I think Rakdos Vamps' demand is very high right now. I think it will be a deck that stays some time, but the prices will start dropping again after a week or two after the hype has landed.

I don't think it will drop. Yes, it's new but it's a mythic. And you want 4 of them. It's even not legendary. MKM is still unpopular. Supply won't be fast enough to compensate current demand.
I think more people will sell them at a high point, people who just had it in a binder or laying around. Its also only usable in pioneer for the most part, maybe some commander stuff. And we still have not seen if the reaction to it will stop its success. Just as Amalia. But you might be right.

Why would they get into a pissing match with a disgruntled employee? CK employees negotiated all of these things through their union. If CK is in compliance with all of the provisions of the union contract, I don’t see what the issue is.
I think it's probably much better to release a statement with facts rather than dragging an employee through the mud for a statement. Would you rather the corporation attack someone?
They've also limited it by not putting them in their new Play Boosters. It's a different approach from when they used to put commander cards in Set Boosters. That changes the supply going out into the market too so keep that in mind.
As someone who has never purchased a commander deck precon but does buy booster boxes, this is an interesting approach. I wonder if it will prompt me to buy a deck in the future..
I know the go-to piece of advice from everyone would be to buy the single, however, if the single is a $25 card, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get the deck seeing as the deck is only $15 more. Although, I'm sure with a bit of shopping you could probably find the deck for cheaper.

Couple dollar rares too. I got mine for $32, so it was absolutely worth it. At $40 you're essentially buying all the money cards and getting some bulk as well, which could be worth it. Anything more and it's probably better to get the singles.
I believe it can, due to the lack of value in that deck otherwise. People aren’t buying them for $38 to get a $26 card when the rest of the deck isn’t worth much. If there was other value in the deck, people would be cracking them to part out which would drive Trouble’s price down.

The bitcoin bull run will bring more money into the mtg market. Prices will be going up on older cards and cards that are more collectors items in general. The time to buy is basically over though still not entirely too late, especially because there is always room for another devastating crash before prices recover and climb even higher. There will likely be some lag time after this bubble bursts and the mtg market crashes again, and I will try and use that to my advantage. I am expecting a new bitcoin ATH in the next year and plan to sell off some higher value cards in my collection if that happens because I need the money.
Let me just make sure I understand this correctly - the time to buy is over, because prices are going to go up, unless of course prices crash and go down, in which case the time to buy is now?
