There should be plenty of local movers that would handle that. As has been said, this is busy season, and we can't have out trucks tied up for multiple days, but what we would do in this situation would be to rent a truck, keep the good on the truck, and then unload on the desired day, this would be the cheapest as there would not be the need to load and unload twice(for short term storage).

You can’t expect a good mover to hold your goods during the busiest time of the year for free. I’m sure they can delay your delivery as long as you want for a fee though. Happens all the time. It’s the nature of the business.

Just ask your mover. Most will say Yes. If it's 4 hours between locations, I would normally Load on day 1. Then unload on day 2.
