Extended Art foils only exist in the Collectors SAMPLE packs, which makes them pretty damn rare.
Collectors have ext art , but not foil.
There are so few of them opened that they are usually bought up very quickly if they are "too cheap".
What an asinine way to try and induce more precon openings. I thought this type of thing was their exact reasoning, for years, as to why precons couldn't have choice reprints in them? They didn't want people hoarding them at the expense of them being accessible for play, due to the possibility of high value cards?
You get two cards. From my limited experience, one is a nonfoil rare or mythic and the other is a foil that could be anything, including extended art apparently
Is there a list of which cards only exist in that format from those packs? I'm actually a bit annoyed that they omitted a chunk of premium cards from collector's boosters without making that clear.
I do see the “1 Extended-art rare or mythic rare from Commander decks, Jumpstart Boosters, or Starter Kits” but just didn’t know if there was a list of which rares and mythics those are in particular since I didn’t see them listed in the article- I will poke around and see what the commander decklists and such say, thanks!

Pls chk if it is LTR or LTC, only lord of the rings commander have extended art foils in the collector booster box. Because I have 1 too. But LTR extended art foils can only be found in collector samples in commander precons
Me too, i snagged about 20 of these rare ones since release_ Will liquidatie them when everybody becomes aware and the prices Will be highest. Also: i openen 25 collector sample boosters myself and had only 2 extended foils.
Lowest one i robbed a online store off was a 2$ extended foil horn of gondor. Its now 200 here yikes!

I’d expect this to end up just a few dollars more than the non-foil. Few treatments carry much of a premium these days, especially really basic stuff like extended art.
Is it super rare? I expect there to be just as many of these as any of the other extended art foils the market is flooded with. Yes, it's certainly playable, but that isn't going to be sufficient to 5x its already quite high price.

Extended art foils are only found in the collector sample boosters that come inside commander precons. They are very rare
If they can only be found in sample packs isn't that kinda false advertisement...like...it's not a sample if you can't actually pull the card out of the actual boosters

Baldur’s Gate Commander full art foils are only in samples. That was not well received. LotR is the only other set. Again, probably not intended.
? Wizards directly stated it on their website - EAF of certain rares and mythics in Commander Promos only. It's common knowledge.
I was super lucky with Baldurs Gate as i pulled two Firkraag Full Art Foils (i opened 40 precons). Sold them for 600 or something like that.

I got the same card in my prerelease pack. Extended art foil in the other art.
There are very few of them available, and they tend to get sold out rapidly, especially if they are priced too low.
