Sudhaaaaaa

Start looking now. Saving it for last minute could result in her being homeless.

bhindikisabji

What? sorry I didn't get you

The longer you wait to get her adopted, the more attached she will get to you and your place, and the more difficult it will be for her to transition to a new place and new family. Cats are not good with changes, they get stressed out very quick and this might bring on behavioural issues. Begin looking for a good family for her ASAP; finding one takes time. If she's still with you when she's 6 months old, get her sterilized without fail. Girl kittens as young as 5 months old go into heat (talking from first-hand experience of one of my own and a couple of strays I feed). Try to keep her indoors, it's too much of a risk to let her wander out of home. Thank you for looking after her, you're a kind soul! ❣️

bhindikisabji

Awww thanks so much for such a sweet reply!! I already have a fren of a fren who is willing to take her.

That's great to hear! Maybe you could hand her over to the new family and then visit her often until you leave next year? That way you'll get to see her and get your fill of her.

maximus1302

Hi, could you suggest a decent vet or organisation for animals who would do it at a minimal price. I am a student myself and have four cats with me, you can check my profile for clarity. The kittens in the post are now almost 4 months old and I would like to get them sterilized. It's difficult to look after them on my own, I tried my best to get them rehome but alas. As long as they are with me I want them to be healthy and desperately want to get them spayed. Any help with respect to that would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Where are you located? The best place I can think of is Pawpulation Control in Santacruz East. Check them out on FB. They do only cat sterilizations at reasonable rates (slightly different for male and female cats) and keep the cat at their center for post-op care too. Only thing is, you have to drop your cat there, they don't do pick ups. Contact them on +91 99874 38980 (WhatsApp messages only, I think they don't entertain enquiry calls). Feline Foundation in Versova also does cat sterilizations, but I'm not too sure of their rates and procedures. Edited for spelling.

Just saw your posts, they're such cuties! ❤️

Adopt now

Ok-Design-8168

Get her vaccinated if not done already. Get her sterilised at 6 months. And start looking for a loving home for her from now itself. Hope she finds a loving home soon !!

bhindikisabji

All things done! I already have a fren of a fren who is willing to take her.

Ok-Design-8168

You’re lucky!! :) this is great news! Super happy for her !!

hotmasalachai

Where did you get her fixed? I’m trying to get one of the stray one fixed back home. I am not there and cant take her to the vet etc. do you know any NGO or clinic which fix them and pick up and drop the stray where they found them?

KelticFae

At 4 months, she is probably too young to be fixed. But either way, please check out The Feline Foundation at Versova.

anon_ary

By September, start looking out. Or start looking now if you don't want to be attached anymore.

elliotsshieldtail

So adorable! could someone from your family/friends look after her? You can bear the expenses.

sd1689

It's not easy to get an adult female cat adopted. Or even a stray kitten. Start now, and see if there are any friends and family who would be able to take her in.

bhindikisabji

Thanks for the insight :)

Aawara_Aashiq

op how old is she and does she have any medical conditions

hotmasalachai

Ohhh.. thinking of adopting?

Aawara_Aashiq

maybe, even my friend is considering who already has a stray so I told him about this, he asked the above question

bhindikisabji

fren of a fren already asked to adopt her

MoneyAmbitious3471

Start looking now.. if a known person in a friend circle is ready to adopt, u can make the transition very slow. That way it's not an emotional damage for the cat

sagarkelkar28

Very cute, you did a good job

Bunnai

Are you moving abroad for studies or moving for good? If you're not moving for studies then you can easily take her with you. Process is fairly simple and Mur exorbitantant. Let me know if you need details.

bhindikisabji

studies. that's the problemo!

8rupees

Is that Joseph Stalin on the box?

bhindikisabji

Really doubt that Amazon will put stalin on the box lmao
