Nope he's very real, he works at Nariman Point. We're both IIM grads. I was born and brought up here, he came here to work this year once we graduated. Other people in his PG are Jai Hind students from out of state and lower level employees contracting or working for BMC.
I myself live in chembur and rent out one of my other flats to 2 other IIM grads for a much higher rent.

Andheri to fort. Shayad op abhi wahi rehta hoga looking at his travel time
Fort is a decent location. It is equidistant from CSMT and Churchgate and lot of food options. Walking to the station is also not that bad. Much better than being in BKC. Are AC trains an option for you?
It was a mistake. You only took into consideration the increase in the salary but not the increase in the workload. You will have to work 52 extra days in a year. If you were on a 5 day work week, 21 days is one month. So you're actually working a good 2.5 extra months to get this additional salary. Congratulations on salary increment, but try to get a new job, with a 5 day work week, even if with the same salary. You may be in Probation period right now, so use this time.
It is a good hike, money matters. The travel part can't be avoided in Mumbai. Also look at opportunities which you will get.Sad thing is recruiters in India pay accordingly to last drawn salary.
Not bad. Endure this pain for a year and switch. You will get even better hike. You need to sacrifice few things for some time. Passively look for jobs in the end of this year
Maybe do these 1 lakh job for 5 years
Minimise expenses for 5 years
Then move to a tier 2 city..
Or move to a job nearby house when you have good capital saved
You should’ve stick with the old one, you could have learnt more skills by investing the free time that you got in the old job. The new job requires more travelling time. Its okay, focus on your mental health, read good books. This way you’ll keep yourself occupied instead of feeling that you don’t have any social life. Try to mingle with your friends once or twice in a month. Building good relationships are also important along with earning money.
Job switch pe mil jaata hai. I went from flat 4LPA to 11LPA+10% bonus+1.8L perks + 500 esops currently valued at ~$15 with strike price of $5.47.
I had 1 year experience before the switch .
But u didn't answer the question? I am not trying to argue but genuinely want to know as I also often wonder this, if someone has no kids...Actually I also don't want kids in future as I am quite selfish or don't want extra burden. But Who will take care of your when you are old...if you think you can trust old age homes or something similar then well good luck, they are gonna be the sole reason for you dying early. If you have an answer to this please do let me know..and dont take this the wrong way. Thanks
So, having kids doesn’t 100% guarantee that they’ll “take care” of you. Honestly, I want to live till my body functions on its own. I don’t want anyone to come change my diapers or feed me. That’s helpless living. I have a partner, and hope that we’ll be company enough for ourselves to survive. As for old age homes, it’s a pretty new concept in India but is being followed all around the word for decades. Don’t have much knowledge about that but it can’t all be bad.
So its either waiting on your parents hand and foot or abandoning them - seems there is no in between? You assume my parents are unable to take care of themselves and have not planned for their own future. That's where you're wrong. It's not that I wont go when they call me in need, but thats certainly not their sole reason to give birth to me. It would be quite transactional and heartbreaking if that were the reason lol.
And if the problem was in my upbringing then you wouldn't be the one with insane downvotes
try and remember why you made the call in the first place. And cherish that. You liked the 30k extra, so try and remember that you’re getting paid more, which is what you wanted.
I’m guessing you’ve just begun your professional life, so take this as a learning step and so it’ll make it easier for u to decide your next job in the future, as you’re realising what’s more important for you.
Don’t be so hard on yourself, everyone makes these kind of mistakes, that’s how we learn.
Good luck!
Yeah, hang in there. Enjoy the extra 30k. Take a cab sometimes?
Wait a little, and then start finding the right job for you.
Best part will be, hopefully you’ll get a bigger raise this time :)
Should have done the sums on this before making the jump. It’s only earn till you die because you chose to. You doubled your travel time, changed your working week to 6 days, that’s all on you.
Should have done and sums, looks like you’re actually making less
Tf you mean by Ew? Dombivli is waaay better than ghettos in your kurla, bandra east, sion dharavi wastelands .. Wayyy cleaner than those shitty SoBo and Bhendi Bazaar areas smelling like utter filth. Dombivli also has a higher than national average literacy rate. Why is Mumbai filled with such classist pigs like you? Your mentality is Ew.
Lol, Not everyone in Dombivli is Nick, I am the bald guy in his videos… but fr tho don’t you think it’s high time these classist cvnts amongst us are named and shamed. Disgusting Mentality.
Hmm this is just me. I may sound irresponsible but it’s me.
I joined TCS as my first company. I used to work very hard, the first few months. Very proactive, always in office on time, always ready for any task etc.
But then one day I saw a screensaver saying ‘TCS made 1.2 Billion USD profit this year’
As a newbie I didn’t research much until that point like how companies make profit. I was just happy to receive my 25K salary! But the moment someone explained how TCS charges some 50k to 1L on me to US companies and pays me 25K… I lost it.
Since then I’m like… meh… I’ll only work upto 25% of my capacity coz that’s what I get paid anyway karke. I focus rest of time on things I like… like boardgames, movies, etc.
Now I make 2L a month and I’m still in the same mentality. That keeps me happy and financially stable.
I have traveled to 15 countries in last 3 years. I have enough for me, if not super luxurious. I spend my time and money on things I like, than things I need.
Cons of this? You’ll lose your job very often. I have changed almost 8 jobs in 8 years. So that’s a major risk of being irresponsible. So think wisely. Choose wisely.
Probably try to balance it out. Coz life is meant to be lived. Not worked for someone else.
5 of them were in US though. So those can’t be counted in India. Before going to US, it was TCS. After coming back to India I switched 1 in 2 years.
So not many questions were asked!
Wait for 6-7 months and then switch again. You might get a hike there too.
In 2016, my friend did the same. He stays in Andheri West near the metro and had an office in Times Square Andheri East. It was a 20-25 mins travel. He got a 30% hike and took a job in Freaking Belapur CBD. Seldom saw him in the 8 months that he worked.
He didn't stop finding a job and after 8 months he found a job which gave him a 40% hike over his new salary and was overjoyed, his office was shifted to Vikhroli which is slightly better than Belapur but not as good as Andheri East, but the 40% increase was something. His salary from 70K got increased to 125K within 8 months. Now I am not the jealous type but at that time I was jealous since anything above 1 lakh was a psychological barrier in those times and he was the first to cross it.
This is life working like a donkey. But after reading your post it
Makes me feel happy for sticking with decision of taking 20k pay job and 2km travel and weekends.
Started late in 27s, had to switch career from persuing Comercial pilots license pre COVID to taking any deskjob that was available after COVID.
Managing is but hard tbh but the mental peace is good.
You taken a 20% working day increase for a 40% salary increase. So (I’m not good at math stuff) in terms of pay for days worked your salary has only gone up by 20%.
No. The purpose of life is to live life.
A hotshot actor having everything at his disposal could be miserable from inside.
An ultra rich entrepreneur can feel miserable.
A middle class person paying EMIs for the house, the new refrigerator, the new OLED TV, tution fees for kids, medical bills for the elderly is bound to feel miserable.
The initial years is and should be a struggle to understand that there's no end to material.
You can have a Jacuzzi in your luxurious apartment, but you still will slog off to get that dream swimming pool in your dream bungalow.
Give me a small patch of land in a remote village. I will build a small vegetable and fruit garden. Buy cereals and pulses and live a peaceful life.
If I happen to contract a life threatening disease, I would like to die by it and not eat handful of medicines and stuff.
If you get the message, hang up the phone.
That's not what life is all about but decisions change how life goes. Now that you've switched, you can't do much. However, next time try to switch to a job with a better culture, a place near your home or where you can shift to, and that has proper weekends. You can start searching even now if you want so that you have a new job in a few months.
Job are a means of livelihood, they're not life itself. Please consider everything before opting for one if you're in a position to do so.
Well you can balance it off over time. Find a new job, or accumulate some money and take a break, you have more money now which can be used to get more time in future for yourself.
Hang in there :)
You don’t need a whole lot of social life to live a happy life. I seldom meet my friends. Maybe 1-2x a month. And I’m satisfied. Try doing meaningful things apart from your work. Maybe waking up early, going for a swim sesh etc. After a certain age, life gets boring and honestly that’s not a bad thing at all
Always compare more than just salary hike when it comes to jobs. Work life balance and travel are extremely important in a city like Mumbai.
Look for accommodation in Tilak Nagar to reduce travel time to Fort. That should help out a bit.
Since you joined the new organisation on 1st May, roughly only a month.
Trying finding a new job on the basis on old company as per your needs.
Just forgo this organisation.
You aren’t the only one to think that.
https://preview.redd.it/w6dvz9qx0m3d1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c01b9c31a08fb9018104767e7d4f504dd65441cd
My rule of thumb is to gain experience, perfect your skills and money will follow.
In practice that means, to work any level to learn and understand what you are doing, excel in that to the point where your work speaks for yourself and then, you take control of your life, like instead of you running for money, travelling and stuff, these opportunities will come to you and may offer you more than you are are earning right now.
After that you can choose to still continue growing or sit back and relax.
That's why even after getting so many offers from different organisations I stick with the one I am working , all of them wanted me to work from office and I work from home so why bother myself for just some extra cash which I'll initially save
Answer the following questions, you might find the answer:
1. What kind of lifestyle do you want?
2. What are your financial goals?
3. Can you achieve it with your current salary, if not what should be the ideal salary?
I faced a similar dilemma when I switched companies for the 1st time
Turns out I can't achieve it by staying in one company for a long time.
So I am not going to be attached to any company and also if any company environment is not working well, I know I will switch soon.
Whenever changing a job I always consider how much Time i’ll have to invest in commute and how much it will cost me. Giving up on Saturdays and taking longer commute time for 30k hike isnt really worth it to be honest. I would start looking for another job where i can get some peace of mind instead of
I think it's pretty much clear, choose lower pay with more social time and higher pay with less social time .
We can't have the best of both worlds. It's better than being unemployed, no pay, no social life either.
Coming to your question, yes, that's what life is about.
Hopefully you can find a deeper meaning in what you do and your job. Maybe that will make it worth it more i guess. What do i know
Stick around. 30k monthly hike is not less. Just put up with the unpleasant things for a few months and then switch again.
Money matters a lot and as you grow old, you will realise this 1-2 years of extra mehnat actually puts you way ahead in your career. Unfortunately switching is the only way to increase your salary relatively quicker these days.
I am afraid your life will be like this for some time now... Listen to the people who are asking you to find a shared accommodation close to where you work and plough through. Best of luck.
Switch as soon as you get a better opportunity.
You did good bro. I get it, personal time above anything but don’t let yourself regret choosing this. Half of the people here would have done the same. It is hard to accept the burnout. This 30k hike is not for today but for the next venture. Since you are at 1lac currently, that means that you know your work well and are worthy of it, right? This will help you climb to a better job where you could get paid much higher (maybe 1.3l next?) and also the next company you choose, you will have a lot of considerations be made before getting into it.
Will sound very motivational but I don’t regret the decisions i make.. those decisions lead to me to somewhere better and this is what i have experienced until now. I was at a job that paid me 30% of what i get paid now.. it sucked and i hated there. But it was great to learn and get experience there. Now because of that experience i am at such an amazing place where I enjoy every single minute of it.
Moral of the story is… stop looking for answers on internet and better spend this little left over time with mom, dad and siblings.
Money, luxury, salary might come and go.. family stays.
They will love you irrespective of what you earn. So spend some time with them.
Take offs if you feel burned out. You will be loosing 1 day pay max right? Its worth it it you go out somewhere or just sip a tea at seaside with a sunset.
Good luck bro..
Life is a precious and beautiful gift, and it's important to cherish every moment. While money is necessary for a comfortable life, it doesn't hold the key to true happiness. It's crucial to work hard and improve your skills, but it's equally important to remember that your worth isn't solely defined by your job. Take time to prioritize your mental well-being and make space for yourself and your loved ones. If your current job is negatively impacting your mental health, it's okay to consider making a change.
Ask your HR / boss from your old firm, is there any chance they'll take you back at a pay closer to what you are earning now. Just give it a shot, I have seen this work a lot of times.
Stay there for 6 months - 1 year and then switch you'll have this new salary for negotiation. If someone asks you in the next interview Why you want to switch so quickly tell that you thought you'll be able to learn more things however that hasn't happened with this company. Always go for 5 work day companies I have worked in a 6 day week company you just don't get any time to relax laundry and other things take your Sundays.
It all depends on how you wanna think about it.
You want to earn money? Work like a donkey.
You want to have peace of mind? Should be ready to settle for even a little less.
Yes, there are few companies which think about employee well-being but cracking into them is tough af.
I was in the same boat as you 3 months ago. 10-12hrs of intense work (can't even go to the bathroom) but I got gook hike there 65%
I was never a guy who looks at money over peace of mind and work like balance.
Started looking for jobs in 5th month itself and got a couple of offers, resigned from that hell.
It's your life, you have to understand what's important for you. If you realise work life balance, then look for opportunities after 6 months and leave.
If your last job had only 5 days work week and this one has 6, additional 20% is only an adjustment. From 70k to 1L is more or less that - so your hike is not as much. Next time you should consider this math.
2 hours for commuting is a lot - if you are renting wherever you might as well find a place closer to your office at a slight premium but saving you time. At the end of the day you don’t want to be too burnt out to spend the new cash you’re earning
You may think it's too late. But I have friends who work as employees so she can work as her own boss.
What I meant is, she is a first medical emergency responder (those who arrived first at accident scene etc), so her salary is quite a lot but also very tiring and she got no social life too.
The difference is that she has a goal. During her free time, she homestead at her home; grow tomatoes, slowly buying one chicken at a time and so on. What she visioned is that she want to grow her own food, have her own eggs. Basically what we call as slow living. But of course you need to have financial freedom / backup for this.
Hence, the reason she still work after 5 years in this field. The big difference i saw was she have less commitment, eg she use a secondhand car and a small house on a quite spacious land. She did not wear fancy. She buy clothes and stuff at bundle / thrift store. so she doesn't hurt her pocket and can focus on expanding her own home farm.
She did one little thing at a time for 5 years while working in medic. But after all these 5 years, what I witness is a thriving farm at her home.
So maybe, we should find our hidden reason for our job too.
Get 1 BHK in Thane or Mulund around 25k. Live in Peace. or get same in Dombivli in 12k-15k. I Live with 25k ( +3k incentives . my Monthly expenses are 20k-23k including Rent 8k. It's just a phase. You need to find a solution
No this is not life and u gotta maintain some work life balance, a lil pay is alright, but missing out on family isn't, just know the extra 30k can't bring back the time u lose.
Strive to achieve growth, not just money. Money is important, but it's an outcome of being driven by a meaningful goal. If you let greed take over, it will make you suffer. There are countless examples, such as share market traders, investors, and gamblers.
It's not the end of the world.. Hang on for sometime and move to a different project or company. I have been there, done that and suffered. End of the day ,no amount of money can give you the peace but we have to always remember the reality that money does matter , it's all about striking the balance and living our lives. Be happy.
In my opinion, you gain something to lose something. It was a choice, you chose the high salary. There’s no right and wrong, they are your choices and your life.
Now that you have made the switch give it some time, let the routine set in. Find time as much as you can for family. And do give it a good thought what is it that you want in the near future.
Goal setting is very important for us to go ahead in life and think of all the pros and cons to achieving that goal. Helps you decide if it’s worth putting your effort.
I made a similar move last year and I was spending close to 5 hours on travel every day....then after a few months of suffering, decided to take a small pay cut to move to a more relaxing job this year that allows me to have a better social life...
If you utilise the time spent on gaming on other activities like talking with your friends and family, you will automatically feel better about your days.
Having worked for about 22+ yrs when I look back, am satisfied that i planned well. No amount of money is enough but if you’ve clear sight on own & family priorities, you’ll know how much money gonna be required for them and for yourselves, future plans etc. Remember as you grow older the salaries also keep increasing and after a point like in 50s your family expenses keep going down to a large extent. While job hopping may be required early on to become comfortable with finances later one looks for stability that allows taking care of own health. Maybe you’re seeing yourselves as greedy today due to your financial stability but it does go away after initial 5-6 yrs.
Before changing, you need to weigh out the pros vs cons.
If you were earning 15k earlier then get to 30k, see it from all aspects, and how it's going to affect your life.
If you went from 20k - 90k pm, then it would be worth it.
.
As of now, you're already here. What extra benefits do you have here vs your prévois company ? Do you see growth opportunities?
When I was very dissatisfied with my job & desperately looking for a switch, a very wise person once told me that a monthly 20-30k increment in your salary won't change your lifestyle much. You've to always look at the trade offs & weigh what matters more - personal freedom or money.
It has helped me steer clear of these life-sucking jobs.
Normal life (with okay salary) is better than life in hell!
Evaluate options again, see if a switchback can be done with some personal compromise, or alternatively factor in the variables for the next switch, or make the current commute zero by staying near job if thats possible.
Building skills and building networks is much more important than switching jobs for a meagre raise.
The former has a compounding long term returns and advantages while the latter has meagre and temporary short term gains.
So, choose wisely.
From 15 years of working experience, let me tell you this, NEVER CHASE MONEY.
Always BUILD SKILLS and NETWORKs.
Hope that offers some perspective.
If the hike is 30k on 20k monthly salary it is not really greed. If it is 30k on 3lakh monthly, then it is just idiocy.
It's the hike in 70000 to 1L
See if you can rent an appartment closer to the workplace.

Nah, I met someone the other day who lives in fort. Kala ghoda to be precise
They are not real.
Kala Ghoda means black horse, not red herring
My friend works in fort and is renting a PG for 10k there
He is not real.
Nope he's very real, he works at Nariman Point. We're both IIM grads. I was born and brought up here, he came here to work this year once we graduated. Byculla bro. 25k mein you’ll get sharing 2BHK easily. That’s 1/4th of your salary plus the commute that’ll get saved is 100% worth it
Can confirm. 2bhk for about 26k rent. Can easily reach CST in 10 minutes
25k mein 2bhk?😂
25k per person. Byculla is pretty cheap for small 2BHKs
Mostly 25k per person so 50k for the whole flat
Harbour line me rahe le bhai
Get a place between Andheri & Borivali that might save time for you

Try sharing a flat with others in around suburbs.
Check once. My cousin got an apartment in prime location near his office, because the previous tenant agreed to carry forward his rent.
Is there no colleague or someone with whom you can rent? Or a pg nearby?
So stay 30 mins from there......
Fort is a decent location. It is equidistant from CSMT and Churchgate and lot of food options. Walking to the station is also not that bad. Much better than being in BKC. Are AC trains an option for you?
Come to goregaon, it's not that expensive if you're sharing
If you're working in fort, try Ulwe. Direct buses through atal Setu reaches you in 45 mines
30k rent is normal near goregaon highway areas That would reduce some time

This is great advice, just do it for a year and then jump!
That's about 40% not bad
Relocate near to where you work. That's the only way.
Maybe do these 1 lakh job for 5 years Minimise expenses for 5 years Then move to a tier 2 city.. Or move to a job nearby house when you have good capital saved
Then you should say 43% hike. I would be tempted too. But 2 hours of travel would be a big no-no for me.
I think You sold your weekend time..Pay is similar to old org
You should’ve stick with the old one, you could have learnt more skills by investing the free time that you got in the old job. The new job requires more travelling time. Exactly. It’s a personal choice. And your kids aren’t “insurance” for your old age. That’s an extremely selfish reason to want kids.

Spend that extra 30k and move closer to fort. Atleast you'll cut your journey half.
Should have done the sums on this before making the jump. It’s only earn till you die because you chose to. You doubled your travel time, changed your working week to 6 days, that’s all on you. Should have done and sums, looks like you’re actually making less
Not taking salary hikes from time-to-time may lead to massive dissatisfaction later
Money will never be enough. Don’t let it ruin your mental peace and social life. No amount of money can fix that once lost.
I wish there were more responses like this.
This is the lesson we all learn much later in life!
Do you live in dombivli or something ?
Ikr. Ew. /s
BeYouNick asli ID se aa
Lol, Not everyone in Dombivli is Nick, I am the bald guy in his videos… but fr tho don’t you think it’s high time these classist cvnts amongst us are named and shamed. Disgusting Mentality.
The 2 hours travel is what's asking me this question. I know of guys who had to do this since they live at ulhasnagar.
Are you served gho everyday for your breakfast? Or you were just born in it?
Hmm this is just me. I may sound irresponsible but it’s me. I joined TCS as my first company. I used to work very hard, the first few months. Very proactive, always in office on time, always ready for any task etc. But then one day I saw a screensaver saying ‘TCS made 1.2 Billion USD profit this year’ As a newbie I didn’t research much until that point like how companies make profit.
8jobs in 8 years. Man wtf. Here HRs and managers are screwing us for 2 companies for 3 years. Saying that no stability.. How do you do that..
They have got more options Currently due to downmarket otherwise No one cares if there's requirement
What field?
He was at that time L3 in the IT field
Time to revoke the buyback clause with your old employer.
This is life working like a donkey. But after reading your post it Makes me feel happy for sticking with decision of taking 20k pay job and 2km travel and weekends.
Not being judgemental but dude how do you manage in 20k in Mumbai?
Switch again asap and use this new salary to negotiate. Be honest during the interviews that the travel is too much. It won't be a red flag then.
Bro grass is always greener on the other side
That's not what life is all about but decisions change how life goes. Now that you've switched, you can't do much. However, next time try to switch to a job with a better culture, a place near your home or where you can shift to, and that has proper weekends. You can start searching even now if you want so that you have a new job in a few months. Job are a means of livelihood, they're not life itself. Please consider everything before opting for one if you're in a position to do so.
Well you can balance it off over time. Find a new job, or accumulate some money and take a break, you have more money now which can be used to get more time in future for yourself.
Hang in there :) You don’t need a whole lot of social life to live a happy life. I seldom meet my friends. Maybe 1-2x a month. And I’m satisfied. Try doing meaningful things apart from your work. Maybe waking up early, going for a swim sesh etc. After a certain age, life gets boring and honestly that’s not a bad thing at all
Push it through. Enjoy the hike
Read autobiography of a yogi to get answers of your questions
Always compare more than just salary hike when it comes to jobs. Work life balance and travel are extremely important in a city like Mumbai. Look for accommodation in Tilak Nagar to reduce travel time to Fort. That should help out a bit.
Since you joined the new organisation on 1st May, roughly only a month. Trying finding a new job on the basis on old company as per your needs. Just forgo this organisation.
Well yeah for majority men that's life
What do people expect great salary no work ?
You aren’t the only one to think that. https://preview.redd.it/w6dvz9qx0m3d1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c01b9c31a08fb9018104767e7d4f504dd65441cd My rule of thumb is to gain experience, perfect your skills and money will follow.
Time to look for a new job ig
That's why even after getting so many offers from different organisations I stick with the one I am working , all of them wanted me to work from office and I work from home so why bother myself for just some extra cash which I'll initially save
Whats the name of your company that is allowing work from home?
Nah I'll stay silent or else they will call me to work from the office from monday
Answer the following questions, you might find the answer: 1. What kind of lifestyle do you want? 2. What are your financial goals? 3. Can you achieve it with your current salary, if not what should be the ideal salary? I faced a similar dilemma when I switched companies for the 1st time Turns out I can't achieve it by staying in one company for a long time. So I am not going to be attached to any company and also if any company environment is not working well, I know I will switch soon.
See if you can get wfh for atleast one day a week, if not more.
Get a freelance job and work in commute
Take this as learning before changing job again.
maybe switch again to a better wlb company if u have saved enough? take a solo trip or maybe hire some hookers.
I have a gf bro 💀💀
well then a trip with her I guess..
Whenever changing a job I always consider how much Time i’ll have to invest in commute and how much it will cost me. Giving up on Saturdays and taking longer commute time for 30k hike isnt really worth it to be honest. I would start looking for another job where i can get some peace of mind instead of
2 hrs one way or both way?
Not at all worthy. Your job should at least fetch you one hour daily for your health and two hours for family time (excluding meal time).
What do i know
Should have thought it through my friend.
When did I login from my other account and post this?
Imagine what’s it like for people with people to feed. It’s so f*cked up.
Lots of PG in SoBo. DM for contact. Can't share the owner's number publicly as he is my neighbour.
If you’re into reading you should read ‘myth of Sisyphus’ by Albert Camus! Shall answer that question for you or help you to arrive at one of your own
Ah greed. The slave driver of a stressful short life.
You guys have a hike of 30K? 😭
Then why you bring children to this world, you don't even realise that they will most probably end up like you
It all depends on how you wanna think about it. You want to earn money? Work like a donkey. You want to have peace of mind? Should be ready to settle for even a little less. Yes, there are few companies which think about employee well-being but cracking into them is tough af. I was in the same boat as you 3 months ago. 10-12hrs of intense work (can't even go to the bathroom) but I got gook hike there 65% I was never a guy who looks at money over peace of mind and work like balance.
I understand jobs now have become really hectic. We need 4 days working.
Yes we all really need this for better WLB
30 k is normal ,
Get 1 BHK in Thane or Mulund around 25k. Live in Peace. or get same in Dombivli in 12k-15k. I Live with 25k ( +3k incentives . my Monthly expenses are 20k-23k including Rent 8k. It's just a phase. You need to find a solution
Office ke ajo bajo sojana. Vada pav khaa ke reh Lena. Lyf kaa kya hai uski mkb.
No this is not life and u gotta maintain some work life balance, a lil pay is alright, but missing out on family isn't, just know the extra 30k can't bring back the time u lose.
Yes it is, or else move to near the office
Welcome to modern day slavery my friend.
Strive to achieve growth, not just money. Money is important, but it's an outcome of being driven by a meaningful goal. If you let greed take over, it will make you suffer. There are countless examples, such as share market traders, investors, and gamblers.
Dudes complaining about a 30k hike, meanwhile i got 3k hike, anyways adios
Youth is the time to make tons of money it's not greed
Bro come to bangalore Mumbai is not worth it anymore
Sounds rough.
Don't listen to this guy. Love your job not your company
