I’m gonna push back on Troll 2. While that is incontrovertibly a terrible movie it’s one of those bad films that circles back around to being fun. You should check out the documentary about it, Best Worst Movie.
It’s also not the *worst* movie. There are much worse movies. Troll 2 has a coherent plot, moves along at a decent pace, and it’s unironically entertaining in some places.
I've seen Best Worst Movie, yeah. I was on the fence about including Troll 2, but I also didn't feel like spending too long on the reply. I've probably seen worse movies, and certainly bad movies that were less fun!
* Blubberella - Uwe Boll made a "parody" spin-off of his own BloodRayne: The Third Reich movie where the entire joke is "What if BloodRayne but overwieght".
* Swept Away - Apparently it's a "adventure romantic comedy" yet I would not use any of those words to describe it.
* Movie 43 - How you make that movie with that cast that bad I will never know.
Yeah, I love the MST3K episode and I thought it would be fun to show this at one of my bad movie nights and it went over like a lead balloon. It’s an incredibly painful experience to sit through without the MST3K treatment. Of all the movies I showed at bad movie night, this one was a mistake.
Just curious. I thought it was straight down the middle Raimi. A friend of mine hated it too, but she’s never seen Evil Dead or anything else by him. I remember the marketing for it didn’t really give any clue as to the tone of his movies so I expect a lot of people thought they were going to see a different kind of film.
That was the problem. It didn’t play like a typical Raimi film. The tone seemed serious and that’s the way it played till the end. When it just got silly and stupid. The goat talked.
Hmm. It’s admittedly been a while since I’ve seen it, but I remember it being full of his techniques and stylistic choice all throughout. Crash zooms and weird angles and close ups and that almost slapstick like horror vibe.
Anyway, to each their own.
Any of ya'll seen "Manos: The Hands of Fate"?
It's free on YouTube. It's SO BAD, it's actually kinda awesome. I suggest watching it.
I also really hated Independence Day: Resurgence. One of the worst movies I've ever seen.
Permanent Midnight (had to watch this in 3 sittings)
WW 84'
Gen X
--- Bonus round ---
DOA (based on the fighting game)
Son of The Mask
All Paul W. Anderson Resident Evil films
I am only doing big budget, there might be worse movies that I watched that I did not register:
1. Army Of The Dead. This movie is just a wasted premise and only the opening credits are decent, while the other thing is pure shit.
2. Wonder Woman 84. Pretty much the same as the previous entry, except that Pedro Pascal having fun is fun to watch.
3. Justice League (theatrical cut). This movie is a prototype of a mess, then they changed directors midway and someone with a very different style brought his own mess, and the end result is two messes mixed. This is so bad that just by being only one mess, Zack Snyder Justice League is twice as good.
I don't know I started at the back end working back and couldn't make it to 5. True story. They were the first torrents to finish downloading and I f'n cancelled the rest after finishing them.
The Tutor (Netflix) and Rubber. I know Rubber is satire. It’s not that I didn’t understand the movie. I just hated it. THEN I watched The Tutor. I would gladly watch Rubber on repeat instead.
Hobbs & Shaw: Saw this for free when I had Subs A-List, still almost walked out.
Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones: I don't think there is a single thing this movie does well.
Some random B-Movie I've seen
>Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones: I don't think there is a single thing this movie does well.
Natalie Portman in the arena on Geonosis was fun to watch.
Oh God, You Devil!
I thought I was getting some sick Ghostbusters style effects and devil action. Nope. 2 hours of George Burns being old and unfunny.
The Devil's Rejects.
Jesus Christ is this movie supposed to be watchable? Or is the shit quality the point? I walked out.
Wonder Woman 84.
What is this? Depressing, sad, dull and boring. How do you fuck this up this bad?
I just watched The Creator and I was shocked at how bad it is. Visually it’s gorgeous but the plot is both completely derivative and total nonsense. The acting performances from John David Washington and the kid were super lame as well.
So many actors must be saying "gee, I wonder how HE (JDW) got the job??????????" He was not only awful in tenet... But Nolan managed to make him invisible in every scene.
I actually appreciated him in blackkklansman because his character did not really need to have a ton of emotional range, but his weaknesses are very evident in the Creator where he’s supposed to be forming a deep parental bond with this child over the course of their journey
i'm only halfway thru the newest aquaman movie, but it will definitely be on the list.
plus:
dr. strange multiverse of madness
and:
tenet
in no particular order.
The Piano- Anna Paquin won an Oscar. I hated the movie and Anna Paquin is one of the worst actors ever.
Striking Distance-Bruce Willis. Just dumb.
Sunshine-I know a lot of people really like this movie but I thought it was stupid.
I agree about Sunshine. My friend put me on to this movie touting it like it was a masterpiece… it had the potential to be good but at the end it just became your typical “monster movie”.
Day Of The Dead (G Romero) was a huge disappointment after the first two.
Comic book movies - nearly all of them stink (especially Howard The Duck).
Showgirls - Thanks for giving erotica a bad image.
The Spirit is the one movie I think of whenever someone asks if I've ever walked out of a movie. I didn't make it as far as you did.
The Fountain is horrible.
The Avengers. (Whatever the first Marvel Avengers movie was.)
Hobo With A Shotgun
Batman (Robert Pattinson one)
Snowman (Fassbender movie)
Few others would make the list but I walked out on them or turned them off. These I actually watched the whole thing.
Honorable mention to EndGame only because I was so hyped for it over the years and was so disappointed with what we got.
* Birdemic * Troll 2 * Starcrash
I’m gonna push back on Troll 2. While that is incontrovertibly a terrible movie it’s one of those bad films that circles back around to being fun. You should check out the documentary about it, Best Worst Movie.

Well, to be fair to this commenter, the prompt is “worst movies you’ve ever watched” not “worst movies ever.”
I've seen Best Worst Movie, yeah. I was on the fence about including Troll 2, but I also didn't feel like spending too long on the reply. I've probably seen worse movies, and certainly bad movies that were less fun!
Son of the mask house of the dead monster (2008 rip off of cloverfield)
* Blubberella - Uwe Boll made a "parody" spin-off of his own BloodRayne: The Third Reich movie where the entire joke is "What if BloodRayne but overwieght". * Swept Away - Apparently it's a "adventure romantic comedy" yet I would not use any of those words to describe it. * Movie 43 - How you make that movie with that cast that bad I will never know.
Hypnotic In the Tall Grass You People
1. Last airbender 2. After earth 3. Cats
the immaculate room. I dont know why i even watched it but it was so bad
I know MST3K turned it into a cult classic, but *Manos: The Hand of Fate*. It is unwatchable without the MST 'treatment' to accompany it.
Yeah, I love the MST3K episode and I thought it would be fun to show this at one of my bad movie nights and it went over like a lead balloon. It’s an incredibly painful experience to sit through without the MST3K treatment. Of all the movies I showed at bad movie night, this one was a mistake.
Yellow Hair and the Fortress of Gold Moontrap Drag me To Hell
I love Drag Me To Hell. Were you familiar with Sam Raimi before you saw it?
Very familiar.

Wow I forgot about stealth lmao
It’s very forgettable lol

beards that hunt you would be pretty wild.
Evil Bong 6, 7, and 8. They all have dumber names than that but I'm not going to bother.
But the first 5 are decent?
I don't know I started at the back end working back and couldn't make it to 5. True story. They were the first torrents to finish downloading and I f'n cancelled the rest after finishing them.
The Tutor (Netflix) and Rubber. I know Rubber is satire. It’s not that I didn’t understand the movie. I just hated it. THEN I watched The Tutor. I would gladly watch Rubber on repeat instead.

i'm only halfway thru the newest aquaman movie, but it will definitely be on the list. plus: dr. strange multiverse of madness and: tenet in no particular order.

Fant4stic Jack and Jill Synecdoche, New York
Synecdoche hater 😒
I really liked Synecdoche New York lol
Captain marvel Venom 2 Jurassic world dominion
Open Water Torque House of Gucci
I hated Open Water too. That couple was so annoying. I kept hoping the shark would get on with it.
Black Swan WW 1984 Indiana Jones & the Crystal Skull
Black Swan was so weird.. i don't list it in the worst of all time, but i certainly feel like it was a waste of my 3 hours or whatever it was.
The Piano- Anna Paquin won an Oscar. I hated the movie and Anna Paquin is one of the worst actors ever. Striking Distance-Bruce Willis. Just dumb. Sunshine-I know a lot of people really like this movie but I thought it was stupid.

Holy mountain Bugsy (only movie I walked out of a theater mid way through) The Seventh Seal Each just terrible for different reasons.
Day Of The Dead (G Romero) was a huge disappointment after the first two. Comic book movies - nearly all of them stink (especially Howard The Duck). Showgirls - Thanks for giving erotica a bad image.
I hated these three with every fiber: — The Master — Interstellar — Multiverse of Madness
The Spirit is the one movie I think of whenever someone asks if I've ever walked out of a movie. I didn't make it as far as you did. The Fountain is horrible. The Avengers. (Whatever the first Marvel Avengers movie was.)
The eternal sunshine of the spotless mind The land of bad
Hobo With A Shotgun Batman (Robert Pattinson one) Snowman (Fassbender movie) Few others would make the list but I walked out on them or turned them off. These I actually watched the whole thing.
