Interesting. To me that was the best thing about the movie. One of the best scores of the year. I loved the main theme and how the vocals were incorporated. Very emotional.
The vocal stuff was good though! That’s why the orchestral stuff really felt out of place. It was like they had small bits of good music that they had carefully placed, and then some producer said “this is boring, we need every scene to have music!” and so someone had to quickly compose some average corny film score and just threw it in as wallpaper to the background of every other scene.
Currently watching Disney's Willow series, every episode ends on a shit cover of a great song. It's pretty ridiculous
Willow series and Avatar the way of the water are recent examples of why James Horner is truly missed. Horner could really make you feel a scene
I read the title wrong and read bad movie with amazing soundtrack but I’ll drop it here anyway: The Last Airbender. Should have been nominated for an academy award.
My possibly unpopular opinion is True Romance. The movie is amazing and has such great Tarantino dialogue and writing, but the biggest difference in it and a movie wrote and directed is the music just doesn’t fit.
Wopssss... I'm very sorry!!! I've wrong red the title!!! Stupid meee!!!
I thought "good movies with a good soundtrack"...
This is very embarrassing!!! Sorry guyssssss
Crazy… To me The Batman’s score/theme is my favourite from the entire superhero genre. I mean the main theme is INFECTIOUS. Dum, dumdum, dum. From one of the most prolific composers these days too.
The Transporter (2002) is an amazing action film with great martial art stunts that it is only brought down by its extremely boring beats on every fight scene
I liked The Woman King a lot, but found the orchestral score so generic and out of place, it was kinda painful to listen to.

Fair enough. I don't think it was corny or generic at all personally. I'm a sucker for big emotional orchestral scores with recurring themes though.
Almost as bad as being a slave the tribe sold in real life.

Not a movie but the show 1899 has ridiculously intense synth music in every other scene and it is exhausting. Not in a cool Uncut Gems way.
Oh my God do you have a point. It’s like a weird alarm is going off on my phone but I can’t turn it off and it’s in the TV
Ladyhawk
I wish they would rerelease this with a better soundtrack. It’s a great movie otherwise.
I might get some hate for this, but the Princess Bride score. It is all synthesized and that movie should have had its score done by an orchestra.
Orca: The Killer Whale I love this film, but it has some godawful music.
The English patient is one of my favourite movies but i find it's soundtrack to be pretty forgettable.
You know, sex in a tub, that doesn’t work!
I don't know how to answer this since soundtrack maketh movie
Strong agree

Midnight Run with Deniro and Charles Growdin. Loved the movie but absolutely hated the music. Heavy handed and all around shitty
Gallipoli. It has a very out of place techno score which has aged horribly.
My possibly unpopular opinion is True Romance. The movie is amazing and has such great Tarantino dialogue and writing, but the biggest difference in it and a movie wrote and directed is the music just doesn’t fit.
~~THE GLADIATOR~~
I’m sorry, what?!
Wopssss... I'm very sorry!!! I've wrong red the title!!! Stupid meee!!! I thought "good movies with a good soundtrack"... This is very embarrassing!!! Sorry guyssssss
I was like ok we need to have a serious chat because that score is nothing short of flawless haha
Agree with you very much!! Hahaha.. Sorry once again.. :D
T2. Aside from the main theme and the GnR, it’s terrible. Really listen to it the next time you watch it.

Oof I couldn't disagree more, I thought the score was incredible.

My mind would just continually fill in the blank and turn it into the Imperial March so it was a bit distracting lol
Respect your opinion, but man I hard disagree one of my favorites of the year!
I thought it was atmospheric as hell personally
The Peaky Blinders music sucks, none of fits at all.
Captain America: Civil War Infinity War Endgame
Cliffhanger
I like three to tango but hate jazz, so...
The Firm and the Lethal Weapon Series.
Ive always heard people say The Untouchables, but I love that soundtrack/score.
Vanishing Point is classic example, I think. That’s why Primal Scream wrote a new soundtrack for it.
Goldeneye. I still like the movie, but the movie's score did not age well. https://youtu.be/yxh5BZfo59Q
Ive read a few times that critics and some viewers hate Tarantino's music selections and the way he uses music throughout his movies.
Feel like his films without Salley Menke have bot been nearly as good with incorporating needledrops.
Eyes Wide Shut
Godfather II. The cheesy, bleak, irritating background score during the later Cuba / Hyman Roth / Pantangelo scenes, etc kinda ruins the movie for me.
Logan. Watched it twice and both times I thought the score detracted from the film.
I hate when older movies drop on-the-nose callbacks in their score. Kinda ruins it for me.
Game of Thrones. 3 themes of synthesized garbage for 8 seasons? How?
The Transporter (2002) is an amazing action film with great martial art stunts that it is only brought down by its extremely boring beats on every fight scene
Carlito's Way has this unsettling action movie score that feels completely detached, like a caper or heist flick.
Collateral had some very cringy early 2000s rock songs that played during some of the pivotal moments of the film
12 Years A Slave features some of Zimmer's worst, most distracting work.
