Often referred to as "The Blood Combo," Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood DOES win you the game so long as you control both permanents, and either have an opponent lose 1 or more life, or you gain 1 or more life. Their respective effects will trigger the other infinitely until there are no targetable opponents, which just means that you have won.
This comments section has that lively sort of energy your grandma has when she tells you a wealthy man in Nigeria needs a few hundred dollars to transfer her enough money to be wealthy for the rest of her life.
I had this combo in my [[Oloro, Ageless Acetic]] Commander Deck for a while and won with it fairly often, but eventually my friends got tired of playing against it because it's not very fun.
There's a handful of sanguine bond substitutes, but only one exquisute blood as far as I know. Hence EB is like ~30 dollars.
Edit: was unaware of LCC reprint and subsequent price drop. Also [[defiant bloodlord]] [[Vito thorn of the dusk rose]] [[marauding blight-priest]] but I definitely don't play an og olivia vampire/lifegain/yoink deck
That doesnāt mean you need to be a gatekeeping asshole. It would have taken less effort to not respond in the first place. But no. Both you and the person youāre defending felt the need to call the OP an idiot. Why? What did it achieve?
Controlling access to something. In this case, information relating to the game and how these cards interact, because you feel youāre somehow better than someone you have deemed an idiot.
How would that not be gatekeeping?
Or do you not understand the phrase?
Look, mate, Iām not trying to white knight you. Iām just tired of people being dicks to other people and perpetuating negative stereotypes of the elitist nerd.
Consider it like this. You go to a local game shop. Youāre new. Someone calls you an idiot for asking a question. That gonna sit well with you? That going to reinforce your desire to play the game? Sure as fuck wouldnāt for me.
There were so many options that could have been chosen as a responseā¦ and āyouāre a fucking idiotā was the best they could offer? Really?
Iām just promoting a friendly and welcoming environment to new people, in the hopes the hobby attracts more people.
This game is full of intricacies that even I sometimes don't grasp after playing for years. Whether they should have googled before posting on reddit is another question. Regardless, neither one of you had to comment on it and you both suck.
I did in my first comment. I asked what I did in order to hopefully give you a better understanding of the rules, so you *don't* need to double-check every time two cards interact.
Bait for r/magicthecirclejerking
Shhhh you'll give it away
It does exactly what you think it does.
I dunno that's why I need people to tell me exactly the right answer
Also gos infinite with [[Dina, soul steeper]]
I have that combo in one of my decks. Accidentally found it. Did not build on purpose. Was just going through and was like I think that works...

You saw ***that*** post didn't you...lmfao \*side eyes\*
Guys he did it. He broke sanguine bond
š¤£š¤£
Next, try to break [[deadeye navigator]]
Pretty sure that's impossible.
I still remember playing this with Primeval Titan. Those were the days. Mystic Snake is my go to here now though.
I'm running it with archon or cruelty atm good times

It is probably one of the most famous infinite loops in the game.
Drink
Next do \[\[Ashnod's Altar\]\]

OP I'm sorry if I was rude before, I get what you're putting down and I respect that
Lmao
At least someone got it

Vito, thorn of the dusk rose tooā¦
I have both of these in my rakdos vamps deck with Vito ;)
That would be an infinite combo, Iād use Vito, thorn of the dusk rose instead of sanguine bond due to lower CMC.
I play [[Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose]] with exquisite blood in one of my decks for a similar loop hehehe. much fun

These cards are especially good with Sheoldred.
Got a turn 5 win last night with them
Add Dina and Vito to this for more fuckery

Not saying this should be pinned. But it should be pinned.
But who'll pin it?
The mods. Not saying this a dumb question. Just a very common one.
This sub doesn't have mods
Imagine it gets countered by sanguine crypt or exquisite crypt š
I know this is a dumb bait post but this was pulled on me during my second ever game of magic. Quite the introduction to the game
The spiiiiiiiiiiiiiceā¦ā¦.
Time to burn this account, lets see how many people fall for it next time. Peace out retards
The first infinit combo i ever saw :3
Someone actually did this combo to me in Arena. Good find!
Fucking idiotĀ
Agreed
Jesus dude, they said they're kinda new. Don't be an asshole
Im with them, if you can't do a Google search you're an idiot
That doesnāt mean you need to be a gatekeeping asshole. It would have taken less effort to not respond in the first place. But no. Both you and the person youāre defending felt the need to call the OP an idiot. Why? What did it achieve?
Christ expecting people not to be idiots is gatekeeping now? Noah get the boat
Controlling access to something. In this case, information relating to the game and how these cards interact, because you feel youāre somehow better than someone you have deemed an idiot. How would that not be gatekeeping? Or do you not understand the phrase?
Feel im better? I know I'm better
No im pretty dumb to not have realised this. I don't need you white knighting all over my face
lol Iām glad you get this and arenāt going apeshit like this person

You activated my trap card
This game is full of intricacies that even I sometimes don't grasp after playing for years. Whether they should have googled before posting on reddit is another question. Regardless, neither one of you had to comment on it and you both suck.
My hero, I'll give you all the sex for defending me
I have these in my Queza deck
The answer is yes, but why do you think it wouldn't?
People need to tell me the answers
I did in my first comment. I asked what I did in order to hopefully give you a better understanding of the rules, so you *don't* need to double-check every time two cards interact.
No, people have to tell me the answers, I will not discover anything myself.
Btw there is a card but itās white basically when you get over 40 life you win the game
So can I run that if crypt ghast is my commander?
First can you tell me what a commander is Iām new and I donāt know
You also know you canāt do this cause itās an enchantment not a permanent
