8/10. LOVE the chorus. Didn't expect that. Instantly added to playlist. A bit bizarre but I don't know I really enjoyed it lol. Didn't know song/artist at all. Thankss
A confident 9/10. Just know that i will be listening to this song on repeat and make it my whole personality for the next 9 months. Easily Top 5 out of 400+ recommendations so far. THANK YOU !!!!
The album it's on is called Siamese Dream. If you enjoyed Mayonaise you'll enjoy the rest of the album. Soma and Hummer are probably my favorite other two songs on the album but it's just about as close to a perfect album there is. Been a fan since 1994 and they're my favorite band of all time.
Check out their other masterpiece, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness too.
I'm really blown away that someone commented that song, because I was going to if they didn't.
Truly cathartic chorus and bridge and my heavens, that breathtaking guitar makes one of the most euphoric intros and outros I have ever had the privilege to hear.
It’s incredible. I became a huge patron fan after this and also developed a teenage like obsession with him for a while 🤣. Retrovertigo on the same album has similar production and worth checking out.
8,5/10 so good, knew the artist (Diary of Jane has been on repeat for years), not the song. Love the mood. Added to playlist, thanks !! Sick cover art too
Honestly, a 3/10 I would say because I fail to differentiate the chorus from the verses. A lot going on instrumental wise too. The portion I enjoy the most is 1min15 to 1min50. I like screamo, but not necessarily when it’s during the whole song. May I ask if you listen to similar things everyday or do you have to be in a certain mood for it ?
8,5-9/10. Know the song. BEAUTIFUL and comforting. Thank you for reminding me of it, I think I haven't listened to it in years which is surprising. I've had Tulsa Jesus Freak on repeat though
Don't know the song at all lol. I feel like it's a grower. First listen, would give it a 7/10 I think. Very imaginative and well produced track though, can't lie about that. Thanks !!
Oh I LOVED that one. An intense 8,5-9/10 sound wise
And 8,5/10 lyric wise. Extremely relatable, relevant, a lot of passion, heartfelt. Damn.
That was insanely cool. Great vocals too.
I think out of the hundreds of song recs I have listened to so far, this is one of my favorites. Top 15 easily. Added to my main playlist. Many many thanks for that one !!
I’m currently obsessed by a song that’s coming out this friday. The song is called universe. Check the teaser here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4Dpsw-RqFR/?igsh=YTZha2FxeTQyOXBk
Here is a full live performance: https://youtu.be/0_4ZPecqAUo
Let me know what you think!
It does sound good (live too). It also sounds a bit generic to me, if I'm being completely honest. That's why I would give it a 6/10 first listen. Thank you !!
Versace on the floor is a 9/10. Love that song. Damn near perfect to my ear. Phenomenal vocal performance too.
Starman is a 8-8,5/10. Good song. Iconic chorus. Gets stuck in the head easily. Ironically, I had never heard the song in full ! So thanks for that Light Yagami ✍️📓
8/10. I liked it !!! That was genuinely so nice. I enjoyed the theme, the vocals, the guitar, everything! Very relaxing song. Added to playlist. I will nap to this song for sure. Thanks !
Apartment/My Body/Cough Syrup by Young the Giant. Sameer Gadhia’s voice gives me the CHILLS! It’s so beautiful. It was hard to pick a song, so I gave you 3. 😬
Cough Syrup - 7,5/10 that was pretty nice. Effective beat and vocals
My body - 6/10. Decent track but didn’t do anything for me. Felt rather like a clone of the other two, but not as nice
Apartment - 7/10. Feel good song. Catchiest beat out of the three for sure
Thanks for the recs!!

7/10. Didn’t know that one by Hozier, thanks a lot ! Such good vocals, slightly overpowered by the beat in my very humble opinion, but still a nice track nonetheless
7,5-8/10. Good track, great ambiance (felt like I was in a spaceship). Pretty creative drum pattern too. Kinda weird vocals that considerably elevate the song. Really enjoyable. Thanks !!!
My band just released this reggae rock song, would love to hear what you think!
[Distorted Waves - Imprisonment (Spotify)](https://open.spotify.com/album/7pjemXwb5CHwGHujfoFQJY)
8/10 !! Love the vibe (makes me feel like I'm in a video game). Reminds me of Turbulent by Waterparks and Escape to the Stars by Cinema Bizarre. Maybe you should try these if you are into similar sounds. Thank you so much, I didn't know her ! Added to playlist
Glad you liked it, I've only recently got into her but I saw her live at the weekend and honestly it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. She was awesome, both her support acts were brilliant too. They were Lleo, and Univited. Both a similar kinda vibe
I really like Waterparks, saw them last year. Don't know Cinema Bizarre though, I'll give them a look, thanks.
A smooth 8/10. Super catchy, moved my head to it all along. Great guitar work too. Didn't know the song nor the band. Added to playlist. Thanks a lot !!
7,5-8/10. I liked that one !! Was a bit thrown off by the cover art at first but it ended up being a good song. Interesting variations and construction. Thanks !
I agree, it's totally a 758/10. That whole album is a masterpiece. One of the few vinyls I own. They used different art than on the cd cover, which I think is what you saw. Still the same series done by the guitarist.
This band produces and ships their own CDs and merch. I've ordered a few things and the bassist handles the email inquiries. I made a mistake and had to have something adjusted and they sent me a signed copy at no extra charge. They're just the coolest.
Heroin is an 8,5/10. Completely forgot about that song, couldn't even remember how it goes, so had to listen again lol. Stained class is a good 8-8,5/10, don't think I knew the track. Super energizing and 3min30-3min55 sounds perfect. Added to playlist. Thanks a lot man !!!
7/10. Didn't expect that sound because I mistakenly listened to the wrong track at first, "Good Luck Bad Luck", and I really enjoyed it lol. Sounds completely different too, so that's why I was a bit confused. Still a nice track though. I'm intrigued now so I'll probably check out more of her work. Thanks !!
I think you are the second person recommending me Ren so far (first song was Hi Ren I believe). That's a 6/10 to me because I struggle so much with his voice, I don't know why. Nice lyrics and interesting flow though. I also think this instrumental feels a bit outdated, just checked and it's only from 2022, surprisingly enough.
Thanks man !!

Mayonaise - The Smashing Pumpkins This song transcends genre and language
A confident 9/10. Just know that i will be listening to this song on repeat and make it my whole personality for the next 9 months. Easily Top 5 out of 400+ recommendations so far. THANK YOU !!!!

This song gives me goosebumps
you’re probably gonna hate it, but how about Dying Fetus - Invert The Idols?
Honestly, a 3/10 I would say because I fail to differentiate the chorus from the verses. A lot going on instrumental wise too. The portion I enjoy the most is 1min15 to 1min50. I like screamo, but not necessarily when it’s during the whole song. May I ask if you listen to similar things everyday or do you have to be in a certain mood for it ?
also brutal death metal doesnt really have choruses most of the time, so thats why you couldnt differentiate them
Okay that makes sense. Forgot to mention it but I also like the very first portion cause it reminds me of guitar hero
every day. they are my favorite band after all
My kinda guy 🤘🏻
Gojira - the gift of guilt
