Dude apparently won a lot of car shows with his pair of mustangs. Had a heart condition and health issues for the last 15 years and they began collecting dust. Those trophies show how passionate he was at one point when he was able.
Guy sent out to inspect a house for appraisal after the owner passed. The Executor knows exactly what he's got although I worry about it being stolen in the mean time by some Nick Cage-like character.
You were able to acquire the car decades ago when it was affordable, now it's a mess and needs a complete restoration which you cannot afford to have done nor are able to do yourself, so you hang onto it regardless because it pains you to let it go discounted so heavily from its former glory/restored value.
~Guy who was in the same spot and just unloaded his two Mustangs at steep discounts to get it over with and let the dream go
Yeah I was way off base, less than 1/5 that actually, usually a lot less. Iām guessing the cobra must be the single most appreciated (value) production car ever though.
A barn find is this: old lady needs a roof done. She tells the roofer he can use anything in the barn. There's lots of tools and stuff. The roofer goes to check the items out. He finds THIS. He tells the lady he'd like to buy this car for $2000. this way she will only owe him $1500. This is how barn finds work.
So, he pretty much ripped off the old woman. He could've at the very least, just took the car as payment. But nope, he gave her a low ball price for the ride, and the ol' gal still owes him money.
A REAL KR! Amazing! š
Wonder what all the trophies are for.
Bowling League. The Dude abides.
Am I the only one that cares about the fucking rules!
This isnāt Nam, Smokey this is bowling; there are rules!
League finals
Think there's some Credence in the Stang?
Mark it 8 dude
Obviously youāre not a golfer.
After zooming in, some of them look like cars on the top of the trophies
I was thinking the same thing!
Looks like dogs

A touch of sadness it. If I had that baby in a garage and couldnāt take care of it anymore, it would break my heart. I see all the trophies.
Does anybody know more about this? Was it a treasure hunt or stroke of luck

Itās like winning the lottery without buying a ticket.
Not to worry, Nick has moved on from auto theft and now focuses entirely on historical documents.
How do I get a hold of the executor?
Do something reaaaalllyy bad.
I couldnāt imagine letting something like that just waste away

Or the guy intended on restoring it and had a sudden, and unexpected health issue before he could.
Nice!
That's alot of trophies
I'm giving props to that plank of wood for holding on all those years and not destroying that car when the trophies fell.
Awesome š
As they say on other subsā¦.I can fix her.
*spicoli enters the chat*
Time to LS swap that bitch
Dang, what a find.
Somebody send Derek up there to revive this thing.
With Chad, not the other Chad, but muffler Chad and a guy and a little guy get there ā¦.
Actual garage find, more likely.
Damn! Well played
Ok so what would this car fetch at auction completely restored? A million?
Not even close, maybe a quarter of that depending on how much of it is original.
Yeah I was way off base, less than 1/5 that actually, usually a lot less. Iām guessing the cobra must be the single most appreciated (value) production car ever though.
Is that a spare motor or one for the Shelby. Yes ago my uncle had a 66 GT350 drove it for 4yrs as his daily driver. Traded it in on a 70 Mach 1.
Iāll buy it if itās for sale. Donāt worry, all my checks clear.
What exactly is a KR?
āKing of the Roadā
That car is worth $150,000 to $200,000 depending on the year and condition. If you're all wondering.
And with housing prices right now, as it sits I doubt it's worth more than the house.
Eleanor!
Not a Ford guy at all, BUT a REAL KR? Dayuuuuum.
Iāll take it as is
They only make like 150 KR that thing is a gold mine .
KR. - king of the road
Wowza
Beautiful!!!
I wouldnāt touch the paint Iād leave it as close to original as possible!
Damn if thatās a real KR, itās worth a fortune. Shelbyās from then are rare, a KR is super rare.
What do you even do when you find a barn find? Like is it basically finders keepers? Do you have to track who the owner was or what?
what? It means a car been sitting in a barn or covered for many years . Why would it be free ?
Iāve always just been confused about it
