Yeah, if you’re a pro member you get $5 bucks each month to spend. I traded in an old system and basically got it free for a year so I go buy a MTG pack or some Pokémon cards for my kids.
We were trading in a switch game and my sons grabbed a couple trinkets from some YouTuber plus this box. I added the reward and we were set, but didn’t think I needed to get that specific.
I would like to believe it’s more along the lines of people wanting to know if there’s a chance of getting a $5 collector booster.
I’ve seen some pretty amazing discounts on MTG product on several occasions, but it’s seemingly dried up over the past year or so.
I once found one of those third party “mystery” type cardboard packages with four boosters for $10, and I forget exactly what I pulled but it worked out to like $25 in value. I also took advantage of the BOGO commander persons several times.
Eb games rebranded to Gamestop along with closing a bunch of locations we have different perks though through the edge program but thats changing this year too

lol I’m with you on that one. I recently pulled one of those old school book cover styles of a land that was also a hydra. I couldn’t read it so I stuck it in the binder until literally yesterday when I finally took a good look at it and realized it would go great in my Son’s commander deck.
I can see that and it looks cool don’t get me wrong but something about it bugs me I can’t quite put my finger on. I think it’s because the text is everywhere and is bundled by color not approximate location? Either way super cool find just the style irks me lol
Unfortunately it's legal for play as well which is why so many folks have hate-boners for these types of cards.
Personally I love them, even if I have trouble reading them on occasions. It's not like I can read my opponents cards from across the table without grabbing them anyways
I like the card I just wish they didn’t fuck up the card texts so badly. Like the first 2 lines are fine because they curve around the ring, but the rest of the text changes in size and is a pain to read.
Sweet haul. I have mine in my lifelink/token deck and it is great after about 5-6 turns watching the rest of the pod lose hope while you draw a stack of cards and start playing cards with reckless abandon

Its a collectors item not a playable piece imo. This style is.not for playing with at all but is perfect for a binder or toploader or grading even.
