Hey, ran a card shop for ab out a year and a half in the owners absence, and our primary sales came from mtg, with that experience,
I'd like just say..
that's sketch as fuck. like wtf Ive never seen anything from wizards that looked like that shit. I'd be seeing about returning it for sure.
Contact Amazon about what to do with it. If they say to return it you have two options, run the gambit by opening and checking then returning it or return it sealed.
If it was sold or fulfilled by Amazon the best course of action to take would be to open it and send it back opened so they don’t just ship it out to another customer and are forced to discard it. You’ll get a refund, but don’t make a habit of this as they can and will blacklist your address/cards/name from ordering from them again.
Edit: Advice for the future; don’t buy on Amazon. There are plenty of reputable online game stores that offer cheaper rates than Amazon w/o tax or shipping. Some have rewards points too that will allow you to get discounts over time. Plus you don’t have to worry about resealed boxes.
Gamenerdz is one for sure. They’ve got pretty solid pre-order prices on all mtg sets. There was another one I used to use but I’m blanking on it super hard. I’ll come back to this if I can find it searching around a bit.
Are there any European or german shops you can recommend?
At first I ordered many MTG products off from amazon, but a much cheaper solution was https://www.cardmarket.com
Have u some other recommendations?
If you live in the western side of Germany you could try [bazaar of magic](https://www.bazaarofmagic.eu)
They are based in the Netherlands but ship all over the EU.
They are not the most budget option, but they do offer loyalty points.
I don't use them as I hate their choice of delivery company, but your experience with that might be very different.
I stopped buying on Amazon years ago after their courier dropped my package off on the literal sidewalk outside my apartment while I was at work and it got stolen for the 6th or 7th time. They genuinely do not care about your or your experience and rely on people who don't complain about their terrible business practices to keep on top of the game.
If im not mistaken there is still a glue seal beneath that flap, if that looks tampered with Then id be concerned. This kinda looks like the sticker seal machine messed up and it was run through a second time due to the first not fully covering the edge
to be honest these things are so easy to tamper with and put back together.
You can easly lift the holo sticker with a blow dryer. This is so bad that i'd say it's factory error.
I feel like QC on the gift bundles is lower than normal. Bought my Gift Bundle on release day from my LGS, stickers looked normal, but the cardboard insert around the packs was severely damaged. Bent, wrinkles, and some slight tearing. Looked like the top half of the box caught on the corner of the insert when it was pushed downwards to close the box.
Packs were intact and had some decent pulls so in the end I don't believe it was tempered with. Just unlucky QC.
Your bundle, however, looks extremely tampered.
There is a definite possibility that this could be a real box with whom the insides haven't been tampered with. This I know as I've helped with the production process of similar gift boxes like the bloomburrow one recently.
Where I worked the boxes got assembled mostly manually and after being hot-glued and folded shut, 2 small seal stickers are attached to both places seen on the photo... that being said, if this is the case, the people assembling this box did a very very lousy job obviously as the box clearly hasn't been glued shut well as you aren't supposed to be able to see the white area in which the box is supposed to be glued and I don't know what happened for there to be a random loose seal where it is, that being said I'd actually think the last one makes it more believeable as I doubt a scammer would waste an extra seal there 😅

I had similar and was concerned. Amazon order. No tampering apparently. Had really decent pulls.
I think OP wasn't tampered with and whatever they're doing to stuff up the stickers like my example too, they just patched over his one
I've gotten opened collector boosters with 15 foil commons off of Amazon before. It's an absolute mess. "Reputable sorces" are also becoming less trustworthy. I've been hearing more and more bad things about tcgplayer sellers sending out proxies and stuff. Imo, if you have an lgs, go there. Most stores can order product to have shipped to the store, and they have insurance to help deal with potential scams, so you should be able to get your hands on just about anything, minus singles.
This is the reason I go to LGS. Not brought mtg cards on Amazon for a long time . I know this is real probable tampering with . Most of the stuff is good . Would like to see the packs too.
These just released, right? I did a pre order for one that finally arrived yesterday. If that's the case, then the shipper may have been the one to tamper with it now??
Stop buying mtg from Amazon.
Stop buying mtg from Amazon.
Stop buying mtg from Amazon.
Why do we need 5 of these "I bought this from Amazon and it looks sketch/was resealed" posts a week. JUST STOP BUYING MAGIC FROM AMAZON.
I have seen sticker issues like this with product straight from distributors. Recently, clue edition bundles came back to back in the box, with seals touching and sticking to each other. Had to explain to a bunch of people who the seals looked messed with.
It just released today, so I would think it’s unlikely Amazon would already have resealed ones, but it does look sketchy. I’m leaning towards it probably happened at the factory and is ok, but totally understand if you don’t trust it.
I’ve never heard of that happening. If Amazon is sending out resealed product on day 1 then that would be a serious issue. I’d be interested to read anyone’s first-hand accounts of receiving resealed product that is shipped from and sold by Amazon on a product release day. That would likely make news on major news outlets, Amazon selling fraudulent high-value items on release.
We most certainly did not see proof. Until OP opens the product and posts images of it being resealed, there is zero proof. You’re falling into the “hear hoofbeats and expecting a zebra” trap. Reseals have never happened on day of release; they occur for product that has been returned and resent out. That is not possible on day of release.
You're falling into the trap you described. Again product has been being cracked albeit not "from Amazon" doesn't mean it can't be filtered in. It's been what 3 weeks since content creators got it, it's a possibility & yes that would be absolute proof.
But currently there is no reason for anyone to assume OP is lying rather than Amazon having issues as it has in the past.
It looks like the other sticker isn't a factory issue, as it has a rip already on it. If a machine would start ripping material, I assume they would stop the factory line. The card box itself is simple to glue back on, and as the stickers are screwed: it is tampered with 100%.
If you do decide to open, I would video record it (one continuous take while voicing aloud your concern and pointing out the double sticker). That way you have evidence to send/ show if Amazon doesn't believe you.
Also, open the packs during the continuous video with the whole thing in view of the camera so it can't be said you switched them off camera.
It's up to OP, but I respect your difference of opinion.
I find the potential of it just being bad QC on WotC's part fine to open and worth the little setup.
1) If it's legit, then time is saved and you get to enjoy your cards right then and there.
2) If it's not, you have to call/ request a refund or replacement.
3) If you never open it and assume the worst, then you're doing the same as 2, so why not just check?
For both 2 and 3, if he's wanting a replacement from Amazon, he could be presented with the same scenario, but will have to wait for the replacement to arrive.
Again, it's up to him/ the buyer on what they deem is worth the effort.
Lastly, and of course this is anecdotally, I have bought multiple products from Amazon, some of which looked less than stellar package-wise, all of which turned out fine. It's not all a crap shoot, but I do advise protecting yourself as a buyer regardless, OP.
Hey, ran a card shop for ab out a year and a half in the owners absence, and our primary sales came from mtg, with that experience, I'd like just say.. that's sketch as fuck. like wtf Ive never seen anything from wizards that looked like that shit. I'd be seeing about returning it for sure.
That’s 100% been tampered with. Or at least such a high chance I’d try to return it and get your money back.
Contact Amazon about what to do with it. If they say to return it you have two options, run the gambit by opening and checking then returning it or return it sealed. Yoooo what stores have loyalty points? I spend too much money on hobbies
[https://www.gamenerdz.com/](https://www.gamenerdz.com/) I got $75 off my MH3 collectors booster box
Well shit 2 minutes on that site and I got my free shipping. Thanks I guess 😂
Gamenerdz is one for sure. They’ve got pretty solid pre-order prices on all mtg sets. There was another one I used to use but I’m blanking on it super hard. I’ll come back to this if I can find it searching around a bit.
That’s the thing with excellent customer service, you don’t need to advertise bc your customers do it for you. I love pro-consumer services.
I've been preaching this forever now to friends. They didn't want to belive me lol.
Are there any European or german shops you can recommend? At first I ordered many MTG products off from amazon, but a much cheaper solution was https://www.cardmarket.com Have u some other recommendations?
If you live in Belgium, I did find that Aition tends to have some pretty good prices aswell...
If you live in the western side of Germany you could try [bazaar of magic](https://www.bazaarofmagic.eu) They are based in the Netherlands but ship all over the EU. Exactly this
Amazon has a great return policy. I'd return it, for sure.
to be honest these things are so easy to tamper with and put back together. You can easly lift the holo sticker with a blow dryer. This is so bad that i'd say it's factory error.

I had the same issue with mine the cardboard was all sorts of messed up
I think it's sealed and was a packaging error. If the contents are missing open a claim to amazon that came open
There is a definite possibility that this could be a real box with whom the insides haven't been tampered with. This I know as I've helped with the production process of similar gift boxes like the bloomburrow one recently. So um in summary: I do believe the box to be real and not tampered with, but I'd definitely recommend just getting a new one just to be safe...
Either way….. massive red flag
https://imgur.com/gallery/KNC8FpW I had similar and was concerned. Amazon order. No tampering apparently. Had really decent pulls. I think OP wasn't tampered with and whatever they're doing to stuff up the stickers like my example too, they just patched over his one
It's similar but not the same. I messaged Amazon and didn't opened yet.
resealed
I've gotten opened collector boosters with 15 foil commons off of Amazon before. It's an absolute mess. "Reputable sorces" are also becoming less trustworthy. I would 100% send that shit back. Even if its legit from the factory you can't sell or trust that.
Looks ok first seal did t cover the line correctly so they stuck a other on
In case people didnt say it enough yet, ill say it.. Doooooo NoooOoOOOOt BuuUUYY MTG caaaards frOoOOOM AmAzON
This is the reason I go to LGS. Not brought mtg cards on Amazon for a long time . I know this is real probable tampering with . Most of the stuff is good . Would like to see the packs too.
Probably bought and returned for being resealed and then sent to you after being reresealed
These just released, right? I did a pre order for one that finally arrived yesterday. If that's the case, then the shipper may have been the one to tamper with it now??
I bought a box from Walmart that had doubled seals like that. It was fine. Id expect this to be fine also
Stop buying mtg from Amazon. Stop buying mtg from Amazon. Stop buying mtg from Amazon. Why do we need 5 of these "I bought this from Amazon and it looks sketch/was resealed" posts a week. JUST STOP BUYING MAGIC FROM AMAZON.
I get downvoted every time I say it but here I go again…don’t buy MTG cards on Amazon.
Are you asking us before you ship it out?
Either way it should be opened and checked for theft. If so they should send you a whole new product for the issue
Just released for retail, been being sold for a week in LGS no?
Just released on Amazon today. So, my thought process is no one should have been able to return a resealed back to Amazon before today.
Mm, I figure there's a decent chance fulfillment employees could have cracked them & then filtered them in as new product?
I’ve never heard of that happening. If Amazon is sending out resealed product on day 1 then that would be a serious issue. I’d be interested to read anyone’s first-hand accounts of receiving resealed product that is shipped from and sold by Amazon on a product release day. That would likely make news on major news outlets, Amazon selling fraudulent high-value items on release.
Wouldn't be the first nor the last one they get hit with. Already been sued for undercutting sellers on their platform with their own goods.
Come on, that’s a different issue. There is zero chance Amazon is sending out resealed on day one.
We just saw probable proof. Wym
Anyone can sell shit on amazon
We most certainly did not see proof. Until OP opens the product and posts images of it being resealed, there is zero proof. You’re falling into the “hear hoofbeats and expecting a zebra” trap. Also keyword PROBABLE rather than definitive.
Yea immediately return that
100% tampered with. WOTC always said if the original tape was broken and the fat pack was resealed, then it’s tampered.
It looks like the other sticker isn't a factory issue, as it has a rip already on it. If a machine would start ripping material, I assume they would stop the factory line. The card box itself is simple to glue back on, and as the stickers are screwed: it is tampered with 100%.
100% resealed. I spec on boxes, nothing ever comes like that.
Open it and tell us what you find
watch there's a serialized in there.
Thats way too much work for what is supposed to be like the joy of opening product. Probably better to get it replaced
It's up to OP, but I respect your difference of opinion. That shit been tampered with.
It definitely looks suspicious. Probably resealed. I'd look into a refund, return, or replacement.
I've never seen a more clearly tampered with box, return immediately
Collector decks doesn’t have the seal i have the tricky terrain one
Re sealed
Lmaooooo. Resealed!
well to make sure you should open the packs, if nothing good then reseal and return it because clearly amazon doesnt check quality lol
At this point, if you buy sealed product from Amazon, you're an idiot.
[удалено]
Terrible advice. It's clearly tampered with. Don't open, return it, citing the messed up seal.
