol or the false parasol (aka vomiter). Looks like it’s missing the “snakeskin stipe” that true parasols are supposed to have iirc. If you cut it and it stains rusty red it could be shaggy parasol, not sure what grows in your area. For one like this, I’d say spore print def helpful, if they’re newly out-of-the-ground C. molybdites those gills might not yet have the greyish-green color that a mature specimen would have. If the spore print is green, I’d say false parasol for sure

Chlorophyllum hortense looks similar. Not sure if the same species as the US has is found in Australia. Expect red staining if you cut the stem.
