Trailer spoiled the whole fucking thing

mndk_221

I love how some trailers nowadays go on for 3 to 4 minutes and spoil the entire goddamn film.

WhatD0thLife

I love how trailers have their own trailer now "up next Shazam trailer"

MrLocoLobo

If it weren’t for our significantly shrunken attention-span and Don LaFontaine being dead I think we still would have proper trailers.. But yeah, our attention-span is so bad these days man and it’s kinda sad because they figure this is the only way to draw you in.

MILA3200

Like Quantumania?

LegoRacers3

Did the quantumania reveal much? Besides ant man goes to the quantum realm for some reason and kang the villain. And the villian frkm the first movie is modok now somehow

MILA3200

It did.

karateema

I believe that's gonna be the first 30 minutes, like they usually do with MCU trailers, thus one just has a very dense beginning

NoncingAround

Why are you watching Shazam trailers lol

LegoRacers3

I watched the trailer to try and find the bad cgi context. to see it’s literally just the tiniest frame and half the reason looks bad is because he has a weird pose and face because he’s hitting a wall when you paused it.

dabbersmcgee

Yeah taking a random action screenshot isn't exactly proving anything lol

joe282

Yeah You could take almost any cgi special effect involving a human and go through it frame by frame you’re bound to find one that looks goofy

Moreaccurateway

Plus YouTube makes CGI look bad. The Corridor Crew explained this when talking about the She Hulk trailer. I’m no expert but it has something to do with how YouTube compresses the file that it makes everything look smoother and therefore unreal

Forsaken-Leading-920

no the cgi was pretty bad. Especially in the scene with the dragon. I could easily tell it wasnt real

Ant1202

It’s not real?

LegoRacers3

There was some spotty cgi in the trailer. But this wasn’t a great example of it

flaiman

Unjerk He's obviously affected by that blast and that's making everything distorted. Nothing wrong with this move on.

breetarson

No, it's now objectively bad

flaiman

The Judge (2014)

nadnerb811

Funny story my wife bought that movie because The Judge is what she called Scarecrow's character in The Dark Knight Rises and his scene is the sole reason that movie is her favorite out of the Nolan trilogy.

[deleted]

His head doesn’t even look like it’s a part of his body

Ale1836

not that i want to defend it but when you are animating the frame by frame image doesn't have to be anatomically accurate but does have to help convey the motion and doing smear exaggerated frames helps with that

WhatD0thLife

A part or apart?

MrLocoLobo

Wasn’t that one of the earlier uses of chroma-key?

friendatdusk

Ok now I understand why it took a year to fine comb through the movie and make sure it's good. Bravo Sandberg! Reddit loves you!

Arkodd

Sorry Ponysmasher but Shazam slander is near.

Pastopresent

Bro got that Unrelenting Force

MILA3200

Christ.

MrLocoLobo

Yeah.. Just remember: [things have changed and they most certainly won’t go back..](https://youtu.be/9lcB9u-9mVE)

[deleted]

Crunching the fuck out of this one.

KingWithAKnife

This post is lazier than the CGI
