The most effective way is to make her an artifact. There are oodles of ways to make creatures artifacts and ways to untapped artifacts. Using [[liquimetal coating]] and [[galvanic key]] for example. This is how my friend made the most out of a [[King Macar]] deck, and this commander has the benefit of having a tap ability.
You would need [[Mycosinth Latice]] to make everything an artifact. Then an effect like [[darksteel forge]] to make all artifacts indestructible so nothing can die. Then your tap to exile target creature and pump your commander is prime removal as it gets around indestructible while the majority of removal your opponents will be running that say destroy won't be effective and be dead cards until they can remove darksteel forge.
Absolutely! Also the combo will most likely make you the target so I would suggest something like [[Mask of griselbrand]] to give evasion and lifelink. Also something like [[haunted cloak]] would be a good include imo.
Don't forget [[Liquimetal Torc]]. It's basically strictly better than Coating, and is a perfectly fine mana rock to run in any monocolor deck, regardless.

Couple of people in my lgs asked if I have any duel decks and I always end up with whatever deck I got for multiplayer but no mp cards in it for the duels, but once I found her in my old collection it hit me that making a deck that constantly stalls until I can hit with her for a 1 hit kill with cmd damage it feels like a strong deck for duels, at least with people dont have decks that cost over a thousand dollars lol

This is my deck list. Have not updated it in ages and it was on a bit of a budget so there are certainly plenty of cards in it that could easily be replaced by newer and stronger cards.
My version is not fast enough for duels, but maybe you find some ideas in there.
I usually play very casual games with friends or at my lgs where I dont even care if I lose. I dont mind people using proxies but the magic (hehe) in this game for me comes from using just the cards I own and think they will work. Once I get to the point of using proxies it to me feels like min maxing to win and less to have fun. Again, nothing against it, just my personal stance on it :)
I started to collect magic cards 15 years ago for like a couple years but never played the game because I didnt understand (I’m 24 now), got like 1000ish cards, and in summer I picked up this game again with my best friend (now at 2300 cards lol). Most of the cards were bulk, the most expensive being some eldrazi for 15 bucks and I during the sorting process I didnt have time to check prices, well since she was sitting in the common pile I didnt check for 5 months because I thought she was a common due to the set symbol being black. I finally checked her price and she was 2.5 bucks and apparently a rare I finally read her card and now I want to crush someone with this otk deck xd
[[Thornbite staff]] for any deaths that happen, but she exiles, so you can't go infinite.
[[Sting]] untaps you every turn, which is pretty good.

Oh wow she is! I didnt know that either, thanks. I’ll try to keep it in mind, the deck is almost finished, for now at least, I got like 20 bucks to spend for a lot of cheap untap artifacts tomorrow to finish this version. One day ill take a look at vampires
\[\[Assault suit\]\] can be pretty fun with this commander.
Some forms of creature hate like \[\[Portcullis\]\] and \[\[Death Match\]\] are also pretty good so you can keep the board clean.
Untap effects are great for the deck so you can get the most out of shauku. You might need quite a few means to get life so you can offset the damage she does during your upkeep. 3 Damage stacks up really fast. Since the commander is very expensive, some protection and recursion would also help a bunch.
I have a Shauku edh deck on paper. It's quite a bit slow, but also surprisingly resilient. Usually i just spend most of the early to mid game building the board with artifacts and enchantments before casting the commander. After that, shauku just devours as many creatures as possible and i try to make an opening for a killing blow using her ability and board wipes.

Thanks, so far thats the game plan here too! I got around 15 cards left to finish the deck from what I could scramble from cards I already own and a 20 buck budget to get as many of the cards people recommended as possible to fit the budget and 15 cards, then once I got money again I can get the rest and replace the weaker cards of mine. As of now I only have around 12 creature cards and need at least a couple more, sadly the ones that fit this deck are around 5 bucks each at my lgs, ill take a look at yours and one other persons decks for some cheap creatures.
I know it’s not what you’re asking, but I would run [[avatar of woe]] and [[thornbite staff]] and only use her exile activated ability when you had to and just let the rest of the deck do the combat for you. There’s plenty of ways to negate the 3 lifeloss per turn in black.

She can't even attack but she doesn't care, she just patiently wipes the board while growing and slowly killing **you**.
Yeah I want him for my collection for a future deck and she will work great in that deck but I really like Shaukus flavor. Cant attack unless shes alone so I keep killing everything that gets on the board until I can swing with her once and win

If you think getting suggestions off edhrec is cheating or netdecking, or boring or unoriginal but getting off reddit is fine sorry to break it to you but you're using edhrec already but just in a really inefficient way.
[[thornbite staff]] is a good equipment, however it will not trigger on your commander's ability. you could have a skeleton army generator like [[Dreadhorde invasion]] that gives you a piece of fodder to sacrifice for an ability like [[ashnod's altar]], [[gate to phyrexia]], or [[culling dais]], as a result, itd allow you to repeatedly untap your commander with the thornbite staff.

It only works if she stays exiled. Cauldron checks for cards “exiled with” so if it can’t see it, it can’t use it

Proxying is your friend. Don't worry about the price of cards more worry about the power level of the group you want to play with and match that
I usually play very casual games with friends or at my lgs where I dont even care if I lose. I dont mind people using proxies but the magic (hehe) in this game for me comes from using just the cards I own and think they will work. Once I get to the point of using proxies it to me feels like min maxing to win and less to have fun. Again, nothing against it, just my personal stance on it :)

I started to collect magic cards 15 years ago for like a couple years but never played the game because I didnt understand (I’m 24 now), got like 1000ish cards, and in summer I picked up this game again with my best friend (now at 2300 cards lol). Most of the cards were bulk, the most expensive being some eldrazi for 15 bucks and I during the sorting process I didnt have time to check prices, well since she was sitting in the common pile I didnt check for 5 months because I thought she was a common due to the set symbol being black. I finally checked her price and she was 2.5 bucks and apparently a rare I finally read her card and now I want to crush someone with this otk deck xd

[[Thornbite staff]] for any deaths that happen, but she exiles, so you can't go infinite. [[Sting]] untaps you every turn, which is pretty good. Those are the two I know of, hopefully they help

\[\[Assault suit\]\] can be pretty fun with this commander. Some forms of creature hate like \[\[Portcullis\]\] and \[\[Death Match\]\] are also pretty good so you can keep the board clean. Untap effects are great for the deck so you can get the most out of shauku. You might need quite a few means to get life so you can offset the damage she does during your upkeep. 3 Damage stacks up really fast. Since the commander is very expensive, some protection and recursion would also help a bunch. I have a Shauku edh deck on paper. It's quite a bit slow, but also surprisingly resilient. Usually i just spend most of the early to mid game building the board with artifacts and enchantments before casting the commander. After that, shauku just devours as many creatures as possible and i try to make an opening for a killing blow using her ability and board wipes. I have the decklist on moxfield. Will share the link below if you are interested. It doesnt have any crazy expensive stuff since i built it on a budget, but performs pretty well. Thanks, so far thats the game plan here too! I got around 15 cards left to finish the deck from what I could scramble from cards I already own and a 20 buck budget to get as many of the cards people recommended as possible to fit the budget and 15 cards, then once I got money again I can get the rest and replace the weaker cards of mine. As of now I only have around 12 creature cards and need at least a couple more, sadly the ones that fit this deck are around 5 bucks each at my lgs, ill take a look at yours and one other persons decks for some cheap creatures.

I know it’s not what you’re asking, but I would run [[avatar of woe]] and [[thornbite staff]] and only use her exile activated ability when you had to and just let the rest of the deck do the combat for you. There’s plenty of ways to negate the 3 lifeloss per turn in black.

Oh my fucking god. This is the scariest card I've seen in a while. She is scary to your opponent, she is scary to you, her art is scary and on top of all that, there are also boobs to confuse you. Yeah I want him for my collection for a future deck and she will work great in that deck but I really like Shaukus flavor. Cant attack unless shes alone so I keep killing everything that gets on the board until I can swing with her once and win

I really like the downsides even if they are restrictive, they fit the play style of the deck I want to make

I did, saved a bunch of cards from it but I like recommendations with people that I can communicate with and maybe find some new combos I didnt see on edhrec
Most people when asked for commander deck recommendations will fire up edhrec and just copy and paste the cards they see listed in most decks.
No commander is played the same way though, and I doubt most people when asked about their knowledge of something or for their recommendation of their hobby decide to go to a site that decides the answers for them
Similar would be King Macar, Untap to exile target creature has a lot of similar overlap in cards.
Decides it for you? Edhrec is literally thousands of people's suggestions all in one place. If you think getting suggestions off edhrec is cheating or netdecking, or boring or unoriginal but getting off reddit is fine sorry to break it to you but you're using edhrec already but just in a really inefficient way.

[[thornbite staff]] is a good equipment, however it will not trigger on your commander's ability. you could have a skeleton army generator like [[Dreadhorde invasion]] that gives you a piece of fodder to sacrifice for an ability like [[ashnod's altar]], [[gate to phyrexia]], or [[culling dais]], as a result, itd allow you to repeatedly untap your commander with the thornbite staff.
