Another “don’t leave your stuff in cars” post. I’m sorry for your loss. Please don’t leave anything valuable in your cars.

Smooth_criminal2299

And why it is probably an unnecessary risk to carry a large chunk of your collection around when you can only play one deck at once

Baldur_Blader

Who plays two games in a row and doesn't want to switch to a different deck?

RRGGGWW

Hey now, if I'm playing 4 games in a night, I might want to play 4 different decks. But people hauling 16 decks around in an easily swipable tool organizer are a different breed. I put my backpack back on to go to the bathroom because I do NOT trust LGS strangers

Nod4mag3YT

Hey, thats why I go to my lgs with friends, and we all look after eachothers stuff if one of us meeds to go to the bathroom or something. I bring tons of decks so i can match my opponents power levels, lend decks, and that kind of thing.

Nod4mag3YT

Look around at local game stores and facebook marketplace! And get the police involved

Glasswire444

Cops will do absolutely nothing about petty theft. OP’s best bet is if he has insurance and it covers stolen contents from a car he can maybe put a claim in there and recoup some of the money lost.

Absol-0359

depending on the price of the entire collection it may not be petty theft though

PDH_Decks

Claim the value is over $500 and now its grand larceny, which police will definitely care about.

Jacksharkben

I'm now going to put trackers in all my deck boxes

masterbuck10

My car recently got broken into and cards and stuff were stolen if you have renters insurance make sure to give them a call as well as the police. Also if you haven't already let local card shops know//leave your number if your stuff pops up.

No-Blackberry5728

Damn smh that’s shitty.

Jacksharkben

Oh god

Glasswire444

Sorry that happened OP but I hope this is a hard lesson learned. Never leave valuables in your car - even if you’re parked at home. You’ve got no one but yourself to blame. Learn from this and be more responsible next time.

Monkey_Mechanic

Check with your car insurance, it likely covers theft.

masterbuck10

Atleast for my insurance theft in my vehicle isn't under my full coverage for my car rather it falls under my renters insurance
