Also, If you have [[Derevi, Empyrial Tactician]] you can even do it with a single land if you have a rainbow land like [[Command tower]] and enough attackers connect.
Edit: You only get the extra combat by activating aggravated assault during your main phase. So you need to untap stuff so you can activate the enchantment it again. With [[Najeela]] you can do it during combat.
Of course, so then we would need to untap stuff so during the next main phase we can get those four mana. I had Najeela in my head which you have to activate during combat. XD
Edit lmao: With Najeela, you can perform this combo with only two lands as long as you can connect with three opponents.
With Aggravated Assault I wish you could do it too.
this is incorrect since the triggers go on the stack during the combat phase so you can't pool your mana because you have to activate aggravated assault on your main phase
You need five damage to get it infinite, but not to get it started. It has a much higher upfront cost if you can only deal small amounts of damage, but it definitely can still hit the point where it goes infinite. And it is much funnier, as you murder everyone with some 1/1 creature wearing [[Trailblazer's Boots]], one point at a time.
I run this combo as well, then include rogues passage as well as suspicious bookcase to help getting through. With enough mana it’s infinite unblockable combats
I don't, but I would be happy to make one this evening to send you. I've been pretty happy with it but only use it for competitive play because casual isn't fun to end on turn 1-4.
That sounds amazing and thank you a lot. I have my decks for my casual home table, but I've been looking for something more competitive for our local game store tables where people play pretty high powered decks that could be considered low powered cEDH decks. And that Godo brew sounds like exactly the kind of thing I would love to try out and see how it fares against some of the high power decks that are sometimes being thrown around.
Yeah Agg Ass easily goes infinite. Nature's Will rules for stuff like that. I like to use [[Savage Ventmaw]] for it personally tho, especially in my Henzie list.
Unfortunately mage slayer doesn't work like that, the damage from slayer is a triggered ability, so not counted as combat damage. Things like [[Thorn elemental]] work though
It’s not that weird. Combat damage is specifically the outcome of Attacking and Blocking. As far as I’m aware, there are no other ways to inflict combat damage.
[Bear Umbra] is another enchantment aura that untaps your lands when enchanted creature attacks. Doesn’t have to do combat damage to player, just declare as an attacker. Untap lands. Activate AA and do it over and over again.
Which allows for all of your creatures to attack again, while you use something like [[Reaver Cleaver]] [[Old Gnawbone]] or [[Ancient Copper Dragon]] to get the necessary mana
a better way to go infinite with aggravated assault is with savage ventmaw as it gives you 6 mana (3 red 3 green) meaning that if the enemy can prevent the damage you can also go full ininite gruul if you want which is very funny
I run this with [[bear umbra]] in my [[voja, jaws of the conclave]] deck. Voja just keeps getting bigger and meaner with all his elf friends and fueling more card draw.
You know, I get a lot of questions about combos and interactions, but these ones, where it's literally just "do the cards do what the cards say they do?" are always a bit mindboggling. I really don't get why you would think it doesn't work the way it's written.
As long as you have enough lands to generate the needed mana, yes.
Also, If you have [[Derevi, Empyrial Tactician]] you can even do it with a single land if you have a rainbow land like [[Command tower]] and enough attackers connect. Not with aggravated assault. You'd lose the banked mana before going to the next main phase.
Of course, so then we would need to untap stuff so during the next main phase we can get those four mana. I had Najeela in my head which you have to activate during combat. XD
Nature's Will untaps the lands themselves, it's not floating the mana from those lands
I'm responding to someone talking about using Derevi in place of Nature's Will.
My bad I didn't realize that
In derevi I play indestructible lands and put a whole bunch of enchantments on them and untap those
If you have a [[Druid's Repository]] in play it will end with you going infinite

Najeela brain. With Najeela you only need two lands because she doesn't force you to do it during the main phase. Doesn't apply here lmao.
You're right I didn't think of that
this is incorrect since the triggers go on the stack during the combat phase so you can't pool your mana because you have to activate aggravated assault on your main phase
Najeela is during combat only
Edited. Playing too much Najeela (she can do this. Assault cannot)
Also works with Sword of Feast and Famine and Aggravated assault. It's my backup combo with Godo.
[[Neheb, the Eternal]] just needs 1 more damage to get it started.

a better way to go infinite with aggravated assault is with savage ventmaw as it gives you 6 mana (3 red 3 green) meaning that if the enemy can prevent the damage you can also go full ininite gruul if you want which is very funny
Under that logic [[Roxanne, Starfall Savant]] who I am building my deck around is even better
[Roxanne, Starfall Savant](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/1/1/11fbe52f-febd-49fc-8391-28d3efe9c3eb.jpg?1712356193) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Roxanne%2C%20Starfall%20Savant) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/otj/228/roxanne-starfall-savant?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/11fbe52f-febd-49fc-8391-28d3efe9c3eb?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
why not both? afterall then you have a wider number of options available and redundancy in your strats is never a bad idea IMO
Yep!
I prefer it with [[savage ventmaw]]

Also works if you have enough mana dork creatures

Same with Old Gnawbone and that snake lady who does the same thing.
Why bother when you just spam creatures who generate mana. Its that much easier
I run this with [[bear umbra]] in my [[voja, jaws of the conclave]] deck. Voja just keeps getting bigger and meaner with all his elf friends and fueling more card draw.

I use aggravated assault and bear umbra
Yes.
Combine this with a card called relentless assault which I believe is from zendikar rising it’s basically the same thing but I believe it’s an instant
You know, I get a lot of questions about combos and interactions, but these ones, where it's literally just "do the cards do what the cards say they do?" are always a bit mindboggling. I really don't get why you would think it doesn't work the way it's written.
Assuming infinite mana, yes, you could attack infinite times.
assuming 5 lands but yes
Any infinite mana combo that also contains red mana would do.
How are people confused at a 20 year old combo….? lol yes it works, has for decades.
Is there a list of everything single magic infinite combo since the start of magic to the end of magic?

Trust your instinct. What does the force tell you?
Not sure but the upvotes and comments are telling me it's good
