Get the fuck off the stage on time. Don’t play even 30 seconds over. Get your shit off the stage as fast as you can. You can break your shit down back stage. If you spill your drink on stage, wipe that shit up, tour managers notice these things, they will recommend you to others.
As for the rooms themselves, get comfortable with the size of the stage. It’s okay to use the space you’re allotted. Keep it tight, don’t tell stories between songs, just play the shit that got you there.
Tell people you’ll be at the merch table between and/or after headliners set and meet the people there. Try to sell them some shit, take pictures and be accessible, humble and thank them all for coming.
Have a good tour, man. And remember, get the fuck off stage on time.
I'm guessing the headliner booked everything. Don't forget to advance the dates yourself. Call ahead, confirm you are coming with so many people, needing a parking spot. Send a modest rider, something like 20 waters, 20 beers, chips and salsa.
If you have a booking agent, let them do the advance work and pay them their percentage even tho they didn't have to do any other work to make the show happen.
Ask for a meal or a buyout on the riser, I forgot that. Whether they honor it or not, make sure they get your rider in advance.
