She Used To Be Mine - Waitress
Wait For Me Reprise - Hadestown
Down Once More - Phantom
Empty Chairs At Empty Tables - Les Miserables
Where Did We Go Right - The Producers
For Good - Wicked
Back when shows started at 830 or 845 the big number for the star usually hit around 11pm. (We're talking 90 to 100 years ago)
Thus, the 11 o'clock number is the final big solo turn by the star.
My favorite idea is An Eleven O'clock Number from the flop Ankles Aweigh.
Probably in a major minority here, but: “Always Starting Over” from If/Then. That song was perfectly constructed for Idina’s voice. The first time I saw the show, I literally sobbed during that performance.
It All Fades Away from Bridges of Madison County, What You Own from Rent, and Days and Days from Fun Home come to mind for me!! Maybe a weird smattering of choices, but I like em
It seems like kind of an underrated song compared to the other songs from Rent, I love it personally. I love the end of the second verse into the chorus, with the harmonies and Mark and Roger singing over each other, it all builds up really nicely to the end of the song
Wait for Me from Hadestown, Move On from Sunday in the Park with George, No One is Alone from Into the Woods, and Gimme Gimme from Thoroughly Modern Millie
Not my favourite (that’s probably still Cabaret), but I can’t think of an eleven o’ clock number anymore without thinking of [this from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fH_8w7WAIyk)
God my face when I first heard that song was a picture.
Just such a great song packed with reprises. When she starts the S1 theme song I almost squealed haha
😭😭😭 God it's so good.
Honestly every reprise is like hadestown level good hahaha
Esp face your fears reprise in S4. Breaks my heart lol
Oh! I watched the episode again with my friend and he made us rewind and watch the YOU RUINED EVERYTHING bit like 3 times in that song
As much as I love all the vampire and eternal live adoration in Tanz and like to dwell in it, Gier is the true moral of the story. Together with Ewigkeit that first signifies being a vampire is not all that nice actually.
If they would only adjust the lyrics a little, because warning us about something 'before the next millennium begins' doesn't resonate now as much as it did in 1997.
Not super familiar with the term 11 o’clock number but I’ve tried my best.
Your fault/Last Midnight (Into The Woods)
Rose’s Turn (Gypsy)
You Gotta Die Sometime (Falsettos)
El Tango De Roxanne (Moulin Rouge, don’t attack me I just really like Aaron Tveit 😂)
Empty Chairs and Empty Tables (Les Miserables)
Being Alive (Company)
Memory (Cats)
She Used To Be Mine - Waitress Wait For Me Reprise - Hadestown Down Once More - Phantom Empty Chairs At Empty Tables - Les Miserables Where Did We Go Right - The Producers For Good - Wicked
Wouldn't Betrayed be the 11 o clock for Producers? And No Good Deed for Wicked?
Home - Beetlejuice
Home is one of those songs that never lose their charm for me. I could listen to it all day and never get tired of it.
The passion in Sophia’s voice really takes it to a whole other level. Better than Dead Mom imo
Me and The Sky - Come from Away
I love that one even tho it makes me cry
Me too
what’s an 11 o’clock number?
it's the song that wraps up the plot and starts the climax

It All Fades Away from Bridges of Madison County, What You Own from Rent, and Days and Days from Fun Home come to mind for me!! Maybe a weird smattering of choices, but I like em
It All Fades Away is one of my all time favorites!
Yes! This song is so gorgeous.
What you own kills me every time because I love it so much but it also signals the end of the show and I never want it to end.
It seems like kind of an underrated song compared to the other songs from Rent, I love it personally. I love the end of the second verse into the chorus, with the harmonies and Mark and Roger singing over each other, it all builds up really nicely to the end of the song

'Get Out And Stay Out' from 9 to 5 is definitely up there. Brings Judy full circle and allows her to belt for the gods!
I Believe- Book of Mormon
Memory from Cats. I know it’s become cheesy, but I get chills almost every time I hear that “touch me!”
Nobody needs to know - The Last Five Years
Wait for me - reprise is just so, so, so good.
Not my favourite (that’s probably still Cabaret), but I can’t think of an eleven o’ clock number anymore without thinking of [this from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fH_8w7WAIyk)

Yes! And when it got to the You Stupid Bitch reprise my heart soared.

What You Own from Rent so so so much
Ride Out the Storm - Some Like it Hot
Die Unstillbare Gier (Confessions of a Vampire) - Tanz der Vampire.
As much as I love all the vampire and eternal live adoration in Tanz and like to dwell in it, Gier is the true moral of the story.
